B U T ... theres a reason!
So on this exact weekend I was going to visit the boys and girls at TEC ARTs because I needed some last parts for the 4A-GE that is going into the Mark II - I actually thought that rebuilding the whole engine a bit might be a nice idea and.. it kinda went more extreme that originally planned. You're gonna see soon enough what I mean. But yeah I was on my way to the 86 guys...
 When I arrived, I entered the shop, spoke a bit with Kamata-san and his brother (the owners of TEC-ARTs) and got a little tour through the whole shop. Suprisingly enough its not really that big but the place is absolutley filled with several types of 86s and S-Chassis. Kamata then told me to follow him to one of the lifts in the courner and asked me if I might know someone that would want a "quickly" restored Levin.. I went ahead and took a good look at it..  And there it was - a 1987 Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 Kouki, freshly restored by the 86 gods. Apparently this was one of their test vehicles before but it was involved in a crash where the front suspension got destroyed and the old engine seized because parts of the oil and cooling system got damaged. So the redone the whole front end and pulled in a relativly low mileage 16v 4A-GE Blue Top. Other than that and the 14 inch Silver Watanabes they've added - This thing is stock.     He made me an offer since he noticed that I obviously was interested myself... aaaannnndddd .... yeaaahh....  SAY HELLO TO OUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER !!  Yap. I'm finally an owner of a real AE86! And that just for 8.000V$! Sure it has repaired damage, but that just helps me to not feel bad to actually do some stuff to it, even tho I have HUGE respects for the TEC ARTs brothers because of their car building skills. Hell yea. |

Wew boi, low-mileage AE86! (Even if it has been crashed)
 Congrats on the purchase! What are you going to do with it? Speaking of Mark IIs, in my RP I got a friend that has 2JZ-GE inside his Mark II. Or Merc II, since he did a Merc front end swap. Feel free to check out if you're interested
