Hey guys! As you know, Mikingo and i met with Phonexius and 3StyleLTU in Japan. We had a good time there but after a week we decided to try something different, so now we are in the USA to experience its diverse car community.

We found this nice garage in Ardmore, Oklahoma. We also like the location itself because it's close to Texas, lots of good cars are there so it's perfect for us. :D We brought some of our cars with us too, they will arrive at the end of the week. I think this garage has enough space for all 4 so we made the right choice for sure.

Right now we're looking for a daily, and if anyone will be around here let us know! :) See you next week when our cars arrive.

Oh finally, you guys are in America! Car scene here is amazing. Its very different than Japan (Im from there), here in the US, its all about style specific builds, in Japan its about creating your own style (which i prefer to be honest). Most people are nice, too.

Also, good luck with finding a daily! I suggest that you buy something that is over 2500$, or else, you will get scrap on wheels

We finally got our cars! Even if they were away only for a week i love to see them again, especially the R32. :-X

My Corrado is in pretty good shape, i just have to do some maintenance cause it was sitting for years. I'll probably be my daily for now, i just have to register it!

And this 200SX needs some work for sure, it doesn't even have an engine.

Today we also went to Ada to check out a 240SX that 3StyleLTU found. The seller says it needs some work but it can be a daily... kinda. :P
We'll make another update when we make a deal and bring it to our garage.

Thanks mate......
Well you will be able to guess from who I bought the car

So today all 3 of us went shopping....Lagano and 3Styles went to a town in Texas that was around 200 miles from our town, meanwhile me and mikingo boarded a plane and went to dallas there we mannaged to buy 2 cars, yea 2 vehicles :))

Lagano and 3Styles found a 1992 Nissan 240SX that was SR20 swapped a couple years ago. The 240 needs a paintjob, the cars exhaust sistem needs to be installed but luckely we got it inside of the car, the battery is located in the back and the car is missing half of the interior. The car costed V$2000, the future of the SX is in 3Styles hands.

Meanwhile lets move to Mikingo. Mikingo sold his MR2 in Poland to his buddy and he decided to buy a cheap project car so we managed to find him a cheap VW GOLF MK2 in Dallas via Craig List like we found the 240SX. The golf is a 1.8 Turbo and has got quite some miles on it. Body isn't in a really good shape but its good, it came whit JRC 16x10 rims on it and it got a clean interior, not to mention the car came whit coilovers for just V$1500...

Now the final peace of the cake.....
I went full murica on this move and decided to get my self a Pickup truck. A buddy of mine that lives a bit out of dallas saw a 1991 GMC Sonoma that was LS1 swapped in 2008. So afther we bought the Golf for Mikingo we head straight to the adress my buddy Denis gave me and the car wasn't hard to spot. Its RWD and LS swapped 8 years ago. In 2008 it had 280HP, god knows how much it lost over those years but for V$1250.The shape isn't that bad but it will do it purpouse as a work horse...Now enough of the talk here are the photos :

^ I have no idea what he will bring to the garage. :P And i'll try to use that pic as an envmap!

So today we stripped down the two S13s to prepare them for a respray. The 200SX (red) doesn't have the bumper and headlights cause they are broken, and the bumper is cracked. We're not sure what color should we paint the 200SX, but we'll see what 3Style will decide for his 240SX.

After that i got an idea for my Corrado. I took the taillights off and "smoked" them with some spray paint. Now it looks really good because the taillights fit with the middle part of the trunk.

I like the Corrado, but it's not registered so maybe i'll sell it and buy another daily. Well for now i'll roll in the pickup or the Golf. I wonder what Mikingo will do with it! :D

So afther finishing the stripdown on the two SX'es and tinting the tail lights on the Corrado I gave the R32 keys to Ziga and told him to go cruise around the town whit me.Afther a 15 minute cruise I told him to stop at our fav diner to get some coffe but what he didn't knew that there was a present parked for him.
The thing that I bought on Friday was a 1989 2 owner Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T, The car had 1 owner since 1989 till 2015 and 1 owner in the US till friday.

The car was imported in the states in January 2015 and it was daily driven. 1 year afther importing it the owner blew the original RB20DET engine and swapped it whit a SR20DET which was rebuilt befour instalation. The car originaly did 60 000 total untill engine blow and 3600 more miles afther the engine swap

The interior is in mint conditon and same can be said for the body, no dents and accident free car .

I told ziga about it 2 weeks ago when I saw it on eBay when it was put for sale but since we have some cars in the garage allready he wasn't quite interested (despite that he said "man I wish I could buy it") and since it was an auction on eBay I couldn't let it go away since Zigas B day was on October 8th and I was in Japan then and didn't bought him anything as a present so I bidded hard on this R32. The car ended up in my hands and the hammer price was V$9500 which wasnt that high.
The car was transported via train from NY and arrived here half an hour ago, strangely the rear plates were stashed in the trunk but we bolted them on befour we went to back to the garage.

