my stupid VWhi! i didn't even know this section existed to be honest, and idk if my car is worthy of its own thread but i figured i might as well throw one up here.2008 VW Golf City (ignore the obnoxious stickers, these photos were from last year and the car no longer has them!) This is my first car, unfortunately is automatic, but its a six speed and very fast shifting, not to mention a transmission swap is in the works this summer. Bought it bone stock in June 2016, and enjoyed the shit out of it till May 2017, when I bought BC's and Advan Model 5's. The Advans were damaged because in their past life, they were used on a C33 Laurel as drift spares. Then I decided to run a mismatch for fun - Work Emotion T7R (bought new from Japan!) And after smashing my oil pan a couple of times I raised it up an inch, which is where its sat for now. I got my license suspended in January, but will get it back the coming Monday, so I had three months to try out a stupid idea. Cut open my stocks to build myself a set of full clears, and I got the final product today! Basically brings me to the point that its at today. I'm getting blast pipes built which should be fun, but here is my weird Canadian spec MK4.5! Hope you enjoy, and I'll try to update this whenever I do things. |

It was for south america only and later(not too much time after though) also for canada.
Btw, you should reinstall the reflectors, it is dangerous to drive without them, otherwise looks good. Added 51 seconds later: ps: have you had to use adapters or the wheels have the same pcd as your hubs? |

# Adrian1099 : Looks good, but can it get a motherfuckinuuuuuuhhhhh..... straight pipe I actually got an exhaust done today! 2.5 inch pipe from the cat back, dividing into twin 3 inch shotgun pipes. # holeecrab : where's tina tina is still around and the kemono friends stickers are still there, i didn't remove the peekers # Mikingo : kemono friends sticker where are they !!!!!! kemono friends sticker is still alive!!! but thank you it means a lot <3 # skip : How did you do the clear tails? Wanna do it to my E46 for extra cool points. I've also never seen a Golf city irl either, must've been exclusive or smth I attached a couple photos to the main post, but I heated them up then cut them open, and the way my taillight is, is a chrome plastic base with red plastic under a clear lens, so I pulled the red plastic off and sprayed over the chrome with a metallic silver spray paint. Then I sealed them back up and threw red LED bulbs in for brake lights. Golf City only came in Canada, but the body style came in Brazil and South America as well. # MACKAY : If I am right Golf City's were only for Canada market, am I right bois? Yes sir! But the same body style was offered in South America as well. # Bigg Boss93 : It was for south america only and later(not too much time after though) also for canada. Thanks BB! I'm going to put a red reflector on the bumper somewhere because I don't want to go through the trouble of cutting open my taillight again, but I agree its a bit dangerous. And I used 5x100 --> 5x114.3 adaptors/spacers to run Japanese wheels since this car is 5x100. Exhaust today! 2.5inch from the cat back into twin 3 inch blast (ish) pipes. Soundclip when it isn't shitty weather out but it sounds goooddd This post was edited by marcus915 (2018-04-13 21:44, ago) |

It's definitely an opinion divider but I like it a lot. Hung out with some Honda friends today. Getting a frame notch and motor mount spacers put in tomorrow so I'll be going maybe an inch lower all around. White hatch has a B18B1 and silver coupe has B18C Type R motor.
