So, I got the engine fitted into the S13, and got the bodywork for it... ITS FAST AS FUCK!!! 0-60 in 2.009, quarter mile in 7.9 @ 204 mph, for the first run ever that I've done on the car...

It does wheelies with no issue

Just under 700 hp

Also, someone mentioned the Silverado was torquey, heres a pic to prove it :D Full out throttle maxed in 2nd gear, and look at that flex!!

I also managed to snag the 440 parts for the Cuda, and installed them and sent the car off to paint while I worked on the S13. I got the car back, and just need to fit the engine now for it to be complete. I want to get slightly larger tires for the rear because they look REALLY puny. The color came out PERFECTLY, just how I wanted it to.

So, took a bit of lifting to fit the engine, and the people who painted the car painted over the engine mounts, so we had to take the engine back out, sand down the mounts, clear the screw holes, and put the engine back in. Tried to start the car, and forgot about putting gas into the tank, so we were standing around, looking over the carbs, the fuel pump, water pump, all of it, and then someone looked at the gas gauge. it was a real OHHHHHH moment, because we spent 10 minutes trying to fix a perfectly fine car. Filled the tank, turned the starter and it went whirrrrrrrr VRUMMM bumbabumbabumbabumbabumba. Purred perfectly like a kitten. She's ready for the streets. I'll take Fred with me to get pics of her on the road.

Wow, that Cuda is amazing... We took it out to the desert, and got some nice shots of it. I had her up to about 130 before I backed off. That was only in the top of 3rd gear, it still has one more whole gear, and it was pulling HARD. The desert was really hot today, so I was happy to have that A/C. The engine stayed at a perfect 100 degrees, constant for the entire time we were there.

(Also, who's exited for the new SLR type game?)