Ziga is now happy and won't be staring the whole day at my R32 anymore and that makes me happy :)) :))
Mikingo and 3Styles went out for a beer or two so we will have to wait for them to return to tell them the news!!!!

SR20 is not so bad though... i think it will be even better for a daily! And it has enough power for some drifts, so i like it. :P
So now i have a good daily, if anyone wants the Corrado just pm me for more info!

On monday morning while having brakefast and talking about colors for the SXes a local approached us wellcomed us to the town and afther some talk we found out that he has a paintbooth and we will rent it for this weekend....The guys will negotiate whit him while eating!!!

Tomorrow we will tow a car 1 by 1 to the booth so that we can paint them paralel

Friday and today were really busy respraying the SX, thanks to a modern paint booth it speeds up the process. For now we managed to respray the SX and tomorrow we are starting to lay some paint on the Golf, afther that its the time for the SX

We towed all 3 cars to the shop and now we will tow the sx back to the garage and start assembling it (except me I go to sleep gotta do some more paint in next 4 days)....

I will inform you how much the paint costed us on Wednesday when I finish the respray and the paint booth owner tells us the cost of using it (Ziga negotiated whit the owner but he didn't wanned to finish it that night cause he needed to see how much time we need to finish)

Like Benjamin said, we were really busy for the last few days preparing our cars for a respray. 3Style's 240SX was already painted yesterday so today we assembled it and adjusted the coilovers, now it really looks better with R33 rims and the new colour just shines like gold!!

Golf was also painted today, we will bring it to the garage soon. Next up is 200SX, it will be painted in a couple of days. After that the pickup will get a new paintjob too, but for now we still need it to bring parts to the paint shop. So when all our cars will be painted we will find out the costs.

After all this work i went for a drive with my R32. Probably i won't change it much because it's a daily... for now. :D

My Corrado is still for sale, if anyone wants it!

As Ziga said, the golf has bean painted and now its on the way to the garage for assembly, its good to have a paint booth whit bakery it speeds up the prorcess a lot and the color was easy to do so its bean quite fast...Gonna go for a diner then on to a drive and time to sleep tomorrow the 200sx is getting painted!!!

Mikingo said that he wanted the golf white so we painted it in white such an easy color to lay on but its pretty as well..
The paint booth owner liked my painting skills and the speed that I done it and we spoke about the price of the booth rental.

Also he asked me if I could sometimes help whit painting cars when he is busy, ofc he will substract that amount of money from our next paint booth rental and I accepted the offer cause there will be more resprays and we will need a booth to do it, if we can get it cheaper that is good....

So here are the finance.
On all 3 cars we used base/clear coat, the paint for the 3 cars costed us V$1300 whit the misc stuff that we needed. Now to the booth rental, since it took me 6 days and since we are now friends he said V$150/d so V$900 for the 6 day rental, all in all total cost of the respray was V$2200 and not to forget V$50 for the R33 rims respray (they were purple in the past).... All in all I am happy whit the prograsse we are making and also we made a whole lot friends in this town since our arrival, also the car community here is huge for such a small place astonishing!!!!

We apologise for the delay on the update we were pretty busy on the phone whole day.
So I finished painting the 200SX towed it to the garage,

meanwhile in the garage the boys jumped on the Golf to assemble it whit the parts that we had and that we could find close to us as Mikingo wanted the car to look.

As you can see he choose to go whit the old bumpers and also we found a set of BBS Mahale 16x10 whit some decent tires for V$1500. I painted the stripes on the bumpers to match the rims, we also made a whole lot phone calls around the states and in Germany too.

In the next 10-12 days all the parts to assemble the Golf should be here. Our goal for tonight is to assemble the 200 as much as we can tonight and finish it tomorrow, then me and Ziga are going on a cruise around Oklahoma in his R32.

In the past few days we were thinking what to do and should we go to a track whit our cars and then Ziga got an idea, to buy 2 cars that are runing or close to runing and whit good susspension it doesn't matter if the cars are street legal or not cause we will tow them to the track on weekend. We found 2 cars, 1 car was 50 miles away from us meanwhile the other was 15miles out of Dallas, Texas. The 1st car that was 50 miles away is a 1987 Toyota Supra whit a 1JZ-GTE 5Speed manual.

The is a legal import from Japan a long time ago and it was daily driven till 3 months ago when it was garaged.
The car was resprayed 2 years ago and its in a decent shape, the car costed V$2500 and the owner said that the head gasket started to leak a little and the price is low cause of that. When we get to the garage we will pull the motor out and take it apart clean the parts and replace all worn out parts.

Also we bought the second car for V$2250, and it will be in our garage Tomorrow afthernoon, we called a tow company since the car dosn't have a engine in it, but its a rare car whit really good parts on it!

The car is compleat and its for sale Press here to see the ad

We spent a lot blood sweat and beers on this 200SX and I think it was worth it, the car looks amazing sadly due my bad history whit s chassis we are not keeping this one.

Here are some more photos of it.

