Hey Guy's the names Nathan aka Crazy88.
I'm 24 and I'm from Atlanta Georgia I moved to California to pursue an art degree, while going to school I work at an insurance agency and it my free time I dabble in photography.
With a lot of saving I was able to purchase my first car.
A 2014 Scion FRS/Toyota GT86
A car I had my I on since it came out.
I spent about V$10,000.00 at one my local Toyota's clearance sales which was an awesome deal, I didn't want to buy a used FRS/GT86 because I wanted a clean slate to work on. I plan on making it a showcar/streetcar or drifter ? I'll make up my mind as this build goes along but I'm super stoked about what's to come and well what my pocket could afford. Finances: V$30,000-V$10,000=V$20,000 |

# FastCars : I think street build, not much gt86s in rps around here and gr8 deal on the car. I'm going with street and show build since it's my only mode of transportation, I'm not gonna fuck it up for drifting I may buy a drift car if I have enough money and time to work on it. So I got my Christmas bonus early V$2,500+3,000. And earlier on I spent money I didn't have...THANK GOD I got paid as early as I did. I basically gave myself an early Christmas Present. I went on ebay and bought myself some nice things. A H&R Ultra Low Street Coilover Kit and BBS LM rims all which burned a huge hole in my fucking pocket. The rims dimensions are a perfect fit 17x10. Oh and they are legit BBS and not (Buh Bull Shit) Reps. I carried my loot to a local tire shop to get them installed "and" get tires for the rims since they came without...ugh I'm gonna be broke when I'm done. The Kit I got for V$900 and the rims V$1,000. In total I spent: V$1,900 My Ledger looks like this: V$20,000-1,900+800(In labor and tires)=V$17,300+5,500*Bonus= V$22,800
Did I make a correct choice in rims ? I may plasti dip em, but did I do my 86 justice with these shoes ?
Later on I'm gonna do some cheap bolt ons to pep the little boxer up but after Christmas.

# GoverningNick : What are you planning to do to wake up that FA20, friendo? Well for one I want to keep it NA some new pistons and cams not to keen on boosting it, I've also been thinking of swapping a 2JZGE instead of boosting it. Why a GE you ask ? Well for one my car has nothing to prove speedwise, it's meant to be a cruiser and my daily. I've never seen anyone do a N/A JZ GT86 before, everyone is all single and twin turbo, it's to much drama for me as a car guy. # Pinter : Like Nick said, but make them subaru copper/gold! Not a bad idea

I'd say go for it man. I haven't seen many 2JZGE swapped cars, so you'd definitely be keeping it unique.

Or, you could swap a EJ25, or maybe one of those flat six bangers that are in some of the Soob wagons and such. That'd be very[/] interesting. Interesting enough for a feature...

So I just got the biggest surprise of my damn life!
So I got a surprise visit from my parents which was awesome since I haven't seen them since I moved here in January.
Another surprise was my dad's 2013 Audi RS4 Avant, I didn't even want to know where or how he got it, all I wanted to do was take it for a spin. And god it's a rush. I think I may have to move again due to the amount of tire marks we left on my street. Earlier on I took advantage of same day shipping and bought a fake carbon lip* V$60.00 for my 86 since my dad was here I got help putting it on. I think it looks good. Took some glamour shots at a local mall with the RS4.
Today was going so swell then it got better. Came back home to see a freaking 240SX in my driveway. Christmas came early...."AGAIN" I'm happy asfffffffffffadjbfadjfj. I mean it's not much of a looker but ugh a 240. It's probably the best present they ever got me. Now I know 240's are common asf on these forums and in my area in general, but with my now "2" cars, I'm gonna make sure they are unique. 2017 is gonna be a hell of a year. Fiances:V$22,800-60=V$22,740 240= Priceless This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2016-12-21 00:15, ago) |

