i7-4790 is about 356 euro while the i5-6600k is 261 euro.
EVGA GTX 970 SC is around 356 euro too, altho I could get a Sapphire AMD R9 390 for 10 euro less.
Reasons why I still want to go Nvidia is because obvbiously Nvidia has a better reputation, I have more experience with Nvidia, and their drivers aren't as bad as AMD's. Overheating isn't an issue for me aslong as it stays under 90 C.
My current laptop has gone into the 100 C on the CPU and mid 90's on the GPU, but it's a laptop which explains it all.
