neboonel: Nicely built car, with the exception of the missing wing trunk piece; would have looked better with the whole wing or completely wingless. It's a little too low for my tastes. Color balance needs work: car and most of the picture is blue-hued, and while I like the yellow stripes, there's a mismatch between the red RC logo and the desaturated tail lights.
danilka45rus: Composition is excellent. Nicely built car and nice Photoshop - I love the reflections. The pic is just a little too dark overall, though the color balance is otherwise spot-on, particularly for a grey car.
slogun1993: Angle is a little strange; pic is too small; too dark; would have looked better without the driver. Again, nicely built car, though. Reflection set looks good.
Razor_S2000: Car is too small in the pic and angled strangely. Nicely built car, though could be better, as the paint job looks fairly pixelated even zoomed out that far. Also nice because it's an F&F replica.
Apan10: Nicely built car, but the pic needs AA and isn't composed that well. Color balance isn't that well thought out. Also loses points for the mis-matched glow meshes on the car.
E-Bullet: Nicely composed pic, and nice color balance in the background, but the car itself is hideous. "Rat look" is something I have only ever seen in the US and Europe, almost never in Japan, especially on a late-model car. If the car was solid color, didn't have the roof rack, and was on some nicer wheels, I might have voted for it.
ebone: Solid but not outstanding entry. Not focused enough on the car - could have used a little more work in positioning the car in the view-frame. Colors look washed out, with no contrast anywhere.
Wh0?: Car is interestingly built, though it's worth noting that the Eclipse is actually an American-market car. Color contrast between black and purple isn't strong enough, particularly at night with the blue headlights. Camera angle and car placement need work.
Daniel: Very nice camera placement, and excellent use of a single color scheme (albeit only natural flat tones, which don't catch the eye as much). The shot is very clean-looking, but nothing about it is very striking. Also, the use of a shakotan-style Mark II doesn't make much sense against the track background. The car itself is excellently built, though.
Tubaman: Sorry to say it, but the material settings on that mod absolutely break the shot. Colors look very flat overall and need work. Nicely assembled car, though; pulls off the stance look very nicely. Also worth mentioning that that's a USDM Civic, but that's inconsequential.
g4tnt: Photoshop work is a little too conspicuous here, mainly because of the lens flares and inconsistently applied motion blur (notice the jagged edges around the hood of the car). Car color is a little bit off, especially compared to the rest of the shot. The placement of the car also needs a lot of work; the tire smoke is more prominent in the shot than the car itself.
Lowmaxx: I actually liked something about this one, for some reason. There are a few little details that are off, however. Light glows are conspicuously mismatched, especially for a night shot. Car placement and angle is a little strange. The car is nicely built, but the blue lighting coming from the opposite direction from the moon (and in the direction of an off-screen street lamp!) looks a little strange. This is also one of the few shots that would look better with a driver.
Nero-666: The car is nicely built, but the camera placement far from the car and the text on-screen ruin the shot. It's almost impossible to see the car itself. The colors are, again, too dark.
Lauris-D: This is a nice shot that I overlooked at first. Color balance is good, though a little washed-out; I can't quite tell what color that car is supposed to be. Would look nicer without the driver in the car. Camera placement is just a little off; close, but not quite there.
dm0: This is a nicely built car, and the camera angle is very close to being good. However, this is one of the few shots that's actually taken too close to the car. Vignette effect also makes this shot look out of focus, especially considering that the center of the vignette is different from the horizon (the horizon would look better in the center of the vignetting circle).
FJ: Car doesn't make sense - the Aygo is a Toyota Europe car that wasn't sold in Japan, as far as I can tell - and the body kit is a little over-the-top. There's also a lot of wasted space on either side of the car, and the FOV is too sharp. The logo placement is haphazard, and looks like an after-thought. That said, the wheel fitment is nice, and would have actually made a nice centerpiece for the shot.
Illking: Nicely built car and excellent choice of locations. Shot is too close to the car, and the light glows look blurry. Could have also used more attention to the color balance - looks desaturated overall. The text at the top of the screen also distracts from the shot.
