yeah, its a brake disk... all 3d, i dont like textured stuff
why you got so much polys in the 52? is a simple shape, i used only 1286 polygons(with barrel reach 1786)! |

Added 1 minute later: # Franco : i like my edges well chamfered, i use double chamfer in them...s**t... yours look very good... Added 2 minutes later: im still a begginer in this thing, i use 3ds only from december |

looks nice at first sight, but when you start too look at the model you start to notice a lot of bumps, most of them are because of the way it was modeled, you have to always try to get squares and triangles, not n-gons, that's what makes the bumps most of the time, i really don't know what kind of modeling technique are you using, but for game modeling i'd say study a bit of poly modeling, or even box modeling, seeing the wires you posted i think oyu are using splines, right?
this is how i would have modeled that rim, kinda, i made the drawing in paint |

well, keep modeling and skill will come alone!, i started modeling back in 2008, when i first knew SLR, i hadnt got a clue on 3d software, so since then i started to get the hand of it, and nowadays i can model low-mid poly rims

while you are at it, why not make it a bit bigger so it can be used as a 6cyl flat.
