So currently i am working on a gta sa mod and i don't know how to properly attach a fully working in-game texture to the object...Any help,is it gta or 3ds related?
P.S. If you could find a tutorial/explain it to me (since i didn't found one)
(Sorry if i posted in a wrong section but since its 3d and gta related i didn't wanted to double post :D)

I know a lot about making guns or cars for San Andreas, so I may help:

Is it map part?

If yes, you need to make proper IDE and IPL lines for it, otherwise it won't work. Also, you need to make proper TXD - if I know right, map parts cannot use all compression methods.

Also, do you use proper materials (from Kam's scripts)?

If you are making little edits like that, I'd use Zmod2 (c'mon peeps, it's not that hard to use). Actually, I've made all my cars using Zmod2, way before I learnt 3ds Max. And making car material tags is easier too. Here you can look for tutorials.

No problem. You can always ask me about San Andreas modding.

Want part to be colorable like the rest of the chassis? I think I got my gta sa materials with dff plugin. Anyway, select the part (select polies you want to be colored) & then open materials window (but which 3DSMax are you using? This tutorial goes for the latest years versions) & select green (or pink part of the car as pink is secondary color) with material picker, then select the material in materials window. Right click it & choose "apply to selection" or something. I explained this from my own memory, but basicly it works like this. If you want to add something like carbon fiber, pick the material of the part you want to change. Then the material small box appears again in materials window. Drag & drop the carbon fiber image file into the materials window next to the material box, then connect a line (starts from a small circle on the side of the material/image box) & connect image to the material box's diffuse color or something. I'm pretty sure there actuslly are tutorials for GTA SA 3DSmax modelling, just search something like "how to make gta sa car part paintable in 3dsmax" or something.
I hope it helped you :)

Added 3 minutes later:

Fun fact: GTA SA was the first game I started making model mods for, for now I've made a lot GTA mods
