I'm starting a new wip thread, because it's actually becoming a mod.
Still i can't promise simulation, but you can see in this video it's huge improvement over stock physics, though nothing in tyre.java was changed, only added if you want to try it, add these lines in tyre.java(i'll not tell where) |

Looks good man. Would be great if you could add some kind of force feed back, you can turn the wheel at max angle at any speed and this kinda gives an illusion that the handling sucks way more than it actually does.

Hey, GGGGGGGindeliszz! It looks good, but I have one question - in the video you drove it with keyboard or pad or steering wheel?

And then, Mindeliszz, can you make preview with some worse handling cars, like, hmmm, Skyline ER34?

Top Gear track, Stig wannabe!
In 0:20 you just went full retard understeer. Your fail or your physics? In 2:30 you spin out - that's because of grass or you've just used handbrake? |

bad news: that fix in the video above has a bug, so i had to remove it, though it still slips less than in stock physics.

Ive almost disabled shocks in my game (theyre that soft), thats how i got the bounce, but left them still having an effect so stiffer spriings and shocks both contribute to stiffening up the car and reducing bouncing and body roll. as my game stands you can almost completely remove body roll when using the stiffest springs and shocks from mistersirs kit, otherwise you'll still get a hint of body roll with even the stiffest baiern/emer racing suspension.
It's nice that you've worked out how to remove shocks from the game, but remember that they should exist, just by default they're way too stiff. oh, and because i'm involved with this project, i've got good news. The horribly fast response time and unrealistic vehicle movement that lacks fluency and often results in constant rolling over with the keyboard is long gone. |

Wrote 148 lines of code today for tyres It'll have external class file just for most of the functions, so i could release tyre.java. Anyways now i'm working on tyre pressure and other kind of calculations, but nothing to show yet.