With Christmas quickly coming I decided to give my cars a seasonal cleaning and the 240SX needed a srs cleaning.
I really need to get it painted.
I bought a 180SX Type-X bumper off Craigslist, because the bent one was beginning to be an eye sore. But fuck though ? V$450.00 ? Can some one tell me why JDM OEM parts are so expensive ? I also bought some new rims and tires because the old ones were bare and suspect, the rims are for sale though idk if they are original but the AVS6 16x10 are for sale. PM me if your interested. But seriously I need to get it painted it looks so off being multicolored and shit I know it's gonna be a drift car but it at least needs to look... "PRESENTABLE" I may put the GT86 on hold and work on this. Finances:V$22,800-450-800*(Tires and Rims)-800*(RENT)=20,750 |

Type X bumper is not so unique, you can still stand out with something else though. Making a 240 unique is a real challenge, so it will look really interesting when it's done, right?

# David_2709 : rims are sold with tires? price? It's coming with the tires they're stretched and bare and by bare I mean hardly any fucking thread. The size is 16x10 I checked online and these Model 6's were selling at moderate prices Idk if they are real so I'll sell them to you for V$550 # Lagano : Type X bumper is not so unique, you can still stand out with something else though. Making a 240 unique is a real challenge, so it will look really interesting when it's done, right? I mean you're right because 240's are like the Civic of Nissan they're so many of them around. I want it to be a drift car and somewhat daily-able there are so many body kits but they are an arm and a leg to buy and import to the US or to buy here. But yeah it'll be pretty interesting. Right now I've been basically fixing the problems with the car, new tires and replacing suspension bearings, right now I got a "new" well used Scale Innovations coilover kit, front and rear sway bars and new brake disks and calipers and finally a HKS Hi-Power Cat Back Exhaust System, all which cost me V$3,750 *PLUS* I bought a 180SX Type X rear light and adapters which you know it ain't fucking cheap but because the seller lives right in my area I got it for a pretty good deal V$520 so in total I spent about V$4270. With the car lowered and with the running gear in a better state, I feel safer driving it. Finances:V$20,750-4270=16,480 This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2016-12-21 21:56, ago) |

LATEMERRYCHRISTMAS!!!
And Happy Boxing Day I've spent the weekend with help from some friends scrapping the 240 down to bone and fixing signs of rust, I basically spent my Christmas in a car shop. But look at it all naked and vulnerable. We had to gut the car, repair and patch the rust take apart the suspension, prep for painting put everything back together and last but not least turbocharge it. Me and the boy's spent Friday to Sunday working on this car and damn what a weekend. The Color is a Charcoal Grey with the interior shell and engine bay is Spearmint. The style I went with was a unfinished look, by that I mean the car was painted properly but the bumpers were left it's fiberglass white, Lagano mentioned that a Type X bumper isn't unique so I took his criticism and bought a BN Sports Kit, THE MOST CLICHED KIT EVER it's not really an Official BN Sports but a kit that I bought from BC Racing, but in my opinion it looks good. Since I'm on the topic of customization I got some show rims which are Matte Doo Doo Bronze 17" Work Emotion M8R's, to make the car mine I wrapped the cylinder head cover in a floral design and I also garnished the car in some JDM and Hypebeast stickers and my screen name in a neochrome banner. I'll basically make a small list I'm to lazy to write what we've done. It was hell doing last minute shopping but, car part shopping FUCK at least it was worth it. I still have to dyno the car to see how much power it makes and get a proper tune, I am currently running the car with a used Haltech tune which is amazing. But look at it. I've spent a lot of money on this damn car and I'm gonna be having to work overtime and probably do some junior events to make some money |

