Hi.
I Thought it was about time to do something about the VAG engines´ when it comes to the usage of sounds so that use their own sound files in their "Sounds" folder instead of those found at the engines it was based onto. An example: Probably why it used the stock i4 engines´ sounds [pre]java.game.parts.engines.Einvagen_Duhen_Ishima_Focer; tab.addItem(new ResourceRef(parts.engines.Einvagen_Duhen_Ishima_Focer:0x000000A2r), 1500.0, 500.0, 6500.0, 0.42, 0.52); [/pre] How it should have been (and what it says in the .javas I´ve made for for the VAG) [pre]java.game.parts.engines.VAG; tab.addItem(new ResourceRef(parts.engines.VAG:0x000000A2r), 1500.0, 500.0, 6500.0, 0.42, 0.52); [/pre] The problem now is that I barely know the full specs of the blocks except that the JP Diesel had 151 hp with it´s stock parts only and the bore of the blocks but the engine as mentioned has ~20hp less now. So, if anyone is nice enough to provide the engine blocks´ specs here so I can not only get the engines´ their previous specs but also to give them a nice overhaul that I can release as a fix for the engine itself later. If "GSM" is the creator then how do I reach her/him at?
Added 33 minutes later: I think screenshots of the engines´ dyno runs would be needed since I can´t find anything about the other two engines (the 2990cc GSM I430D and the 1588cc JP diesel engines). Although the BMN (BMW?) Diesel at 1968cc was easy to find facts about. hi, im the author of the vag diesel engines. but i have to say i dont have files of this anymore i dont even have the game files. the mod was done in year 2008-2009

Oh thanks for telling this, I was going to make this mod even better but I still wonder what changes the performance through only block .javas?

u can do waht u want with that mod. the only thing i remember is that the mod has a own fuel rail java (created from miran, especially for this diesel mod) to incrase the torque more from the hp. the best performance u can get i thing to modify the camshaft javas ( if i remember it correctz it was a crappy duhen camshaft just rescripted for 8v cylinderheads
basically the whole engine is based on edited duhen engine javas (except for the fuel rail) |

lel I see so I can upload it here as a fix if it´s fully ok for you (it might decrease the power at JP Diesel but increase the power at the GSM 1430D by ~21 hp with the newer .javas)?
