Hey y'all! I just figured I'd make a thread to "show off" my absolute unit of a vehicle--this 2009 Mazda 3 Sport.

It's a piece of shit but I'll be damned if it doesn't put a smile on my face. My mom bought it brand new in 2009 and after my dad inherited an NC1 Miata, and she got a bigger car for work--the poor Mazda sat and over time most of the wear items began to deteriorate, and eventually, the connecting rod in cylinder four decided it wanted to visit the outside world and punched a hole in the block. So, we dropped another 2.0 from a donor car into it and that was that. The car still had a plethora of problems, and it was passed along to me. I've replaced a vast majority of the running gear components over the past while so for the time being the car is in decent mechanical condition assuming my fifth and third gear synchros don't get any worse than they already are. I had this crusty 2001 Corolla before the Mazda aswell. 5speed manual with a clutch that probably resembled a chocolate glazed donut and an oil-hungry 1ZZ-FE.

Anyways, without further adieu--here's some photos of my Mazda over the past little bit. Currently it's straight piped from the cat back, sitting on Eibach Sportline springs, and some unknown 15" RTX wheels. Makes about three wheel horsepower ;)

That was when I broke through some ice in the conservation area and had to be rescued by my friend's Durango (not pictured).

I was considering one of these but it ultimately fell out of my budget. Not sure about your side of the Atlantic but they hold a price here!

There's this sick one in my area. Not sure what you're going for, but this would be my perfect Mazda 3. :D

Mine isn't a Speed3 so it's pretty worthless ahah...

That red one is straight fire though, looks like a Speed3 or 3 MPS depending on what they're called over there.

uhhh uhhh i bought another car

so yeah this is my '98 civic dx hatch :^)

it's got a d17y7 with a 5spd s40 transmission. the seller was a bit of a crackhead and demonstrated the limited slip diff to me by doing a massive burnout in his apartment complex parking lot. but hey, if he trusts the car to do a burnout starting by reversing at 30 km/h and slamming it into first--I think I can trust it too (i hope)it needs some tlc but im willing to get that all sorted out. Might need a new subframe but it came with literally everything to get that done (subframe, control arms, etc. it's pretty much the entire front end from another civic)as well as a rust hole on the rear quarter attended to. It came with some random parts like a z6 vtec head, catless header, cold air intake, and some other random odds and ends like some 15x9 wheels with bald ass hankook ventus tires that are wayyyy too wide for the car as the barrel of the wheel touches the control arm lmao.

i'm pretty excited to dive into this project. im either going to do the vtec swap ORRRR sell the vtec head and go for a non-vtec turbo build. idk yet
