Homage...

-✔ Whassup homies ! So , first of all , I'd like to thank all of you guys who supported me and said really kind words about me or my cars. I really appreciate it and I wouldn't have gotten here without you guys , thank you ! Alright so , I guess you could say that I haven't slept this whole weekend , and I have a very good reason for that. So , after dropping the R33 and the ER at the paint shop , I ordered all the other parts I needed to finish the R33 and man , that was a lot of money-spending. My goal was to actually finish the R33 before Monday and that's where the no-sleep team came into play. As I said , big thank you to everyone , especially MACKAY , because without him the R33 wouldn't have been finished right now. I can say that I kept MACKAY and pretty much all the other guys at the shop up the whole weekend because I needed their help in order to finish the R33. Anyways , the R33 will be shown later in the update , but let's just focus on the smaller things first and leave the best for last. ✔-

-✔ So , as you can probably see , the ER finally got refreshed with a very nice new paintjob. The color is a Skyline color , some of you already know what it is , but yes , its Millennium Jade. I didn't want to go with something crazy on this car because I wanted it to look as classy and sporty as possible , and I'd say that I've successfully acquired that look. It looks very nice , right ? Well , I'd say so. The overall classiness hides the fact that it's indeed a drift car , doesn't it ? That was my plan. You'd never expect such a good looking and clean car to actually be an "undercover" drift car , would you ? I wouldn't... So , I'm not gonna mess with the engine of this thing because there's really no point in doing that. Mackay built this car to be able to handle all the drift tracks Japan has to offer , so , there's no point in going turbo. The RB Neo is in very good shape and as far as I'm concerned , Mackay never ran into any problems while using this car. I have to say that I absolutely love the new look ! Anyway , let's move on to the interesting part , the R33.✔-

-✔ Ahh yes ! The R33... I bet that no one expected this car to be this color. So , yes , the color is another Skyline color , it's the Gun Metal Grey. My inspiration and goal for this car was to make it like a "homage" to the R32 that Mackay previously built. What do you guys think ? Did I achieve my goal ? I think so. Even though the R33 is not as powerful as the Lagano's R32 , I did my best in making the R33 a successor to the R32. I know , the R32 was AWD , and widebody'd , and it had a drag wing and all of that jazz , but I did my best to make it look like the R32. Although there are lots of differences between these two cars , the goal was the same. I can't tell you guys how much I love the R33 right now ! Anyway , lets move on... ✔-

-✔ Once again , I took inspiration from the R32. We tried to make everything as "custom" as possible and man , we did quite a good job ! The wing was made by Mackay , and it's made out of aluminium. We tried to get as much downforce as possible to keep the car on the ground , because I kept it RWD. The Bomex bodykit helped us quite a bit due to its overall shape and form. In the end , there was no need for a front splitter because the car was riding pretty planted due to the HKS HyperMax III coilovers. The engine was built by the best man I know , which is MACKAY. He made sure we got all the parts that we needed and aimed for the maximum horsepower numbers we could squeeze out of this engine. Here's a detailed list of the engine specs : ✔-
-✔ Pretty impressive I must say. With over 10 grand spent on this engine , it was time to put it all together and get it running. Before we knew , the engine started perfectly on the first start , which was quite a lucky thing to happen. After that , we've put the car together and took it to the local dyno. At the dyno , we got some unexpected results. Remember that I said that I would be so happy if the car reached over 600 hp ? Well , it did actually happen , but the funny thing is that we got some unholy powernumbers. Yes , we've managed to get 666HP , kinda funny , right ? Anyway , we've also got some pretty nice torque numbers , 633 ft-lbs of torque. The engine is very well balanced and the power output is unbelievable. Surprisingly , some rumors started going around that this might be "the Devil's R33" but we'll have to see it for ourselves tonight on the Wangan. Speaking of Wangan , Mackay took me for a drive with his freshly built R34 and man , that things was so fast ! When he floored it I just felt my organs pushing against my ribs and back muscles ! That thing is just... I can't even describe it! It's devilish!✔-

