Welcome to my SLRR thread! My main focus right now is to finish Toretto's AE86. I love the car, but I felt that there were a lot of things missing or not working properly, so I'm going to try and finish it.

As you can see here, the lights aren't positioned properly, and parts are missing, which really sucks.
The first beta had a lot of extra parts that weren't included, which would be nice to have, such as the bodykits and tinted windows. Personally, I'd like to have tinted windows!

A friend of mine is currently working on the hood, but if anyone would like to help, feel free to PM me! I could use the help.

Thanks for looking!

It is a great idea! You could also detach the cockpit and the rear interior parts....If you download SLRR by jack 2.0, you can find a fixed version of that car which, for example appears complete in the catalog....

Thanks JC! Yes, if anyone has beta 0.3, please upload it or PM me! Even if it doesn't have all of the parts I need, the cfg files would be useful!
@Tom: do you mean the carpet, or the interior trim that connects the seats to the doors? Also, could you provide a link to that copy of SLRR?

Here's some updates.
A friend of mine in the SA modding community that has collaborated with me with previous projects has offered up his help. His first contribution is one of three parts I need, the stock Levin hood.

While he was doing that, I managed to find the .cfg file for the Levin headlights. However, it has revealed a problem.

Unfortunately, Toretto didn't design the engine bay to fit both the Trueno and Levin, which means that the bay clips through the headlights. The only way around this is to edit the bay, as clipping like that isn't acceptable.

@Tom: JC is right, just the car will do. Unfortunately, the one Mark posted and the one in Jack's SLRR is 0.2. The hunt still goes on!

Added 22 hours 21 minutes later:

UPDATE: I think I found it. It's labeled as AE86Pack, and comes with the Levin. No pics are provided, but a comment says they're in "the studio", whatever that means. However, the file is down. Perhaps if enough of us badger the admin, he'll provide a mirror....

I Think I found the 0.3..

*LINK*

It has more parts like bumpers etc, but for example the interior of the doors is not dettached.
If you combine the two models, you will get the perfect one.
It may needs a better exhaust tip.

That could be the 0.1 beta with kits.

The one above was 0.1, as it didn't have the Levin front end. I'm kinda giving up hope that it's out there, as the only ones with it are probably NRT modders and they're not willing to cough it up unless they get some money which isn't going to happen. For now, I think scratching the parts is the only option. I now have a couple friends willing to help with the modelling, so we'll see what happens. However, until I get some meshes, I'm stuck. The Trueno kits are crashing when I add them to the .rpk file.

I have/had one with the Levin headlights although they "spawned" inside the car...

But it's "stamped" as "VIP" ..

Does it have the Levin bumper, grille, and hood? That's all I need. Well those, and the .rpk file.

I think it only has the headlights and fenders.. the rest of the Levin front (full with lights/bumper/hood) i think only JDW people have. (Or just Toretto)

I have the VIP version(I can't say how I got it), but there's no Levin parts. For now, I'll just have to work on the Trueno, and finish the Levin afterwards. I've got two ways to go: I can add the new parts to demo 0.2, or I can add demo 0.2 parts to the version I received today. Any suggestions?

I'd finish the Levin, but I need a front bumper and grille for it first. For now, I'm just focusing on the Trueno.

I know my way around ZModeler, but I have no idea how to use 3DSMax. I'm currently looking through SA models, so hopefully one will pop up.

I've started working with the version I acquired today, mainly because it has the detachable exterior sections that tom_drift requested, and because of the extra tuning parts such as the strut bars and gauges.

Which brings me to my noob question of the day: I have to add the exhaust pipe, but adding it into the .RPK(I added it to the bottom of the list so I didn't mess the load order up), but it's not showing up in the menus. Any advice?

Couple of levin SA models.
First one
second
The last one and i think this one is the best one

Take a look if you did the java and cfg the right way, plus take another look at the rpk to see if you have some identical type ids, which may be the cause of not showing it in game.

DERP. I didn't even think of the .CFG and java! I'll do those when I'm home. It should work correctly if I do those up.

As for those SA mods, they unfortunately have a Trueno front bumper, the same one that's being used in the mods I have, and they don't have a grille. The dude that made the hood is currently working on the parts I need, they should be done in a day or two. In the meantime, I'm going to try and work on getting the Trueno finished.

Added 11 days later:

Almost ready for a release, but I'm looking for someone that has experience with 3DSMax and/or scripts. Anyone willing to help will be my beta tester, and will have access to the SA and/or IV port of the AE86 when it's done. If you're interested, PM me your Skype name/MSN address and we'll go from there.
