You can't. Use Max 5.1 instead.

You would be better off with Max '14 instead of Max '10 then... just download the paintable material that is here on vstanced and put it in the .max.
Also, what do you mean by ''mix table''? |

For paintable material - it mixes a texture of color and a transparent texture for something. It won't work without it (in SLRR).
