Year long Ichigo hiatus 挨温

Nissan Silvia S15 , also called " Ichigo " - a car that i´ve started my Japanese journey with . Since then it´s been a year (and few days) already .
Not gonna lie , i went through quite a lot of cars but my heart and soul was still craving for an Ichigo . In the past , months after
i sold my first Ichigo , i bought another Spec-R Aero Ichigo , but something just wasn´t right at that time , so i sold it . It just wasn´t
the right time and place in life to own that car . Now , over a year ago of owning an Ichigo ( my first one that is currently in AJ´s hands ) i´m finally ready to be a proud S15 owner again , in another words , let me introduce you to my brand new project

Project Ichigo 一護

Yep , this is a replacement of my old ER34 that i sold last week to a very nice and kind older gentleman for a reasonable price of 32 000V$ .

Well , as you can see , it´s as far from stock as it can be - in fact this exact car used to compete in grassroots drift
competitions once in it´s lifetime and then never driven again - garage lady you could say , well actually mildly tuned garage lady lmao .

Engine wise everything is pretty simple yet still very much different from a stock SR20DET used in Spec-R´s ( yes , this once used to be a Spec-R silvia )

Under the hood or bonnet if you´re fancy , are hiding 400 of the most buff horses you could ever imagine to even exist on this planet .

Garrett GT2871R turbo
Apexi airfilter
Koyorad radiator
Greddy front mount intercooler
Custom exhaust manifold
Exedy Stage 2
Kakimoto catback exhaust system
oh and did i mentioned 400 H O R S E P O W E R ?!

Just as the engine , suspension , brakes and wheels are no exception

Yashio Factory HKS coilovers with S.w.i.f.t. springs ( just as on my 180SX)
Full Cusco Rods, Arms and Links
AP Racing BBK
17´´ Yokohama Advan Racing RG-II´s on the front , 18´´ Yokohama Advan Racing RG-II´s on the back
- Wrapped in Used michelin pilot super sports rubber

Exterior wise at some point this car used to run a full BN-sports bodykit , which is as you can see , not on the car anymore yet ... .
but instead of the BN-sports bodykit we have a beautiful Spec-R Aero bodykit with 326power rear overfenders and custom fiberglass
front fenders that i´m def changing out in the future lmao . And to top the whole exterior off , authentic Vertex hood !

As you can see , the car is , or more so was originally an Aspen White Pearl Spec-R with currently "few" miss-matched bodypanels .
Even tho the car is in 50 shades of white and the engine bay was resprayed to grey at some point , it´s still a very , very , VERY low mileage car - only 34 xxx.xxx Original KM´s on the clock , that´s crazy ! This car was basically just built , competed few times in drifting competitions and then the guy never touched the car ever again until i bought it from him for " only " 2,515,000 JPY , which is something around 23 348.58V$ . UNBELIEVABLE price for a such a low mileage car with that much aftermarket parts !

Interior wise , it´s nothing 2 crazy .
Bride Brix I seats
Aftermarket rollcage ( not sure about the brand name )
HKS gauges
BNR34 GTR steering wheel
and rear seat delete

So , that´s the story on how i got myself a Ichigo after a 1 year long hiatus !

Finances:
2002 Aspen White Nissan S15 Silvia Spec-R - 23 348.58V$
66 253.39V$ - 23 348.58V$ = 42 904.81V$

Sold : 2001 Nissan Skyline R34 GT25 Turbo Series II - 32 000V$

Weekly paycheck 2x - 1 880V$

Everything together - 33 880V$

42 904.81V$ + 33 880V$ = 76 784.81V$

If you´re asking about my other cars , stay tuned for the next week . The ichigo deserves an update for itself only :-X
