OFF TOPIC: Due my computer continue same problems as yesterday, so I have to upload other short-updated, likely it will be Part 1.5.
I'm apologise about it, my computer use be fine before but now, it kept doing weird thing happening.

The return of godzilla.
Part 1.5 of II.

Part 1.5: That so cheap high-mileages Skyline?!
Date: Saturday.

Great news! The insurance company asking me 8,000 V$ is okay for me but I said no, so I did sent proof of receipts and my builds to them, and they understood why I said no, they are happy to offer the final price is 20,000 V$. Bit loss, but better than nothing. I accept it and they did automatically adding into my bank.

Yesterday, I was reading the newspaper and I looking at car sales page, I notice high-mileage Skyline have cheap price but it have over-heating problem and most garage have give up solving the problem. I could give try to fix it, I think garage may don't checked head block, I could take out head from my old RB25DET, if scrapyard allowing me to remove head, since it have modifeld RB26 head. I been cut out and hide their contact details for personally protection so I can show you.

Bit out of price range, but I could ask them 20K V$ with my old R33's GTS S2 front end, that laying around my garage and I was going to sell it next week, but it better what is your thought about it? Sadly, that R33 are non V-Spec, that why it is cheap.

I done research they about same price range;
(Just click it, they have link with it.)
1 - NISSAN SKYLINE GTR 1997 (23K V$)
2 - NISSAN SKYLINE GTR 1997 (12K V$)

Also, I notice V-Spec version use be around 32k but non V-Spec are cheaper.
Should I get it or nah, let me know. :)

Part II will be out, after my computer is fixed.

Wallet;
Before total price ~ 1,723 V$
Paycheck! ~ + 470 V$
Insurance cash ~ + 20,000 V$
After total price ~ 22,193 V$

Ayy man glad that you got some insurance money back :bananajump:
I think you should go for it, i think 2nd one is in better condition - te37's, custom exhaust and coils. Nontheless they both are a good deal for gtr-s.

The return of godzilla. Part II of II.

Part II: Did I owned GTR?
Date: Sunday.

If you're miss Part 1.5, just stroll up top part of page, to see what car that I have revealed already. You should check out, if you're miss it.
I given call guy who owned white R33 GTR with overheat problem, we are agreed time and dates to view Skyline R33. I arrive bit early, and I enter his tofus shop, and greets him. He given me key, and he said; "I'm bit busy around my business, have good look the car". I replied, "I will, mate".

I takes my time and inspecting underside, bonnet and engine bay. I was shocked, I can't find anything wrong with it, all the fluids is cleaned (apart coolant problem). That R33 was damn mint condition, it high mileage but good looking after. I seen mostly high mileage motor, that need loves and tired, but R33 is different and it look like new.

I was happy enough and I insert the key and turn on, engine started nicely, running smooth and quiet then I give bit revs after warm up. I can't hear weird noise around it. I taken to test drive, brake and suspension felt good and tight but the tyres felt less grippy than I was expect it. I could see white smokes as well, which is it mean the water is inside of engine combustion chamber.

I parked next his business shop, and I enter...

R33 Seller: All finished?
Me: Yes.
R33 Seller: Come in, and we will chats.
Me: Alright.
Enters his house and knee on the floor.
Me: Explain about coolant problem?
R33 Seller: Garage did inspected radiator, hoses, thermostat housing, and water pump. Head gasket was change about two year ago.
Me: Alright, I notice engine wasn't original?
R33 Seller: Previous owner done changed the engine.
After bit boring chats and lots questions later...
Me: I have to lower the price, I thinking 18K V$?
R33 Seller: No, too low. Full price or nothing.
Me: 20k? I have R33 S2 GTS front end, bumper, hood, headlight, and grill, I could add that deal. That front end, I was going to sell next week.
R33 Seller: 20k with R33 S2 GTS front end? I take that.
We are handshake and sorting out the paperwork.

