I really liked the idea Rob...

But maybe we should really go for Lod2 or even Lod3 because of the resource usage?

Well, after the small fix I did, we don't have more problems in Valo because of these, but anyway, its good to have a fluid game experience.

Another idea I was having with franco, was to get some cars from Lod2 and just make really ultra-quick conversions, only hood, trunk and lights detachable for making oponents... really simple cars, probably only the race cars (Like Audi DTM, etc)... that would be great for creating opponents for ROC, track racing, etc... that's one smart way to do that because they would be really simple, "skinnable" and the gameplay will be really fast. These cars can have a small ammount of parts (they can even be 1 part only, but 3-4 parts would be good for damage) and that will lend to a mod without too many scripts, that are what makes the game sometimes slow. At least it was what Miran told me. What really makes the gameplay crappy sometimes are the ammount of scripts. Of course, ultra-motherfucking high poly cars do that, for those who have low spec pcs (like Franco)

But I'm happy and proud to say that we're doing a good job in this department. Franco is our "base" test PC... and it runs ok for him on the good old warrior FX5500 :)
