I'm a little upset at the moment. Just as I was pulling into the garage, the supercharger failed...
Everything else is fine, luckily. I think I might convert to N/A... My previous 86 was stock engine wise and it ran downhill quite nicely. I probably will re-supercharge it someday, so I will keep the piping and whatnot around. ((Seems my ENB has failed me aswell, I'll tweak it a bit...)) Added 1 hour 36 minutes later: So I dismantled the intake side of the engine. Theses pictures show what I did in basic steps. 1: Remove the hood 2: Remove intercooler 3: Remove intercooler piping 4: Remove supercharger & air pipe/filter 5: Remove intake manifold Now that I have this done, I can start looking for a new intake manifold, filter, and fuel injection system. I might order online, but if anybody has one or or all of those things in good condition for sale, hit me up. This post was edited by ThatBoostedGuy (2016-03-04 01:27, ago) |