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
Since it's a new year it means more money will be spent on...my...rides.....I hate being a car guy I'm not content.
Anyway for the new year I bought something to spruce up the FRS. A RB BODY KIT....replica I don't have the "pesos" to buy a real kit and it looks the same regardless. Earlier on I said I may engine swap the FRS and I've settled on the perfect swap. An LS1 motor. LS SWAP BRO. I chose the LS because of the facts, it's light, it's cheap, it makes crazy horsepower with or without forced induction, I mean the FRS is good with it's 200 WHP but I mean it needs some oomph not crazy oomph but you know some "cocaine" to get moving or in my case a Baboon heart any team Fortress Fans ?. Some of you guys suggested a Porsche Boxer but seriously -_-) where would I get one without selling a kidney. But I'm going for a Rocket Bunny kinda LS Swapped FRS. Besides updating the FRS, the 240 has been touched up and by that I mean a D Max hood, D Max Type 3 fenders, a new audio system and cut up rear fenders, the fenders were cut because when trying to drift the car the suspension is so soft the tires rub like a motherfucker so instead of rolling them I took a cutter and a hammer "Jeremy Clarkson Impression" and cut them out not my best work but it doesn't rub anymore that's where the fenders come into play to cover my shitty job and act as a huge band-aid, now that I think of it -.-) I'm gonna paint those body parts soon. That's about it, the FRS is at the shop and I'm just doing some minor DIY work on the 240. 2017 is gonna be great. This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2017-01-02 21:17, ago) |

New Build 2017The 240 is basically finished I got the body kit painted so the car is fully symmetrical, the only thing I may add mechanically will be a hydro e-brake other than that, it's gucci.
Now the FRS, I was able to get the engine sold for more than I thought it was worth, my mileage is or "was" super low at 8K, I got V$4,500 for it but sadly I sold the BBS LM's for V$1,800 a little more than how much I paid for it but it came with brand new tires so the buyer got a good deal . I went to the shop after work to go check her out and the body kit fits like a glove although being a cheap knockoff, there's some fucked up gaps but it's only noticeable up close. Now the engine, I've been thinking about the LS or a VQ35, I've been shopping online and in comparison I can get a VQ for a better price but the LS is guaranteed to not be a pain in the ass but the VQ is cheaper. Ugh. So this time I didn't really spend much which is nice to my pockets and I'm walking away with some money. Finances: 10,912+4,500+1,800= 17,212 # Hyped : Bet you wont put my company slaps on your car ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Bet!! This post was edited by Crazy Eighty Eight (2017-01-06 03:18, ago) |

New Purchase. So this weekend or today actually I bought another car, nothing crazy or anything but just a Honda Civic EM1. Reason being, as fun as having 240 is it kinda sucks as a daily. Since I'm thinking of doing Phantom Stance to my FRS I may need a normal car to commute around in just in case my inner self takes over and I do something I'm gonna regret. Now the Honda is a base model EM1 that came with a D16B5 and has been Lady Driven so it's in pretty good shape. It's kinda badass that she drove a stick shift, I always wanted a EM1 since using it when we were young ricers in the Need for Speed Underground series. I'm not gonna do much to it, I may want to swap a K20 or B18 just for a more powerful engine and a bit of a sleeper status. I paid V$2,000 and it's a pretty good deal if I do say so myself. The FRS has been sitting in the garage till I figure out what I'm doing with it, I had a plan and now it's muddied with so many ideas I want to go with so I want some advice. Style: (A) Street Car (B) Phantom Stance* or for people who are into the IG car scene k1ll1onaire's no fucks given FRS. Engine: (A) LS (B) VQ35 or (C) 2JZ I'm in a bit of a dilemma. One of my buddies got this sweet shot when we were hooning around in a parking lot.
Finances:V$17,212-V$2,000=V$15,212 |

.(B) Phantom Stance* or for people who are into the IG car scene k1ll1onaire's no fucks given FRS This Phantom stance you speak of is a style known as onikyan. It translates to "devil camber" as only a man possessed would drive a car with such ridiculous amounts of negative camber. The style originates from the motherland of Japan lol Also if you are looking for a K-series ill sell you mine from the Integra for the low haha. I am excited to see this em1 build as well as the frs! |

# FastCars : where are all the free rims for the sx coming from btw? The Black 5 Spoke Gram Lights were bought at V$800 with tires.
The Work M8R's were also recorded as purchased in the spoiler. "The White XT7's, the photo was a previous edit and I used it because it looked cool, for RP purposes my buddy loaned me his so I don't fuck up my own rims." All my "rim purchases" are always recorded. Oh and the RS4 I've seen AWD cars doing this it's not particularly a burnout, but the rear wheels are just not getting enough traction and the front wheels have to compensate for excessive wheel spin. # Sleepin mOnkey : Man you should mix the styles at the frs give he an nice stance but keep it usable as an daily. I don't know I like the "Devil Camber" of Phantom's RSX I'm surprised he hasn't got ticketed much.

