Mister_Softee you don't have to wait much longer! Today I have purchased the powerplant that will go into this little project. As you guys may know, I drive an Fr-s, and I've in the past owned a Supra. I wanted to keep on with the Toyota tradition, so I scooped up a 2UZ-FE for V$750 right here in California! This one in particular is out of a 2003 Toyota tundra. here are some specs on the make up of this engine:
In Preparation for this swap, I Have also ordered a Collins Performance Technologies UZ to 350z transmission adapter plate (V$300). I'm am going to be working on the swap at Green Slip Automotive Collison, So if you are in the area and want to take a look first hand just drop on by! We are working on transporting the engine now, and since I live right down the street, I've already rolled the Z shell down to the Shop. I will Update when the engine gets here. |
