Could you please re-read the topic title, kthx.
press W to move the wheels. here's an old tutorial i made, pretty basic and straight forward, all you need to get your car working in game basically. *LINK* |

Not everything has to be SLRR centered; imo SLRRs skill can't benefit me that much.
Yeah from the 3D model with the correct wheel position there are some other tuts aswell, gonna check it out too. Thanks. I only got one wheel model though, how can I duplicate it? I don't have any tires either. Extracted LOD0; though I got a front mask that is overlapping (see first pic). I am unsure if I should delete it or not. What about textures? |

What KeeJay said^^^^
I suggest you to stop being a smartass ultimatestance anyway, back on topic, make a group out of the rims, and hold shift when moving, when copied shift+a with the move tool and click on the brake rotor. most of the time i just rip the tires from AC cars, because they look the best imo |

Oh. My bad, I thought the opposite

This account is pretty much dead, my wip is dead, gom (also dead) killed starquest and the hdd it was on died.
But BeamNG is getting a Jeep from me now, which is fun. IIIIIIIII |

small update, Renamed some things (for myself) and positioned the wheels. They have a huge wheel gap so I need to fix that. Aswell as the calipers, the brake rotors are already in position (forgot to select the calipers before moving, fuck me). And deleted some chassis parts underneath that aren't visible to lower polygons.
The wheels look kinda too small too... |

Question: How to import textures and so on? I don't know how. Extract from Forza Studio, but then?

# David_2709 : Not everything has to be SLRR centered; imo SLRRs skill can't benefit me that much. Well actually SLRR can teach you a load more about how a game works than any other game(as you can really see every single bit of how it is made). But besides, i'm curious to see how this goes, keep us updated step by step, please! |

How do I get some tires on there? Do I need to model them from scratch? Remcos tutorials says he didn't include the tires, so where do I get them?

yeh, ripped R34 GTR tires, they are too thin but let's just do SLRR fitment as I have no idea how to stretch them. Fixed some positioning with coordinates, rear wheels need to be moved a tad more to the rear.
waow I make so much progress |

Make sure to make the rim width like irl, using the measure tool.
select the tire -> vertices -> select half you want to move -> move dem |

fitted the tires, also measure tool doesn't show the length of the "cord"; only the different coordinates ._. Dummys are done too, now onto exporting the 3d files. Didn't knew AC had a mod importer build in. |

lol, long time no see. Gave up on the E39 but now I want to try converting again. Fucked up the grouping part of the rim and am stuck now trying to get the group right. The part is greyed out with grouping and unlinking every file doesn't do anything

never froze anything in the first place. I just created a group with 4 pieces of the rim instead of all 5. Then unlinked the 4 piece group to redo it again. Does not let me
