HELLO, WE'RE BACK!

It's been a while since I've last updated. So YAP, let's get each other up to par.

SO, Al recently bought a new set of wheels and tires, Watanabe F8s, 15x8 +40 all around, with 225/50/15s squared. With me having bald Bridgestone Potenza RE002s, I borrowed his old set of Rotiform SLCs, not just so that I wouldn't die, but so that I could pass Sha ken as well. Should I buy them off of him?

FaCe1, the comfy daily FC1, is a pretty good daily! I've been with it, getting groceries, hunting for parts, traveling to other cities and prefectures, and some spirited driving here and there. I'm actually surprised that the CVT wasn't as much of a letdown as I expected it to be. Good stuff!





And of course, since FaCe1 is now my daily for everything...

Kate can now become a project! Someone offered me V$500 for the TE37Xs + Adapters! So I agreed to the deal, went to the tire shop to get the tires off the wheels, and sold them! This was Kate's look for a while (again):





After that I SLAMMED it once again, lowering the setting on the D2 RS Coilovers. I then got some new wheels from RAYS. Gram Lights 57Gs! These are discontinued so I got them on sale. 110,000 yen (V$1100)! 16x6.5 ET+38 all around. Wrapped in the tires I used for the TE37X, Kumho Ecsta PS31s.





Got another Recaro-ish seat to match the driver one. 18,000 yen (V$180) at Super Autobacs.











OH YEAH, also got myself a new ducktail lip spoiler for 12,000 yen (V$120) at UP Garage.

Could this be Nightrunners's old S15!? It can't be! Stock aero?? Where are the 57Xtremes?? I had to investigate

But that rear bumper and exhaust do look familiar.





HMMMMMMMM. I went into McDonalds to order a McSpicy, and I eventually found the owner eating a Teriyaki McBurger. Had a chat with him and found out that it WAS Nightrunner's S15! And he said he'd actually be selling it because he was a little financially down! At this point I was so pumped, so we exchanged contact details, and set a plan to meet up at his place a week after.

So the story of this is, he bought it from Nightrunner, with the intention of turning it into a Show Car and Drift Car. But he also had a JZX100 and a JZA80, so he wasn't able to get around fixing it up. Eventually he had to get rid of some goodies to keep it. Sold the Nismo Front Bumper for a stock Spec R one. Sold Extreme Dimension Side Skirts. But was able to keep the INGS+1 Rear Bumper. Also sold the lip spoiler. Still got the WiseFab and Tein Suspension, but Tarox Brakes are no more. In their place, OEM S15 Brakes. The 57Xtremes were sold too. Now this car is sitting on 997.1 Turbo Replica Wheels, which actually don't look too bad. Paint all around isn't the best, when he bought it, the car had metallic paint all around, but when he bought some other parts, he didn't have the allocated budget to get it paint matched with the metallic finish, so he just had it straight painted with the closest shade he could get as Nightrunner wasn't able to give him the color codes either. He did however, upgrade to a CF Hood.











This man knows his stuff. The SR20DET was kept pretty clean and in top notch condition. He even painted the Valve Cover in OEM Matte Black. Aluminum piping all around too. Nice touch!





Interior is as clean as it gets. In fact, he just had it detailed last week!





Trunk is pretty clean too. I see he also relocated the battery to the trunk. I'll probably bring it back inside the engine bay though.

Man. He really did surprise me. But I was impressed by his enthusiasm. He said "I listed it down for 1,100,000 yen (V$11,000), but because I like you, I'll sell it to you for 900,000 yen (V$9,000), IF, and only IF, you promise to update me on the progress you do to it. I was like, DEAL. And it was mine.
