# KeeJay : Really? Thanks!Yes. Btw, I feel like the deep dish doesn't have enough ''sharp lines'', IMO it should be a bit less flat, maybe try to make it look a bit like this, or I can do that for you |

How about topping it with concave on the deep and deepest too?

I think that five versions of basic is enough.
Imagine it: 1. Normal 2. Normal Concave 3. Normal Deep 4. Normal Deep Concave 5. Normal Deepest 6. Normal Deepest Concave 7. Normal Flat 8. Normal Flat Concave 9. Normal Flat Deep 10. Normal Flat Deepest 11. Normal Matte 12. Normal Matte Concave 13. Normal Matte Deep 14. Normal Matte Deep Concave 15. Normal Matte Deepest 16. Normal Matte Deepest Concave 17. Normal Matte Flat 18. Normal Matte Flat Concave 19. Normal Matte Flat Deep 20. Normal Matte Flat Deepest 21. RT 22. Super Lap 23. Super Lap Black Edition 24. Tokyo Time Attack 25. Ultra 26. Gymkhana Special 27. Nissan Motorsport Forged Mag Centerlock And that at every size from 16 to 19. I don't think that you want to fill your rim catalog with TE37s. |

I'm thinking about it too, but 15" have kinda different bolt pattern (4, not 5 bolts, and my 3d skills suck), also - I'm following Japanese Volk Rays site, and there's no 15" with basic FM4 shape - only the TE37V, smooth-shaped ones. (There's also no 19", but shh...)
# Mario : yep , too much versions there. Adjustable offsset instead normal/deep/deepest ?All these will have adjustable offset. And about the thing you told - I could do adjustable dish, but it's a little hard to make it actually work. |

What u mean , it works. U can even made the bolts in that way and it will comes as one rim with everything separately paintable
Edit - yeah I've meant adjustable dish |

Yeah, but look at Franco's Adjustable Dish Pack - you lose your dish-deepness after loading of save. Also, you can run rim without spokes (and by the way you said - bolts).
So, I'll just keep them by the way they are. There are actually 16, and I'm planning to do two more (Ultra Track Edition and the forged centerlock from FM4). And then, stop working on them. I might make three separate RPKs - for standard, standard matte (on pics the one with red stickers) and one for special editions. I might. |

Adjustable offsets? that is one of the least liked things on the rim packs IMO. Is there any kind of scripts that makes the settings permanent on the rim instead of temporary since the saved cars get the wheels with a different setting than you wanted (either as default or adjusted it points out from the wheel arches untill you repair to get the wheels as they were before)?

YOU WHAT M8? so you'd prefer to edit the cars cfg manually, every time you use a different set of rims, for every car? haha.. |

The biggest reason that adjustable offset is annoying for a lot of people, is because there's a script error that makes the offset not load when you load/save a car or buy a car from the catalog. But that's super fixable by adding an updatevariables method to the rim java.

I'd post the existing tutorials here if VStanced had a MediaWiki powered thing. I don't particularly feel like trying to convert my pre-written tutorials from wiki script to bbcode if I can help it.
(And I'd really love that, to be honest; I haven't been able to get Singh to put the wiki back up.) For what it's worth, the way to make that work is to insert this: public void updatevariables() { super.updatevariables(); setSlotPos( 1, new Vector3(f_offset/1000.0, 0, 0), null ); }before this line: public void load( File saveGame )(...or anywhere before the closing bracket works, really, but this is the most logical place.) |

I don't particularly feel like trying to convert my pre-written tutorials from wiki script to bbcode if I can help it. its easy to get a wiki running and I had it but had a few people moan that gom is already there and I wonder how many would be willing to re-submit the tutorials and if it's actually going to be as used as the tutorial section on the main site if you see my point? so maybe converting it to BB code is a good idea? - the fact that it is widely used helps a lot too |
