So I said I wouldn't buy another more cars, but I'm currently out of a good daily atm. 86 isn't insured, S14 is far too low now, and RMS13 is also far too low to daily. So I went to my friend's shop and picked up a car for $6000..I'm excited ;)

So last night I went to go pick up JdmSly at the airport, Fukushima was quite a drive from Nagoya but the new car held up really well.

This is a genuine RPS13, however with a 1JZ-GTE swap.

But hold up, it's LHD?

This car has an interesting story - an American bought the original Type X and shipped it over to California, but wasn't used to RHD so had it swapped over to LHD. He sold it a few years later to a Japanese person and he shipped it back over here, keeping the LHD conversion because LHD is rare in Japan. So, yeah.

Megan MR-S dual tip exhaust.

Got the Bork14 sitting pretty up front.

Rear is going to go a bit lower, but it's going to tuck rim for sure because I want the ride height to match all around.

Also picked up a nice D-Max roof wing for $300.

So instead of actually driving my proper drift cars, I decided to bring the daily all the way from Nagoya to Tochigi, to rip Nikko Circuit, a 4 hour drive. Nikko has always been one of my favorite tracks to rip other than Ebisu Minami or Higashi.

I picked up a set of spares from Lewis and made the long drive out on the plates off the other S13, and wasted no time getting as much seat time as I could, getting a feel for the 1JZ powerplant.

Multiple times during the day I dipped a tire off the track and picked up a wheel - at one point it was quite high up and all I saw was sky.

And at the end of the day on my last run, I ripped 2nd gear all the way through the pits, which made the track officials quite unhappy.

Needless to say, I had a ton of fun. Forgot how much fun it was to rip a street car with just over 350ps and a stock e-brake. Definitely going to look to widen it a bit, get a Cusco two-way, and generally just have a good time with this car.

And nothing was more satisfying than being able to drive home in the same car :)

Been a little while since I've been busy prepping for Matsuri this Saturday at Ebisu.

I've lowered the car much further on brand new 326power coilovers and Parts Shop Max steering knuckles and extended lower control arms for more angle, and Henry lent me his 17x9.5 XD9's to rock for this event since I'm so indecisive about what wheels I want to get. Also spray painted the rear section pink for lolz, gonna get rid of it because it looks baaaad.

Also got a hydro e-brake setup in the car now, dual caliper setup. Basically the stock handbrake is all I'm going to take out of the stock interior, save for seats and wheels. this is still my daily..

Thanks man! I have a tendency of stuffing cars into walls at Ebisu but I'll try to keep her off the wall ;) I'm liking the XD9's as well, I might buy them off Henry.

So I picked up these Koguchi Power front and rear (+70mm) fenders and I'm incredibly tempted to run them..

Would require some decent spacers as my wheels are +10 and +12 offset, but I'm thinking she'd look meaty. Only thing is, once I cut into the guards, there's no going back..what do you guys think?

Few days have passed - had a good Matsuri at Ebisu on Saturday. Car ran quite well all weekend long, I lent FamousMan borrow my 14 for the event. When i brought it home, I painted the overfenders.

My RMS13 has been neglected as of late - haven't driven it as much as I like, it sits in the shop currently collecting dust.

Spent all that time prettying it up but haven't properly even shredded it yet, what a waste. It's my baby though, will never go.

Been busy these few days with the 180. Gave the XD9's back to Henry and put on a set of Strusses that I have, 17x10 +12 all around.

I've been meaning to up the power a little since I'm running a mostly stock 1.5JZ setup with a Trust TD06 making 12psi, but I think I want to turn up a little. Pulled off the manifold and put in a parts order. New turbo setup should be here in two or three days, Up Garage normally delivers.

Then finally, I installed a Rocket Bunny ducktail that I originally had on my 240, but didn't like too much. I think it looks fantastic here.

Now, maybe I should get this thing registered..

Keep the Rocket Bunny ducktail on, it looks nice with the wide fenders. And i thought you would register the 240, because you did the shaken with it.