M3fx: Good camera placement, and there is an interesting color contrast between the bright background and the more muted car. However, this has the effect of bringing the background to the viewer's attention and almost hiding the car. In this regard, the composition needs work. Good work with the car itself, even with the color issues.
adha77: Picture didn't load.
xXWOJTOXx: One of the few light blue cars in this comp that actually works effectively, color-wise. Camera is just a LITTLE too close to the car, and the FOV is a little too sharp. Also looks like a more USDM-styled car - rims are too big, and the roof spoiler doesn't work that well.
Raul877: This one surprised me a little. FOV is just slightly too sharp. Wheel fitment is nice at the front, but looks mismatched at the back (the FOV makes it hard to tell). Color balance is nice; car is painted a nice shade of blue. This is an entry that really makes me wish SLRR's reflections were better, because I'd want to see the sky reflected on the paint.
jdmface: Very nicely built car, exactly in the spirit of the competition. Great composition with the sun just barely peeking out from behind the trees. Colors need just a bit of work: the background suggests a brighter yellow palette, while the foreground is strongly blue.
Stormy88: Pic is tiny. There isn't anything particularly special about the car, and the green-yellow wheels don't make sense to me against the white and red Civic Type-R. However, this is a good choice of photo shoot locations, and if the photo weren't so cropped, it would probably be at just the right amount of zoom.
Gr1jkee: Almost everything about this shot works. What hurts it is the fact that it is too dark, and there are a few things off with the car. Muffler would have looked nice exchanged with a subtly larger one, and the tail lights look like European-model lights. (That last part is Skylines' or Turn 10's fault, though, so I can't blame you for it.) Tail lights could also be a little brighter.
TricyC: Car, location, and color balance all look sweet. Camera angle is very off, though: the car looks placed haphazardly, and the FOV looks way too sharp. Also would have looked nice with the front wheels facing the camera, rather than the tread.
IceD: I love this shot. The car looks perfectly built, up to and including the wheel choice. Color balance is spot-on, with the background sky nicely chosen. Out of everyone to add a watermark to their pic, yours looks the least out-of-place. Ultimately, though, the shot is just the tiniest bit too zoomed-in.
hitman3965: This looks like it would have been a nice shot before you ran it through the Photoshop filter. Sorry.
(I'm serious: The camera placement is nice, and that looks like an interesting car that fits the theme exactly.)
CalledBridge72: Nicely built car, even if the tilted hood is a more USDM touch. Background is serviceable, but not remarkable. In fact, overall, this shot is good but not great.
stance666: Car is too close to the camera, it's hard to see the black car at night, and I'm not a fan of the wheel choice. Otherwise, this is a nice photo, making full use of Shibuya's cityscape.
KidForDrift: Great composition: one of the few shots where the car is close to the camera but not too close. The billboard in the background is a nice touch. I like the reflection set you are using. Car is mostly spot-on, except that the BBS RS wheels with the center caps and the "illest" logo with the leaf look out of place (both being US / EU touches). Also would have looked nicer with a set of custom seats.
KrYpToN: One of the few vignette-style shots that works, composition-wise. Car is not that well-built, though: needs some better wheels and a more subdued bumper. Reflections look strange, and colors need just a little work.
Nitrolancer: There isn't really a focal point in this picture, given that you are staring at the entire flat side of the wagon. Nice location. The car looks OK, but could use some work; the wheels look mismatched to the rest of the car, quality-wise.
MarkGT: Picture is tiny. Nice location, and great composition with the light falling on one half of the car. Car itself needs work, with the sticker-bomb and carbon fiber loading too much visual attention to the front.
WhiteVanWookie: Car looks good. However, the picture badly needs anti-aliasing (especially since the rear half is blurred), and the background looks really low-quality here.
RaggerKnuggen13: Picture is taken too far away from the car, and the menu overlay is very distracting. This is otherwise a decent entry, and would have looked good in a larger size with the borders cropped out.
Darius1965: Car isn't really to my tastes, especially since the broken bumper and highly cambered wheels make the whole car look sloppy. Composition and color balance is well-done; reflections look good.
Jesus Christ: Excellent color choices, though would have been even better with some more contrast between the car and the wheels. Light glows look great on this mod. One of the few shots with a dark background that works well. The one thing that throws the shot off is the soft focus effect; it just makes the car look blurry. Also could have used some flares from the headlights.
