I just got back into SLRR after struggling with it a few months back and here is my record of defeats
-got SLRR exhaustive, worked great, looks beautiful, bunch of content, however I quickly realized there is not much mod support, so i ditched it, as I wanted to download the airbags mod and several others -downloaded several copies of 2.2.1.MWM and tried to copy the content from SLRR exhaustive over, but this was too tedious, and many of the mods didn't work WHAT IM LOOKING FOR> stable SLRR version with a decent amount of injected cars and parts, but with additional modding capability This post was edited by zav (2019-07-17 17:50, ago) |

SLRR Exhaustive isn't the best for modding, in fact it's on the limit of what can be done with SLRR. Also the mods there are modified to work with the Exhautive only. Most of pre-modded SLRR version are done in similar way. So if you want to have the best SLRR modding experience, get BBSLRR 2015, apply the latest patch and then collect the mods for yourself. Just make sure to test your mods and use these, which appear to not break your game. Sadly, many of the desirable mods, like for example Thyago's S13 aren't the best quality, even though they are used by many

I use Holy Shit Man words and add to them, intall SLRR Exhaustive Bits over BB93's SLRR 2015 patched to 2018 and you get some of the main stuff of the SLRR Exhaustive which are the Reshade and more stable and faster .exe

OK thanks yall im working on that right now... one last question, should most mods from L93's version be compatible with the version yall have described too me? Im only wondering because I would like to take some shortcuts instead of having to hunt for mods one by one
Added 18 minutes later: Also the combination of the 2018 patch and the Exhaustive bits yield this error !Script error Thread: THRD-CREATE Error: Thread::evalName: null.methodcall() java.game.parts.Part:createFromFile (line:117) java.game.Vehicle:load (line:494) java.game.MainMenuDialog:show (line:204) java.game.MainMenu:enter (line:23) java.game.GameLogic:changeActiveSection (line:828) java.game.GameLogic:<init> (line:360) java.game.Init:<init> (line:24) This post was edited by zav (2019-07-18 01:58, ago) |
