Well , let´s start a weekend off with a banger ( Except not really a banger lmao ) .
Ever since i´ve sold my PS13 and RPS13 , i´ve been looking for a good S-chassis for a simple
street car project . I wasn´t happy with all the Cars that were for sale unless i found this one . A Aspen White 1995
Nissan RPS13 180SX Type-III with a minor
front end damage after an accident with a deer and only 52 XXX.XXX KM on the clock !!!
Other than the front end damage and littlebit of dust , the car is in a really good condition !
As you could see , the front bumper is 100% destroyed as well as bracket for right pop-up headlight .
This is it chief , this is the best S-chassis for a street car project ! Repairable front end damage , almost 100% stock , low milage and in my most fav Nissan color - Aspen White Pearl and just for 4 980V$ ! I´ve immediately fell in love with this car
and i had to have it , i´m such a huge fan of S13´s or RPS13´s , basically of Nissan´s in general . When i saw the price , i´ve pulled the trigger and gave him the money and an older gentleman gave me the keys to my new car ! Ladies and Gentlemen , say hello to my new project ,
Project
Chuki ロね茨
First things first , let me show you the engine bay and the engine before i´ll start cleaning and
stripping this car out of its body panels !
As i´ve said , the car is almost 100% stock . Even the engine . However , the car have a Black Top SR20DET inside from a 1996 180SX Type-X with a aftermarket front mount intercooler and with a aftermarket filter , i´m not 100% sure about the brand but it might be HKS or Greddy !
Now , let´s get to the cleaning , first off , the interior ! Thankfully this car is in a really good condition
and was dirty only from the outside because of the dirt , less job for me on the interior lmao ! Just a simple vacuume of the interior and
cleaning out the carpets and seats should be enough !
Speaking of the interior , the seats and the steering wheel are in a really good condition
with just a littlebit of wear !
Thankfully , the dash is not cracked , oooooffff .....
After the interior , i gave the car a propper wash and started pulling off the front bumper and right pop up headlight to see what is wrong with it . Thankfully , only the bracked was bend . After inspecting all the damage , i went to my neighbours
across the street , a junkyard to find a new Chuki front bumper and bracket for RPS13 Pop-up headlight . After an hour of crawling , i found a totalled
RPS13 Aspen white RPS13 with untouched front end . From now , the fun started , disasembling the whole front end just for the front bumper and probabably a new set of pop-up headlights ! After few minutes i´ve had everything i wanted . However , on my way to the "cashier" a really good looking wangan Bomex
RPS13 rear spoiler and now here we are ! Meawhile i was in the Junkyard , my JZZ30 came from the Benny´s but that´s for a next update !!!
Pop-Ups installed , now lets install the Wing first , it should be a lot easier than the front bumper ! Few
screws here and there , littlebit of drilling , littlebit of 3M double sided tape and we are done !
Let´s close the hatch to see how it looks like , boy oh boy , this is giving me a
80´s / 90´s Wangan / Drift scene and i fucking LOVE IT !
Now , the installation of the front bumper ! Surprisingly , it was a lot easier than removing
of the destroyed front bumper !
God , i can´t even describe how happy i´m that i own a RPS13
again after all those months ! Baby , i´m gonna keep you forever !
Finances:
1995 Nissan RPS13 180SX Type-III Chuki - 4 980V$
Wangan Bomex Style Trunk Spoiler - 173.99V$
OEM Chucki Front bumper - 386V$
OEM 180SX Pop-Up Headlights - 250V$
45 209.45V$ - 4 980V$ - 173.99V$ - 386V$ - 250V$ = 39 419.46V$