Henry: Well-built car, but composition needs a lot of work: Camera is placed too low and too close, and there is no visual interest in staring at the side of the car. The wheels are also tilted away from the camera when they would have looked better pointed toward it. Needs anti-aliasing.
Rokus: Beautiful shot. Nice color balancing with the green foliage surrounding the beige car. Car looks stanced, but not by too much. Background is visually interesting. My only problem is that this Impreza looks like a single-piece custom mod, and this picture would have looked better if we could see an intercooler and engine through the grille. Seats look good inside the car.
Franco: Very nice choice of car - correct to the theme, and with some good period-correct wheels and seats. One of the best lighted shots I've seen, with the light very clearly coming from the top left corner and with the car casting a shadow in the right direction. Great use of color, with the yellow and blue contrast. My only reservation is that the rust on the car doesn't quite look right; the car would have looked better in solid red.
robicutz: Good shot overall, with a nice choice of location and car. Nice blue and red scheme on most of the car, but the wheels throw it off. Wheels are a little too large and too poked out.
slrrfreak: Field of view (FOV) is way too sharp, and the camera placement doesn't make sense. It's hard to even see the car itself. Decals need a lot of work. Sun lens flare just makes it harder to see what is going on. Tip: Next time, use the F9 key to move the camera around more easily, and use the + and - keys on the number pad to adjust the FOV.
HaxoReSc: Again a faux rusted / rat rod Evo X. I'm not a fan of the car. However, the composition and color balance is competently done, with the horizon of the background centered nicely.
KevinCH: Nice car, nice composition. Colors are a little faded, but not in a way that looks bad. Banner is tasteful.
Razine: For a car that you're making yourself, the material settings are a little weird. Lighting is strange. Camera positioning and the car itself are nice, though.
Earlnutarak: Excellent paint job - probably the best in the comp. Camera angle is acceptable but not great. That said, it doesn't really fit the style of the comp, being more a USDM-style track car than a JDM street machine.
jittwas66666: Nothing particularly notable about the car itself - it's a decently built car. However, the black parts of the car look like blobs because the shot is a little too dark, and everything is blurry because of your ENB.
mistacarz02: Decent car, though again uses the "novice" leaf logo, which (as I noted with KidForDrift's entry) is not used for that meaning inside Japan itself. Stickers are also all for US companies. As far as the shot itself, the camera is definitely too close to the car, and the FOV is too sharp.
jdm.lover: At first this shot caught my eye. It is very visually impressive, it is composed well, and it has a lot of interesting details. However, the picture has been Photoshopped to the point where I can't tell what is SLRR and what is Photoshop any more. Also, the tail lights look positioned wrong on the reflection, even though the rest of the reflection is very impressively done.
Inline5: I like this car, though the red rollcage and wheels really should have been another color for contrast. Composition is good, with the car positioned well on-screen. Color balance is also nice, and it's clear that you have taken advantage of the morning time in SLRR well. Very well-done picture, but it is just missing something that I can't describe.
ClassyJ: Clean car, even if I don't like the amount of camber. Background is nice, though it suggests Europe more than Japan. Once again, though, it just needs something.
piba: Again another car that doesn't fit the theme because it is US-styled (roof rack, California license plate). I don't really like the roof rack, nor the amount of space it takes up in the shot. Colors are a little too faded. I do really like the track you are using here, though. What track is it?
Torres1985: I am not a fan of the colors on the car, especially because the purple-on-pink contrast isn't sharp enough. Blue-on-pink might have worked better. The shot also, again, looks faded. Camera positioning is decent, though, and for the most part the car is built nicely.
that_240sx: Picture didn't load.
conkaa: I don't really like the red accents on the car. Camera angle looked fine at first, but then I noticed that the FOV needed adjustment. Vignette effect gives me a headache, especially because the car is not at the center.
KDF: Again a US-styled car. Photoshop does most of the heavy lifting in this shot, which is a shame, because this might have been a nice entry even without it. Car is built acceptably, but the blur makes it hard to see much of it. Colors are also alright, with the exception of the bluish reflections toward the top of the car.
Blast: Nicely built car that reflects the theme well, though I don't really think the wheels fit (they are five-bolt wheels on a four-bolt car). Again a California license plate, but here I didn't actually mind. Colors look good, and the camera position is alright (if maybe a bit too close). This pic is another really good one, but it was missing a certain something that I can't describe.
