i was thinking.. :) the mod was started ages ago and now your expectations are big for it but in reality it isn't all that it could be back then when it was started :O :) so now its a bit "old" in many ways..

instead of finishing it as whole i was thinking of simply releasing a car as addon every month or so so you lot can get your "food" and i can say "hey it got released" this also includes bits like textures, garages, tracks, paint job files etc etc.. so instead of starting all over again with a fresh game you will be able to simply build "your own" slrr by adding the mods you want and keeping the game your way :)

what do you lot think? are you prepared to wait - not even sure how long or do you want a car one a month for the next ~year from slr_fm3 mod?

realistically this is more "real" since i could release a car each and slowly build it all up into one mod and release it later as "Full" product

but its kinda sad to see those cars sit and wait their turn.. obviously it will not be exciting to get the full thing in the future but its one way i can be sure the mods will get some use by you lot.

cars will also be made to be addons so you won't have to replace your current stock slrr cars!

so what are we thinking here? good idea or not?

If you ask me it's better to wait till you finish everything cuz we waited long for it and it will be a bad idea to release it all as an addon

I think is an good idea, but when you finish the whole mod, you release the final product.

imo, both suggestions are good, one by one and its whole fm3 mod, or wait and you get whole per one time.. :) dunno bout other guys, but i can wait, better to be done as it should, than one by one.. :)

Good thinkig. Releasing car by car, mod by mod, maybe you will get some testing by user's, feedback and happy community, until your full mod is going to be finished

the biggest problem with that is that a lot of modders don't bother sorting the scripts out which means that with my modified physics cars will jump around in the garage and will be undrivable(for e.g. robbans volvo)

there's a work-around for this but it takes quite a bit of time to do and i would need to do it for all of the cars i have made :) and this is only one problem i have found.. there could be more because of lazyness/betas etc.. :) easy fix on robbans volvo but the others will be harder

U know that in here we have a lot of good modders, who knows how to.
So one idea by me is.. ask for a sorted team that would like to help you out with the rest of work.
Than i think is not such a long, hard job to finish the FM3 mod.

imo,i think the one by one mod gotta be more awesome like the FM4/FH that they release new car packs every month
also it's good idea cuz some people don't like the same cars ;p (for example, someone may don't want a specific car on his slrr.)
Ehm...mmm I like Forza! (and BeamNG)

sounds nice doesn't it? but no, not going to happen :) simply put the mod was started by me diego and franco and if not me and my wish to finish it, it would already be dead! i will not be getting people to work on it since i had to re-do a quite a bit as there was 3d files that got lost etc etc.. at this stage - 85% its better for me to do it on my own instead of getting new people help me :)

the mod-a-month thing in my eyes is good enough, once im done with that i will hopefully have finished the rest and release it as one full fm3(which funnily now has been renamed to slr-forza) pack/game and be done with it :)

I hope you´ll get the specs right for the Koenigsegg´s engine and so on with performance. Good luck!