UPDATEI'm renting a tiny warehouse to do work in by myself and, to park my rides, it's a 10 minute drive which is not a problem since it's close to where I work. I'll be spending V$200 in rent monthly. Remember when I wanted to get a K20 for my new sleeper build, well I got one thanks to Phantom but before I picked it up, I had the D16 removed in preparation for the transplant. I Spent V$1,000 on it which is a decent price, Thanks Phantom your Rexy's Heart shall not be used in vain. Since I'm doing a swap and I bought a Haltech Elite which set me back V$700. My sleeper is coming along well, so now to update you on the FRS. Now, I've asked for assistance in choosing what style to build my 86 and....I went straight up camber gang..wassup I just had to it looks so cleannn.. Now the rims SSR Vienna Courages 17x10 Metallic Silver they are used and have been re-coated so I got those with front 20mm spacers for V$800 before I forget I bought camber arms and aftermarket control arms from Eibach and spent about V$750, the coilover kit I bought earlier is fully adjustable, so getting this excessive stance was pretty easy. The other thing to do is get a motor LS or VQ is the question. Give me an answer bros. I'm thinking about carrying the 240 to another level or a version 2. Hmmmmmmmm Finances: V$15,212-3,250=V$11,962 |

Finished Build.....For NowThe K20 has been transplanted perfectly, the exhaust manifold had to be changed for the engine to fit perfectly, Drift gave me a plug for engine brackets so thats a win. I then bought some aftermarket parts, a Ktuned Exhaust system meaning, new headers and piping and a muffler to add a little more power. I also got a Ktuned Fuel Rail, one of the most popular rails put in K Series engines with a Magnus Intake. It's all good, I also had the Haltech installed and fiddled with to make a little more power with the current N/A configuration. On the dyno I made some pretty good numbers. 163BHP 119TQ I wanted a base number to compare with before I pump the fucker full of steroids, I wanted to just strap a turbo with stock internals, but with what I'm going with the entire engine must be worked on, Ported and Bored the fuck out, honestly thinking about it I'll just turbo it and then get more hardcore down the line. The Ultimate Sleeper Build needs some Deep Pockets. Yo Phantom we are gonna have to race soon bruh. But here's what I spent so far. The FRS is finally home.A lot of thought went into this purchase, but I think it was a good one, I bought a LS 1 from a 99 Trans Am and boy I'm hyped. I had to get a few more electronic components to wire it properly to the stock Toyota ECU and a little custom work for it to fit but so far I have not gotten any issue. It starts and it moves, the only thing I need to get is a custom exhaust system......the car is headers ONLY so it's LOUD AS FUCKING SHIT like Goddamn. But I'm happy my first car survived her surgery and slight makeover, it's not finished yet though. Now to my other beauty, the 240 was suppose to be a beater car but I just fell in love with it and had to make it look good, right now I sold the fake BN Sports Kit and sold the Work M8R's and used the change for these white Emotion XT7's, so the car is stockish looking with the Type X bumper and Stock rear bumper. I also sold the grill and fog lights off the Type X bumper, gotta make a little cash. I bought some Ganador Mirrors and slapped some more stickers on her, right now I'm thinking about a new version or evolution, there are so many kits and styles but I gotta think about it long and hard. But for now she'll stay in the cliche state....I'm working on it......still. And finally the EM1 the sleeper build, It's coming along well no new mods just as yet, but it's much faster than that D16. Right now the FRS and 240 are at the warehouse where as the EM1 is at home with me. So all in all I made and a lost a little bit of money this week, right now I'm praying for the end of the month. And my recorded finances in detail. |

Nice work on all of the cars! Are you gonna keep the LS1 N/A? And are you getting a Type-X Lip for that Front Bumper soon?