4 hours later...

My R33 is finally at home, and I used tow instead driving myself for reason. I have done give her wash, polished and waxed, her paint and interior look like right come out of car showroom. I know why about overheating problem, I think the head is bad, case water jacket hole become bigger due corrison that head gasket cannot not to longer sealed it. That why,m I was thinking, because head block water jacket hole become bigger that enough to pass head gasket seal into cylinder to make white smoke out of exhaust. During way to my home, I been phone call to scrapyard where my engine from my old R33, sadly they cannot accept to having the head remove, they want completed engine, not half engine. I have to ordered head block and head gasket sets, when I have time to do it.

Anyway, I did taking photo after I washed her. Is it she shiny like news? You can tell, she is mints conidition, I was impressed, she is 900K Km on clock but she been looking after very well. Did I bought perfect High mileage GTR? Oh, I forgot mean to, she are not V-Spec version, and she is 100% standard but won't be long for first modified in the future.

Now, I'm going to lay low bit so I can doing my owned small garage, it kept running smoothly, but I would repair overheating problem.

Wallet;
Before total price ~ 22,193 V$
R33 GTR ~ -20,000 V$
After total price ~ 2,193 V$

Fresh home, fresh start.
Date; Friday 27th September

I was fairly busy, my work and moving to the new house, but finally the RP update are here!
I haven’t got time to taking the engine head off because I was packing items for moving to the new house, so I use compression tester and inspection camera. I remove spark plugs cover, coil and spark plug. I noticed spark plug at third cylinder have wet condition, which is it wasn’t good. I tested all cylinder compression, third cylinder is showing problem. To save myself time, I used inspection camera equipment, very handy. That allow camera going into cylinder without taking head off. I inspected third cylinder, I noticed it have cracked damage. I was amazed myself, other garage done shit job for changing head gasket without noticing crack was there.

So, I need new engine to replace cracked damaged RB26DETT, I don't have money for it so I'm saving up.

After sort out of new house with my girlfriend, and I am currently living in Tokyo and I have different jobs, I give my business garage to someone, because I do not want to travel 2 hours forward and come back, so I work at the supermarket shop.

I have ordered front grill and Hakosuka GTR badge 4 days ago, the badge was in bad condition, the red paint was flaking off and chrome is less shiny, so I given bandage perfect restore it, and the result is, they look way better, fresher, also save money for buying better condition. I only paid the good price for front grill without badge and Hakosuka GTR badge, 210 V$ but add 10 V$ for restore material.

So what plan next…?

Unfortunately, R33 will be out of action at the moment due to shortage of cash. Yea, that totally sucks, but at last I keeping her. Speaking of, I have planned R33 get back on the road somewhere in January 2020, so I have enough time. I need new early winter beater vehicle, maybe Toyota Corolla, or something…

Oh, I forgot, I am given my R33 new nickname is White Knight. I thought it was perfect nickname.

Credit: Give a big shout out to Franklin for giving me advice for improvement about my RP.

Wallet;
Before total price ~ 2,193 V$
Paycheck ~ + 565 V$
R33 front grill ~ - 200 V$
Hakosuka GTR badge + restore ~ - 20 V$
After total price ~ 2,538 V$

Duuuuude!
Those pics look nuts!
And, what a sad new of the broken rb, but hey, 900.000kms in an rb26, it proves that they are reliable as hell, if you take care, sadly, last owner didn't.
I can find you a used RB26 for about 5 grand and you bolt it on the old tranny with a new clutch and flwheel.
But you need to save 2500$ more lol, so, whenever you need the engine, hmu

(oorp : Duuuude, you need to fix that fitment, that wheel is so tucked in that i'm sure that half of it is in the trunk lol)

That R33 looks pretty good. Have you considered moving the Hakosuka badge to the side of the grille?

(OOC: remove Hakosuka badge, put regular badge in the middle, put Hakosuka badge on next, remove regular badge)
