Yeah, but you have to admit that for an 86 it looks pretty good. My truck is a 1990 and it's cab corners are gone or going, and the bottom rear corners of the doors are eaten up a bit. I won't mention the huge hole under the rear bumper's center step pad.
But I see trucks like mine of newer model years all the time, and they're in worse shape, with less miles on them. Mine just hit 180,000 miles last week.
It costs anywhere from 1800 to 2000 usd to have a transmission like the one in my truck rebuilt. I paid 1600 for my truck and guess what it's got behind the engine? Yep, a freshly rebuilt transmission. I joke that I bought a rebuilt trans and got a truck free.
