Here's the latest update in case you ain't bothered to roll back one page:

# Soju :

I guess it's finally here. Sorry for a month-long hiatus, since I was busy with the projects abroad, which involves KS guys from Japan and the StS guys from USA, which was a pretty epic experience!

Don't forget to check out the awesome threads by them! It pretty much covers everything we've done in a few weeks.

While I was away, I requested some major overhaul to the Supra which was collecting dust in the ST garage for weeks to Mr. Lee.

Of course he said the things will be done as you requested, and here it is-

All the carbon front-end, except the hood was all painted with a new coat of OEM "Renaissance Red" which this car once was before.

I didn't like the paint being covering more and more, which was quite critical to the weight.

So basically the Supra was all taken apart, and stripped, and repainted with a new finish. Pretty labor-intensive job, but it does worth it.

Also, as you can see, the racing mirrors has been replaced to Ganador ones for sleeker look. It was pretty hard to find so I had to pay a little more.

Speaking of carbon hood, the aero catch on the hood started to malfunction (probably warped?) and didn't yank properly.

I took the whole catch assembly off and decided to go more orthodox, with a racing hood pin. I just hope this won't bug me a lot in the future.

The Panasports has been taken out, in with the TE37SLs in the storage with the tires still intact. Still have to check the full alignment tho.

Mr. Lee and 11K was checking out the result of the Supra when 11K and I came back from a pretty long trip.

The rear trunk catch was also replaced with the identical ones from the hood. Consistency matters.

All the decal jobs on the side doors were removed unfortunately, but I prefer this cleaner look with a bright color choice.

Good news is, the R34 is now officially registered and the plates will be installed in coming week. I will cover about it next time.

Stay tuned for more updates :)

I used to have a red Supra so i know it always looks epic! Yours looked so mean with all the bare carbon but now that it's all resprayed it has more of a street car vibe, really matches the red lug nuts and stickers on the wheels too. Also thanks for the help and good times when you and Smoke visited our place. ;)
Last but not least, congrats on the thousand posts bro!!! :bananajump:
