MEANWHILEword got to me that a local drift gang is selling a fairly built S13 SR20, and it needs to be sold ASAP.
i dashed over to their shop to take a look It's originally out of a 180SX, and i have a speclist of mods at hand
- Greddy T67 turbo - Custom 42mm top mount headers - Greddy intake manifold - Full HKS forged piston kit - Mine's VX ECU system (THAT'S A PLUS LMAO) - Greddy Front mount intercooler with piping - custom 3.5inch Straight pipe exhaust - SARD 750cc injectors - Exedy PRC stage 4 clutch - And an R33 GT-R Fuel pump. engine was built and dyno tuned around 2 months ago and made 412hp, 390lb-ft. runs like mint until it was taken off maybe 2-3days ago, because the owner wants to get rid of it quick and go RB25 on his S13.
Due to the urgency its being sold at V$ 3.7k
it's just the perfect drivetrain upgrade for the S14, only downsides being its not brand new, and its an S13 SR so no VVT. but rly for 3.7k, and the fact that its a pretty easy swap, I PULLED THE TRIGGER
They'll be sending it over to my place tomorrow. Cant wait to start dropping it in the S14 (and no, im not just gonna swap it in leave it at that. i still have 1 or 2 major upgrade plans for it) |

That sexy SR20DET but S13 engine bit less than S14 horsepower, so I think re-adjustment on the ECU may that give you a bit more gains horsepower but that my suggestion.

(also up for sale in Used Parts classifieds if you want it). waiting for the new engine which should be here in an hour or two, then i can start dropping that in.

AND IN WITH THE NEW!Just dropped the New SR in. Still gotta rewire everything and button up the intercooler and other parts, but she'll be alive again pretty soon! Also i got a pretty sweet deal on a WELD spark plug cover too
MEANWHILEI got a call from the paintshop saying the FC's quick makeover was done and went to pick it up
AND MY OH MY IT LOOKS LIKE A WHOLE DIFFERENT CAR
VERY happy with the results just unbolting and respraying the mismatched parts bought. just looking for some OEM rear seats and the car is DONE.
Anyway that'll be all for today. Tomorrow im gonna get a lotta work done on the S14 hopefully. Thanks for stopping by!

ALMOST RUNNINGHooked the intercooler and radiator on, and the ECU is also in place. Now it should just be some rewiring, put the exhaust on, oil and coolant change and done
Also new stickers from the bois at Sticky Rice cake shop came in. NO TIME WASTED IN PUTTING THEM ON
(i pushed the whole car out of the garage to take sticker pics kill me pls)
i GUESS i placed them in the right spots but thats not for me to judge lmao
Now as for the FC, i dont know what to do with it anymore
im just dailying it as of now while the S14 is not running. but afterwards, i dont want to drift it cuz it'll get beat up, aaaand i dont have any mods to do. might end up selling it for the best rly
Anyway, lets see where time takes us. That'll be all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

ALIVE AND WILD !! 域ツアヌRewiring, check
Exhaust hooked up, check Redoing fluids (Motul 5w40), check Looking through lastly for loose bolts etc., check. And now, ENGINE START!!What a relief this was, WHAT A HAPPY MOMENT THIS WAS! Checked for fluid leaks, nothing so far. with that, i took it for a small mild spin to test things out, expecting it'll now feel like a whole different car.
Upon normal mid throttle driving, it didnt feel that different. Just sounded a LOT different
This wasn't meant to be a high speed touge run, and it wasn't that but i HAD to rip one skid lmao. Just to see how she feels. So i did
And mY OHH MYYYY
I honestly wasnt expecting that much grunt from 412hp. lmao if i was too incautious i wouldve for sure spun off the guardrails.
but yeah lets not overjudge the car after one corner smh
im planning to take the car to Gunsai soon for a PROPER shakedown. But now, i went home, parked the S14, fired the FC up and went off to meet some friends (you'll see who soon OuO)
Anyway, thats all for now. Cheerios!