A lot happened today, we sold the 200SX to DThug69 for V$7550, then I got a call from our buddy that owns the paint booth that next week he will need my help to respray 3-4 cars. I decided to use this opertunity to ask to sandblast and respray the Chevelle at his place (the car has a ton of surface rust dunno bout the inside)

I will sandblast the car and tow it back to the garage for metal work, I hope that there is no much rust to finish the car till friday we will see.

Here are some photos from the original car advert

And finaly the MK2 is compleat.....It took us a lot of phone calls and web browsing to find the parts mikingo wanted but it payed off big time...

First I will start whit the inside, after few calls to germany and a lot e mails we found a compleat MK4 Golf interior cheap, we though it was a scamm when we saw photos, but the seller told us that the interior was a replica of the R seats for the MK4 Golf.

The interior costed V$750, and it came from Houston, TX the seller delivered them to us.
Also we found a MK4 TDI PD110 engine that was chip tunned some time ago, and it produces around 120KW (The seller said so we still need to check it)
The price of the engine was V$1500

Now to the outside, Mikingo wanted a clean and wide Golf, so we went whit Doulbe lights grill, afthermarket rallye fenders and a lot more which I will list..

We went for the small bumpers whit double stripes, front bumper is EU spec, white indicators, lense headlights, red and white crystal tail lights, hood bra, lights "bad boy" stripe and gti grill stripes, GTD and VW badges.

Also I painted the stripes on the bumper and the GTI stripes in the same color as the rims.

All those parts costed us V$200
Now to the sweet part, VW Golf MK2 Rallye afthermarket fenders, we ordered those from Germany. There is one crew that is creating rare parts. The kit is 90% made of plastic while the places which are conected to the cars body are made out of metal so that the buyers can weld them on. Also we had to cut the fresh painted fenders (Lagano was sceptic about that hehe), we offset the rims, slammed the car, put some nice camber and I took the car for a test drive, it doesn't scrape, the wheels doesn't rub the wheel arches and there is a lot of contact between the rim and the tarmac. The Rallye kit costed us V$500 whit shipping.

Lets just hope that Mikingo wont travel on roads that are packed whit speed bumps

Also, the Chevelles metal work is done and I will primar the car tonight (took mikingos golf to test drive it and also get to the booth to primar the chevelle).
Afther that we are going tomorrow to sand down the R32 and get it ready for a respray (got bored of the black color) Also since I will be busy painting the Chevelle the boiz will be 1 man down and there is a lot of sanding to do on the R32. There are a lot of plans for us and we might even celebrate christmas whit Harrison :P

This morning Benjamin took most of the 1JZ apart and left it for me to refresh it, he is way too busy with painting the cars plus i have more engine building skills then he has. Today and tomorrow he will be painting the Chevelle, and in the next week he has to spray 3 cars for the booth owner, so painting our cars will be cheaper. Me and the boys will have to help him because now there's way too much work in the paint shop! I also had a few phone calls today to confirm some of his orders, yesterday he said he needs some stuff for his R32 so i hope it won't be expensive as hell!!!

The previous owner of the Supra told us that the head gasket is worn out, so we already ordered a new one for V$1100. When i saw the cylinder head i knew that we need new valves and injectors too, so i ordered these parts today.

As Ziga said I am pretty busy in the paint booth, but the Chevelle is done and will be going home for assembly, meanwhile I will stay in the booth cause my new job arrived. As said when we painted our 3 cars the paintbooth owner called me to respray 3 cars and instead to pay me I will be free of charge for painting the chevelle and 1 more car.
Afther a quick talk whit Ziga about the color he wanned it to be orange and so it is.

Well its quite late and the photos are a bit dark but more photos soon in daylight.

Ziga is pretty busy whit the 1JZ,hopefully he will finish soon.
Here are photos of the 2 out of 3 cars that I will paint in the next week

Sup all.
Afther I finished my working hours in the paintbooth for today I went to pickup something for Ziga in our pickup..

I found a LS2 364, actualy its missing headers, intake, radiator and few misc parts but that doesn't matter since its a blank canvas for Ziga.
The engine costed us V$300 and I just brought it back home, meanwhile the guys didn't allow me to enter the garage for some reason so I am taking the Sonoma and going for a drink.

Oh and the engine came out of a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino that is going to be parted out, so if anyone needs parts for a 1970 Chevy El Camino let me know I can speak whit the cars owner.

Thanks, now we just need an engine for the Supra. :)

While i was working on the 1JZ i got a message from Marcus that i can sell it to him. Some parts didn't arrive yet so i put it back together and sent it to Japan.

After i assembled the 1JZ i helped 3Style and Mikingo to sandblast the R32 and prepare it for painting. We took it to the paint booth, it will get a new paintjob soon. The Chevelle is still there too, because we have some more plans for it. On the way there our neighbor saw the Corrado that's for sale, he needed a daily so i think that was a good choice for him. We negotiated for V$4600, it's still a fair price so i'm happy with the sale.