Rudi: Color balance is way too yellow-and-green for no apparent reason. Roof rack looks very out of place on an NSX. Track is alright, even if this isn't a very visually interesting spot on it. Could be much more zoomed-in on the car.
jimbowe: Nicely built AE86. The colors in the photo are neutral and not washed out, which is good. Camera position needs work: the angle lets you see most of the car, but it isn't interesting at all.
ScoobyEzh: Nice picture for the most part. In particular, I like the reflections. Car is nicely built. However, the picture is WAY too dark.
Mario: Would have looked better on something other than stock wheels (even though I know that the whole car is yours, and thus the wheels too). The picture is too dark, considering that you are using a black car, and the details are mostly lost. (As a side note, I think the mod's paintable material needs more reflection and/or specular, which is part of why it is so hard to see details.)
Vygantuxas: Excellent car. Wheel fitment looks great, and I like the lip spoiler. Track choice is good, but the background is a little bit too full of distracting objects. Camera placement is good, but the car could be a little closer to the center of the frame.
Morpheus Hell: To be honest, the paint job is a bit of a mess. Good effort, but it needed a little more planning. (I will again mention that the "novice driver" leaf isn't being used correctly here.) The seafoam-green part of the car could have been white or blue and would have looked better that way. Good background choice and camera placement.
Supr4: Acceptable car, though not the best choice thematically. Painted rear window would have looked better stock, or black with some decals. Camera is a little too close and too low. Lighting looks weird, with the shadows and highlighted parts of the car not lining up right.
Drifter92: Great car, with a nice paint job. Camera angle, FOV, and background choice look good. However, the shot is too dark in the background, and the ENB bloom effect blurs the car too much.
Bakchis: Nice car and decent camera angle. A good shot overall, with no obvious flaws, but not really anything special. Reflections and lighting look good.
xtenso978: Nicely built car. Camera placement needs work. Shot is too saturated - the colors look wrong. Might have looked better without a driver.
KokumeiYUU: Decent car, though I don't really understand the black headlights. Background takes up too much of the shot, and isn't interesting enough to be that prominent. (This would have worked on a different map or in a different spot.) Car looks faded - colors are really washed out in this shot, which is unusual for you, given that your shots usually have a good color balance. Needs a bit of improvement.
pette.mk3: Again uses a vignette effect that doesn't really work. Car is built nicely, but it's a shame that we don't see more of it. Camera angle needs more thought. Color balance is alright; I like the purple sky against the brown car.
Dariuss: This car would have looked way better as a straight-up drift car without a roof rack, or as a street car with a front bumper. Otherwise, it looks nice. Colors are very faded; background looks blurry because everything is too dark.
Initial Beebs: Nicely built car. Unique choice of location. This would have actually been a very nice shot if the camera angle was better - the FOV is too sharp, and the camera looks like it's pointing past the car rather than at the car. Like I told slrrfreak, use F9 to switch to a better camera mode.
Ryancooper: Decent car and camera angle. Reflections look really wrong: they look way too bright for the background you are using.
i go extreme: Very well built car, with a nice consistent theme. Camera angle is good. Color balancing is alright, especially with the yellow/grey theme going on. A pretty solid picture. Just needs a little more work on something, and I can't really tell you what that something is.
LoganC: Picture is tiny and blurry, and needs some anti-aliasing. Colors are really dark - I couldn't even notice the roof rack until I zoomed in. Car itself is alright, especially the wheel choice.
Sirekas: Nice Z. Color balance and background are nicely chosen. This is a great shot. My only problem is that your gamma might be just a little too low - could have used higher brightness or some post-processing to brighten it a little.
Bigg Boss93: Prius-based trolling aside, this is a very well-composed shot. Color choices are great, and the location is spot-on. Great shot - I'm just not a fan of the subject itself.
Gaschi1983: Another Prius, this one less joking in intent than BB93's. Interesting details. Camera placement needs work, and the background is not that interesting.
Joe Alex: Excellent Integra that fits the theme very nicely. Camera is WAY too close to the car / zoomed in.
Pro7: Nice entry, except that it is just a bit too dark overall. Camera placement is good, as is the car itself.
