So, you can make it just as a png pack to install it for yourself
But if you don't want to, I'd try Illustrator on my own |

Yeah, try it. It's very easy. Learned how to make these icons after watching 40 min tutorial video + googled some how-to's
Added 1 day later: ok so all stock icons are replaced: catalog icon is upscaled(from 64 to 128) because it is used in car catalog in bigger form. only 6 icons from MWM left Added 15 days later: attempt to convert engine sounds from FM4! no sounds where edited, all the magic is in scripts this is not final, i'll improve them more. Thanks for the support guys. Converting sounds from FM4 is going very well, better then i expected and it very easy, but it requires some irritating work.
Just made some new sounds for BB93 Alfa Giulia, i'll post a video soon. In a meantime you can try it yourself DOWNLOAD Added 1 minute later: uploading 150mb vid @60kb/s Added 29 minutes later: This post was edited by mindeliszz (2015-01-15 21:50, ago) |

The fact that you can't hear engine at idle. |

too bad haha
also what is "this"? Added 1 hour 43 minutes later: To prevent this thread from locking I'll show some stuff I'm working on RPK TOOL The basic idea is to make opening, reading and editing RPK files easier. Progress so far: classes and RDB parser, no major functionality. Planing to make automatic RPK<->RDB converter, UI to make editing easy and maybe a some kind of superid helper to convert RPK's from 2.2.1 to 2.3.0LE and vice versa. If you have any cool ideas, please write them down here. Here's working parser picture for you: This post was edited by mindeliszz (2016-01-10 23:14, ago) |

Looks good!
What about a function like the rpk creator but to add things in the rpk? You select the .scx, java and the cfg and then the program add it to the rpk and update the cfg with the new ids.. It will help a lot to make cars with a lot of parts xD |

I need some help from the modders or anyone who can do some research about RDB files:
Basically I need information about RES file typeof ids and the RSD file fields(which fields are mandatory, which are optional, ect.). Typeof field determines the type of the file(so obvious) and then the RSD file has some fields to it like "sourcefile" and "native". I would like to know more about those types. This info would really help me |

Typeof 5 - mesh
Typeof 7 - texture typeof 8 - script typeof 9 - click typeof 14 - render sourcefile are simply paths for files to pick for each id they're being used in rpk(meshes, textures). natives are usually cfg paths. script parts are usually compiled javas(.class files) if i missed something, don't blame me xD Added 2 minutes later: plus you'll need a special light render detector or some way to pick it up cuz there are a lot of parameters. |

Basic functionality done. This is just for testing purpose.
List of stuff it can do: *Open rdb/rpk file(automatic converting) *Very basic add/remove elements If you find any bugs please let me know. I'm aware of crash when deleting text from text box. DOWNLOAD .NET Framework 4.5 is required |

Hi. So after some time i decided to ditch the rpk tool because of IMO it's not worth the time. If anyone want's the code, I can share it.
Also another reason is this: This is a project for university. Lots of stuff needs to be redone, because when I started it I had no idea what I'm doing. If you guys are interested I'll post updates here. |
