More than you can count, pal. :P

No, seriously...

That said, more parts are currently still planned and not done yet.

38 MB :P

It's actually not that large because I re-use textures pretty carefully in a lot of places. If I redo the interior with better textures, it will probably come out bigger.

Factory option (Nismo? Navan?) front lip for R33 GTS S2. This replaces the old, low-quality version of the same one.

Thanks!

Decided to smooth out the GTS rear fenders, because it was bothering me that they were so bumpy. Took about 3 hours.

I sure did! I've also been working on the tail lights, so that they have specular and look nice in different lighting. I'm redoing all of the lights, basically.

I didn't. The AO is done by the NVidia card, and was set up with NVidia Inspector.

I saw your comment on GOM must try that. I massively failed trying to use the FM4 defrost line on RPS13 (prior to finding your morsel of advice).

The trick didn't really work that well on window glass, as far as I thought. (My defrosters all still flicker.) Maybe I should try it for that too?

If you want to give the time to do so, if not no worries. I know what's it's like to have time constraints, especially during week days.

You should do it "3d"(read: flat 2 sided poligon stripes) with a solid texture.

That's really the only and best way to do it. :)

Use a tga/dds/png with alpha channel(i suggest the first two formats) as diffuse and opacity bitmaps, then;

Set the diffuse bitmap as:

Mono Channel Output: RGB Intensity

Alpha Source: None(Opaque)

And opacity bitmap as:

Mono Channel Output: Alpha

Alpha Source: Image Alpha

Make sure to NOT instance the bitmap from diffuse to opacity(or viceversa) because otherwise it will... instance the bitmap setup from one to the other. ;)

This is exactly what I do. Except, I also draw transparent squares of solid color on empty areas in the texture, so that I can map solid-colored glass to them.

May have to do that - it would be some work, but it might be worth it. Thanks!

Wouldn't be that simple for an end user; I haven't actually textured the whole interior to use anything but the small squares that are normally in use with Forza. That's still on my to-do list.

Using plain textures (like in that Gamemodels' pack), and some quick box UV mapping, whole interior can be done in less than 30 mins, if you have separated materials already.

Yeah, I know. I have no excuses except laziness and having other things to do. >_>;

Part of it is I want to make sure I get the vinyl/leather/whatever right, so I've been looking for pics. Aki @ www.r33gt-r.com has been my source for most of that.

Additionally, I might try to set it all up properly so that it could be imported into TDU2, including custom interior colors, if someone were so inclined. (Or I might have to try that, myself.)

Anyway... The final Realism Mode headlight update (before glows, anyway) is coming ;)
