Wow, even just scrolling through and seeing that car makes the hair on my neck stand up now.

Those who know me already know; I called them and such.

Now, it's time you all know as well.

For the past few days, it's been raining pretty damn hard in the Los Angeles area.

As such, the roads have gotten very wet, and all around shitty.

I was on the onramp for the 405, and going a smooth 50mph.

A car was speeding up in the far right lane, and I decided to gun it so I could make it onto the freeway before them.

Big mistake.

Switching lanes, my rear end came out, and there was nothing I could do as I hit the wall front-left corner first, then slammed the entire left side against the wall hard enough to make the rear bounce back out towards the freeway, the hood latches breaking.

Note how the front right wheel is straight, and how this one is turned out to full lock.

Not seen is the puddles left by the ruptured brake lines and all.

After the car stalled and finally stopped, I opened my damaged driver's door, stumbled to the guard rail, and heaved over the side.

The left headlight was nowhere to be found; I guess the impact was enough to shear it's mounts, and toss it over the side. Maybe I'll find it and mount it as a souvenir. Maybe I won't.

All in all, I guess you could say I should have expected it, the car being named 'Widowmaker" and all. In any way, I'm just happy to be alive with no injuries other than a sprained wrist.

Finances:
I'll do this when my hands aren't shaking.
