Its the internet though, what do you expect.
You guys are actually partially right. Something highly un assuming that you wouldn't expect to be packing a lot of power, considering people OUTSIDE of the US modify Legacy's all the time its not that un assuming. Im not bagging on his car, im just saying because it is marketed as a sports wagon and comes out with a twin turbo engine PERSONALLY I wouldn't call it a sleeper. Even if it is poverty spec with a turbo motor, its not un assuming. We can end it there if you want? Example of a sleeper: 1954 Ford Popular with a 2.0 Zetec engine This post was edited by Sam C (2016-06-16 08:56, ago) |

# Sam C : First of all, thats not a sleeper, because the body is immaculate. People would see that, and look again, and try to figure out what it is. This, is a true sleeper. People know what it is. Know that their slow, looks like a pile of shit, but in reality, its a turbocharged monster with 330 horsepower. |

I have no idea? Really? So a COMPLETELY stock appearing 1999 Civic 4 door, with a turbocharged engine making 330 horse isn't a sleeper? You are the idiot, sir. The Civic is a totally shit looking car, and people see them, assume their shit and slow, and when they race this one, they get beaten. People see that Ford thing you posted, and want to look at it more, as it's a rare vehicle. You can pick up a 4 door Civic for dirt cheap pretty much anywhere. Also, here's the video on that particular Civic, titled "Sleeper Status! 330 HP Four Door Review!" Eat a dick, bitch.
Mighty Car Mods also built a sleeper. Totally stock, shit exterior, powered by a turbo EJ25. It beat Supergramps. And, how about this MK1 Golf? We should have the community take a poll, so I can shut your dumbass up once and for all. Which is a better sleeper, the 330 whp EG Civic, or the Zetec powered '56 Ford? |

SamC, ur dumb
The Civic that dxg1997 post is a sleeper, like the Beetle and the Mk1 Golf. I will say few sleepers; -Dodge SRT-4, -Ford Taurus SHO, -Ford Mustang SVO, -Etc... Any car can be a sleeper |

# Sam C : Sigh.. I know your a kid but still, the ignorance... You're the fucking dumbass. You didn't deny that you're only 15 first of all. I'm 18 years old, and I know what I'm actually talking about, mostly because I graduated college AND high school 2 weeks apart. I'm ASE certified, and I know what a sleeper is. There are plenty of them around here. Ey Papa has the right idea. A shitty, normal looking car with a powerful engine is a sleeper, not a rare 50's car that everyone will stop and look at. A sleeper is something no one would look twice at, but will still destroy you. YOUR ignorance is amusing. |

Like, not to jump in on the argument (even though that's exactly what I'm doing.)
The Civic Darren posted obviously can't be a sleeper, since there are performance versions of the Civic, and that would lead people to assume all Civics are vehicles set up for quicker laptimes, rather than less time inbetween fillups. Those two cars are the same make and model, obviously they have to be the exact same... Right?? /sarcasm This post was edited by TofuHachiroku (2016-06-18 01:55, ago) |

Exactly. Obviously the red one here is turbo, and set up for a track, just like the white one.

Cool story bro. Love how you said I was a track master! Thanks! Even though, I've never raced on a track a day in my life. That's real kind of you. And, you've never seen me, so how do you know how I look? And, you would know about HIV, because you must have it. Along with the point you're butthurt, because you !. can't type English properly, and B. OOOO, So fucking what you have a Lexus? Why should I care again? You're from Arizona, and you change you're region so much because you're ashamed of getting reamed by Mexicans all day, so why should I take you seriously?

1997 Nissan D21 Kingcab, rocking a nice KA24E Probably makes 90hp to the wheels at this point, clearly need to replace the fenders but I'm just waiting on a pathfinder I might pick up to part out and take fenders off of. Will eventually have progress with it but it's all mine, good condition for a winter driven truck from '97. |

New member. Here's my ride: 1993 Toyota Supra Turbo targa top (original turbo 6-speed) 710WHP on stock motor. About to install a new turbo and built motor shortly with fuel upgrades to support ethanol. Bigger tires too, but same wheels. Power goals = 1000+ WHP.

Thanks for the props all!
# Kazern : on stock block is and haha they are fucking bulletproof how much boost and what turbo is that looks mint Yep stock motor, probably the only thing that hasn't been modified or changed on the car. That will no longer be the case in a few weeks time Right now it is running a PTE7175 journal bearing from Sound Performance's SP71 turbo kit (HKS T51R replica kit). Single T4 stainless manifold with a 60mm W/G flange. It is running an HKS GT2 60mm wastegate w/ open dump. Buying a GT4208R 80/82 DBB turbo sometime soon and am also considering other manifold options. As of late the car is street tuned via AEM V1 on VPower 91 octane at appx 18 psi. I'd say that it is making mid 600s at this point... I raced a 600 WHP ZL1 a couple months back and we evened each other out almost every time. Video: *LINK* |
