Aye, my name is Mathieu. Im from Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. Recently moved to Anaheim, California for my job (got promoted). Hope to make a few friends! I know the car scene is c r a z y out here so i am looking forward to that!
(Lowkey shit at roleplay, bear with me)That being said here's my car I just bought out here. It is a '94 Civic. Pretty much stock. VERY good condition. Stock K24 (VTEC LYFE). (Cars are so much cleaner here compared to Manitoba!)It's got some Ebay coilovers and an Ebay brake kit. Nothing special. My plan for it: A 700 horse "sleeper". Enough talk though here's some pics: (BTW the reason im not doing salary based is i'm lowkey lazy af lol) |

This car stuff is putting a dent in my wallet!
Exhaust system and ITBs came in! Installed them shits right away. Also picked up a Wilwood brake kit. Ebay brakes were absolute assGot some workers of mine to fabricate a custom blast pipe to match the new exhaust! Exhaust and new throttles raised the power quite a bit! lol no driver lyfeMight take a while to make an update... Getting the motor pulled and getting it bored out! Super excited to get going on the race parts! This post was edited by therealkingmat (2017-08-17 17:31, ago) |

We are boosted!!!
Turbo is a Precision PT6062. Custom made manifolds. Damn turbo cost almost 2 grandRunning low/medium boost until I get forged internals. I'm gonna get it on the dyno soon. Guessing around 450HP-550HP. Turbo is rated for 750HP itself, plus over-bored block. I think it's a pretty accurate estimate. I'm gonna have to get a little lip to cover up the bottom of the intercooler. Shouldn't take long to come in. (sorry for lack of screenshots, not in the mood for editing rn) |

I thought that if i'm gonna be doing lots of work to the Civic, I have to get a daily soo... I love the car. It's fast, reliable, and VERY good looking. I will be making some changes to it but nothing to crazy haha yea right |

Please don't ruin your 86' with crazy cambers lol, but if thats what you like then go for it I guess. Also awesome numbers you pushed out of your Civic, it should definitely have around 400hp at the wheels in my calculations, get her dynoed ASAP, want to know those numbers haha.

Got the Civic on the dyno yesterday!
Only did 3 runs. Car made 436HP and 294 ft-lbs of torque! I'm pretty proud of the car, did very well! I'm looking into some race internal parts. Should be ordered soon! |

# Sleepin mOnkey : Great work on the civic dude Thanks!! Update on the '86. New headlights and taillights. I always liked the Valenti taillights. (even though EVERYONE has them lol) Also I got a RocketBunny Lip-wing thing. Should've painted it before i put it on but I kinda like the black. What do you guys think? A few things are on their way for the Civic. Once those come in it'll be time to get it on the strip. |

Time to reveal.
(Queue drum roll) looks a little messy under the fenders just dont mind that lolSo the 'kit' I put on here is a couple different brands and such. I went with all the different stuff because I didn't really like any of the 'full kits'. I really like how it turned out. And as you can see I collected some stickers and slapped them on there. TO DO LIST: - Rims and Tires (Coming soon) - Paint/Wrap - Exhaust Tip (To fit new bumper) - More Stickers *Give me some suggestions on what to do for paint/wrap. Really need some help figuring this out!* |

I present to you...
THE COTTON CANDY GT86 Rims are Rotiform ROC's wrapped in Toyo N888's. Had to get 1 inch spacers but that's okay. Also took off the exhaust tips until I get new ones to fit. Love how the wrap turned out! Will be doing a few things to the Civic soon... Here's another shot |

IT'S RACING TIME
Few changes to the Civic (not going into detail): - Racing Forged Internals (Crankshaft, Con-rods, Pistons) - New Rims (Watanabe 8 Spoke, 11s in front, 9s in rear) - New Tires (Drags in the front) The rims are a bit deep so they stick out, but I actually kinda like it! I also took it to the strip! My buddy got this sick shot of one of my burnouts! The car did well. Very proud of it! (1/4 Mile) Run 1: 10.118 s Run 2: 10.013 s Run 3: 9.782 s Run 4: 9.436 s Keep in mind that is medium boost and no tune! Pretty good for that if I say so myself! Will do much better once I get it tuned! |

UPDATE!!
I know it's been a while since the last update so i'm gonna fill you in with a few things. Sold the '86! I know i just finished a lot of stuff on it but unfortunately it had to go... lowkey my game save blew up... Kinda pissedFor now I am dailying the Civic (It will be going soon too... I know, so much sadness) I am looking for a new project car. Have a couple that have my attention. I want to get something bone-stock for a "clean slate", but I also want to get just a shell and start from scratch... I will figure it out soon! |

NEW PROJECT CAR!!
I went and looked at this SC300. I've had my eye on it for a while and I finally decided to buy it! So as you can see, it's a Lexus SC300. Needs a lot of work but that's what I wanted. #BuiltNotBought Got it for a very good price. Had to drive three hours for it though (doesn't bother me). The guy was starting to do some work but his girlfriend had a baby and he had to sell it. He did a good job on the bodywork. He replaced the whole front end. Interior is completely stripped. No engine or anything. Didn't have wheels but luckily I still had the old rims and tires from the Civic, so i just used those for rollers. Already found an engine for it. I'm gonna go take a look at it and possibly buy it. I'm planning on building it up to a street/show car. Will be very fun! Tomorrow I am ordering Headlights and Taillights, Seats, a few things for the interior. Gonna also do some work on the bottom end - Suspension and such. |

UPDATE
It's been a while since the last post and A LOT has happened. Sorry I didn't post updates through all of this. Just got really distracted with getting the engine together and everything. The Civic is now running race gas. Didn't change anything else. Only because I need it to be reliable right now. Now what's going on with the SC'? Still looks the same. But lots has been done... It now has a running engine! 2JZ-GTE (like i said). Full Brian Crower, 3.4 Stroker Kit. Greddy Turbo kit, with Mishimoto intercooler. HKS Blow-off valve. HKS 650cc fuel injectors. Arc Radiator, HKS transmission and oil coolers. Exedy triple-plate clutch. Used V160 Transmission (From the same guy i bought the engine from) The motor easily has 800HP as is. Needs a tune ASAP. If anyone has any good suggestions of where to get it tuned and dynoed, I would appreciate it! That's all for that. Now for the interior! Bride Brix seats. Still the stock steering wheel. But I ordered a new one and it should be here soon. Replaced the pedals with some 'race' ones. Bought a hydro e-brake, it isn't hooked up because the car doesn't have any brakes lol. And last I got that katana handle shift knob/stick. Will be getting brakes very soon. Since I kinda need those to drive the car. I am looking for some nice rims and tires but these are good for now. Again sorry for not posting in so long. Just been busy. |