-✔ As for the wheels and brakes , it was really hard to find rims that actually matched with my preferred tyre specs. Because I kept the car RWD , I decided to go for the 275/40ZR18 R888 tyres on the rear and the 245/40ZR18 R888's on the front. Now , I know , I got some massive tyres on the rear , well , I wanted to make sure I put all that power down and not wheelspin everywhere , and they do the job perfectly ! The rims are Work Racing CE28N rims all around , but the setup is not squared. The rear rims are 11.0x18's and the fronts are 9.8x18's. I must say , these R888's are really grippy ! They do the job perfectly and put all the power down with no issues at all. About the brakes , I decided to go with a full Wilwood brake set kit. The calipers have 6 pistons and the discs are drilled and vented all around. I wanted to make sure this car is able to stop at maximum speed so , these brakes should do the job just fine. ✔-

-✔ So , when you're going way past 250 km/h you start getting worried about your overall safety , and that's why I upgraded from the old stinky stock seats. I decided to get some Bride Zeta III's because I have a really good experience with Bride seats. I actually have Bride seats in all the cars that I own , so no wonder I chose to go with Bride. The seats are very comfortable and keep you in place really good. I also kept the back seat in the car , because y'know , if someone wants to experience this car from the back seat , they can ! There was no need for a rollcage because it wouldn't have done anything besides just adding a whole lot of weight. Mackay and me also reinforced the chassis so that it has more stiffness , and you can never go wrong with more chassis stiffness , that's for sure ! I also got myself a nice Nardi steering wheel ! It feels and looks great ! ✔-

-✔ So , that would be pretty much it ! The R33 is finally finished and man , I can't wait to take it on the Wangan tonight ! I'll also take MACKAY with me because y'know , I have to pay back the favor ! He took me in his R34 , I'll take him in my R33. So , at first , I had mixed feelings about this R33. I wasn't expecting it to grow on me so much , and now that it's finally finished , I can't explain how much I love it ! When I first bought this thing I was thinking that I'll just build the R33 into a decent street car and maybe sell it to make some more profit , but man , I was so wrong ! After all the sleepless nights and effort put into it I just can't sell it right now ! I really love this thing and even though my wallet got slim like Slim Shady , I want to keep this thing for as long as possible. I wonder how many of you guys like this car ... If you're interested in possibly buying it in the future , let me know , but for now , I wanna enjoy it as much as I can ! So , guys , come down to Osaka , hang out with us at the shop and just have some fun! You're all invited to take a seat in the R33 and enjoy the demonic horsepower this has to offer ! Now , I can't lie , but there are way more cars that I want to own on my list. As a next car , I'd really like an R32 and that would be just amazing , but there's the catch. Cars cost a lot of money , and in order to make them what you actually want them to be, you have to put a lot of work , effort and money into them. I can say that I would be incredibly sad if something bad happened to this car , because it's like a child to me ! I just love it with all my heart ! Anyway , I can't say for sure what my next move will be , because money pretty much determines almost everything I do in my life at the moment , but I'm sure I'll work something out. I'll be in Tokyo in the next days and I can't wait to meet my boys Radcoon and Skip in my R33 , I wonder how they'll react seeing this thing in person ... Talking about Radcoon , he managed to find some really nice HKS floor mats , and long story short , I've bought them. I'll pick them up at Radcoons shop and I think they'll go straight into the R33. I've always been really cautious with my interior , because I don't have floor mats in my Supra nor in my R33 , and fun fact , sometimes , I drive shoe-less while driving just to not get the interior carpet all dirty and muddy , Mackay knows this and he always laughs when he sees me driving in my socks. ✔-

-✔ Anyway , that'll be all for now , I hope you guys enjoy how the cars turned out and yeah , demonic godspeed homies ! ;) ✔-