UPDATEBeen getting some offers for the FC nowadays
One of which was a WHOPPING 16K! Guy seemed like he wasnt joking or anything but i told him i'll think about it a few days ago, when he made the offer that is.
Called him today, Said he's still interested and will come to have a look at the car. If he REALLY loves it that much, he'll buy it on the spot, no amount changes.
Took the car for a spin on the local touge, may as well be my last time driving it. Lets see what happens

GOODBYE GUNMA!I've been wanting to move to Tokyo for quite some time now, due to a lot of my friends living in or close to tokyo. But couldn't because i didn't have enough money. Now that after selling the FC i have enough, i decided to do it.
My uncle used to live in Tokyo before in a small apartment before buying his house in Gunma. The apartment is now lying idle collecting dust so i can just claim it haha.
Packed up, loaded the trunk, took keys to the apartment, said goodbye to my uncle
2:30P.M., and off i pop! (praying to dear god that the car doesnt break down in a 125km drive)
Drove slow and responsibly just so i don't risk breaking the car. And thankfully it didn't have any problems
3:30 P.M., roadside burgerking stop for some eats
4:00P.M., On the highway, and it started to rain. Which of course SLOWED THE DAMN TRAFFIC DOWN
A lot of traffic pushing later, 5:12P.M., i have reached my uncles apartment in Tokyo.
A semi-long drive and rain involved has had its toll on the S14 haha
thing needs a wash ASAP now but thats for later. I moved in to the apartment, cleaned it up and went straight to sleep
That'll be all for now. Thanks for viewing! Lets see what Tokyo has in store for me now OuO
oh btw i've been looking at garages nearby for sale. I'll have to buy one very soon lets see. Finances: |

NEW WORKSPACE!(thank you again Radcoon)
Yeah, as you may have seen, Radcoon invited me to work on cars in his garage rather than buying a whole new place. Soo i gave the S14 a wash and drove over
He's currently at Osaka so he isnt here rn, but two locals were there. To wrench on their cars like myself lmao.
One of them had a sweet Toyota cressida with a basic 1JZ-GE swap
and the other a JZX90 Cresta. So far, IM FLIPPIN LOVING THIS PLACE! such a big upgrade from my uncles garage at gunma!
Parked the S14 up to one side and checked the engine bay around a bit, to find if anything has went wrong from the trip to tokyo. Only thing i noticed was that the oil cap was a bit loose. other things were fine
Also relieves me that the S14 won't have to stay out in the open outside my apartment anymore
Anyways, small-ish update today. that'll be all for now.
Just a quick heads up tho, im looking at a few new cars. One to daily drive and the others to build. Stay tuned for that! and as always, thank you for stopping by Added 57 seconds later: # Lagano : Congrats on the move! I will visit some more friends in Japan soon, first i will check out the shop in Tokyo so i might check out your S14 in the meantime Ayeee sure come over! i'm more than glad to meet up |

# Sleepin mOnkey : sick place indeed it is! Added 24 minutes later: FAIRLADY Z !!This was one of the cars ive been looking at. took a bus trip to kanagawa to check it out, liked what i saw, and now here we are!
My 2003 Nissan Fairlady Z!Its basically bonestock. Only "mods" being the '07 nismo wheels on Bridgestones, and the nismo plate holders.
Its a manual and has about 110,000 k.m. on the clock. a bit on the higher side but i dont mind haha What are my plans for it? you may ask.
Welllllll, this is my daily. Yes, a Fairlady Z daily. For mods i'll do some minor exterior stuff. a small spoiler, a front lip, some coilovers, and MAYBE a wheel change and exhaust too. but not more than that. Lets keep the daily a daily xD Back at Radcoons shop, tried my hand at some closeups of the badges
Gotta love that FairladyZ logo
Moving on to the interior, its pretty clean apart from some scuffs here and there bc of the usage, but theres a catch
It's a basemodel. Meaning no cruise control, no keyless entry, no fancy audio parts from pioneer or bose or smth, no satnav.
But hey, i can live without those PRETTY DAMN EASILY so again, i dont mind haha All in all, due to it being a basemodel and higher mileage, i paid 3200V$ for the car.
Dunno about y'all, but i've honestly been a fan of the Z33 for a while now. About time i got one!
That'll be all for now. Thanks for viewing!
Hope you like the Z as much as i do lmao This post was edited by Niatross (2018-08-26 21:36, ago) |
