# KeeJay : I see good thing coming. IMO the red glass from rear taillights is a a little bit too much transparent.

I have suggestion: could you do some hardcore time-attack bodykit? You know, with big-ass spoilers and diffusers.
Thanks KeeJay, i'm doing a "hard" work testing a lot of material setups in these tail lights glass.
And for sure it will have some time-attack parts, i've already made some diffusers and it will be ingame soon.

# Back_in_Black : i love you for this m8. :D

//edit: but please make a version without these stickers on the hood and the VW Logos on the site.. :D
Thanks man. And about the stickers it is only a paint job who i converted from NFS:W to test some parts of the car mapping

Do like 66 points of opacity in material editor - should look fine.

Nice.

BTW: From what game that Scirocco is? Forza or some NFS (Shift 2)?

I'll try it, but the major problem is the tail light glass uses a 2 layers system (the internal one is black and the external is red) and in slrr we cant use a transparent material behind another (except if both use the same material with the same color), so idk if i should use a solid material with reflection for the black part and a alpha channel for the red part (like this *link*) or if i should use a clean red material for both..

And this model is from Forza Horizon, i maybe will use some parts from Forza 4 and Forza Horizon 2 too, and if possible i will rip some parts from some NFS (such as body kits, wings and mirrors) but it is not sure because is hard adapt a model from one game to a model of other game.

Use red 66 for both, (if I understood you good).

I know. But in this case, here's Shift 2 model (in Zmodeler2 format, as far I remember - if you need help, PM me)

Looks good! I'd recommend making some of those edges crisper with either the chamfer tool or smoothing groups - I use a combination of both that's not hard to explain to get nice, crisp edges - but, otherwise, that bumper looks awesome!

Thanks Harrison, i'll check it later.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All stock parts ingame (or not)
Here are some updates:
- 3 pieces rear bumper (body, the plastic part (maybe a diffuser?) and the reflectors)

- Openable fuel cap (idk if this is the right name of this part in english)

- Detachable antenna

- Stock rotating brakes with detachable calipers

- 2 pieces mirrors (not finished yet)

Nice work, on all of that! I'd be particularly interested in learning how the rotating brakes work; that's something I haven't heard of in SLRR.

By the way - just my personal opinion, but unless you're going to have many different variants (paintable, plastic, carbon fiber, smoked reflectors, etc.), it's probably not necessary to have the two-piece mirrors, nor three pieces for the rear bumper. I think single-piece mirrors, and two pieces for the rear bumper (the body, and then the diffuser and reflectors together), would work just as well.

Yeah, there's no need to do that bunch of parts - IMO, even if you want to do different variants (as Harrison said), it'd be better to just do the bumper with paintable part, bumper with carbon part, etc.

Thanks. The rotating brakes is a very simple thing, all who you need do is paste this:
linked 101
linked 102
linked 103
linked 104
under the render line in the cfg.

Sweet! I'll try that with the CMS Brakes, and also with some other brakes of mine if I do detachable calipers.

I have the R and the GT version too (from Forza Horizon and Forza 4 respectively), some parts of the GT already is in game xD

I used the same specular settings who i found with this materials *link* also the color and reflection can be easily adjusted since it uses a texture and not a solid material color

Chrome is not specular and gloss, its a combination of reflection, diffuse spec and gloss, your chrome is too "white". BB93s mods and mine use the "chrome" from SLR imo that the best way to go, it doesnt stand out and doesnt look obtrusive

It's been a while since my last post here
Sadly i have abandoned the Scirocco project because i lost it 3d files, but i still have it ingame so if someone wants to try it just pm me (just keep in mind that it have some problems and doesn't have any aftermarket parts and physics)

Some infos about that Nissan:
ingame:
-VSpec parts
-VSpecII parts
-Nismo S-Tune body kit
-Nismo Z-Tune body kit*
-Abflug body kit*
-Top Secret body kit*
-BN Sports body kit*
-Jun body kit*
-Rocket Bunny body kit*
-UTE chassis*
-a lot of small parts
-some experimental front swaps
-cool things that i can't remember right now but there's a lot of them
(* = unfinished or needs to be re exported)
I'm not sure if i'll do the GTT and the sedan chassis but I'll try to add as much parts as possible on this mod

Special thanks to BiggBoss93, Anderson Oliveira (*click*), Harrison15, KeeJay, Phonexius, Doge, Nabz (*click*), LossTuners workshop (*click*) and Street-King's Workshop

C20 is a proper engine. Loads in England. Popular swap for mk3 astras and corsa bs. Would love one but they got for daft money. LET is where it's at tho

Added 32 minutes later:

Also adnan will they be a stock version of the C20 and if so you should model the throttle cover that says SFI or for the LET turbo.

Tunning in brasil is expensive and kinda hated but that's the problem of trying to be an Car guy at the "Country of the Footbal". For example i you change your wheels for bigger one's you need to inspect the car and do a ton of burocracy. And because of these things the tunning is almost 90% EA287,Gm family 2 (including the C20), the 60-S chevy 250 I6 and Air cooleds. Everthing else is even more pricy and hard to find people that work on they.

About the Scirroco models, you can import the scx to zmodeler with the scx import plugin and the export to 3ds.If you use 3ds max 5 you can download the import max plugin and the you can continue your work.
And about the GTR you can make GTR R35 front end swap.

The foxbody front end does not fit the r34 very well (it is not impossible to fit it but it will require a lot of work so i'm not sure about it)
