V3 is very tidy, I really enjoy the sway bars and fix on the position of them! Mounted perfect on S13. V2 mounted in the cabin! lol
some on screens of the awesome!!! I am experiencing only one crash an it's on Tsukuba Circuit V3 stops the game, V2 did not have this bug. It's not much of a worry, anyone else experience this??? This is on 2.2.1MWM clean and decent modded one. Again not a worry! Everything else is amazing, the physics really add to the gaming of SLRR. *high five* |

Version 4+ hotfixDownload Still a test. Want to know what do you think about new tyre configuration. whats new: -Tuned tyres -More realistic under inflation -Reduced shock absorber damping -Added reset button when adjusting tyre pressure -Changed some of swaybar damping values -Really reduced brake force -fixed tyre pressure adjusting This post was edited by mindeliszz (2014-09-18 09:51, ago) |

I'll give V4 a try later this AM mate! About to fall asleep here. I bet it'll be legit, I will post some videos and not just of the bosozoku Silvia. I was thinking to demo V4 with S15, Chaser X90 and a old skool civic to exhibit grip performance. (Good spectrum of exhibition of V4)
Keep up the proper work ^__^ |

# Jesus Christ : what's with your driving camera angles? that look ridiculous.. hehe I'm used to Forza/GT5 with the locked view, my mate said it looked whack as fuck. I get thrown off with the camera ehhh sway I guess you could call it on exterior F3. I prefer fixed so I can get a better idea of clipping points, normally I game interior both FM/GT since FM3. I'll do standard exterior F3 view next videos. Tiiiiired and have academy in 4 hours, I'll let you know if I encounter the pressure bug. glad you resolved it! Night night fellas! ZzZzZZ |

cool, the tires are very good but they need a little less grip i think if thats what dont let a 400hp car burnout with first gear limited at 60ish kph. in other sims cars with 140hp can do burout no problem with 60 kph first gear(ex. LFS XRG).

So... I can't really see what's left to do Mindeliszz, or are you capable of impressing us even one more time?
Added 19 minutes later: Only thing I can think of is maybe a little program to config the cfgs to use swaybars. Like "if not any swaybar lines present, add these" But we need to something by ourselves some times so I don't mind :-) This post was edited by birger89 (2014-09-19 10:40, ago) |

Yeah, it's pretty much done. I'll try to improve suspension, set proper values and prices for swaybar, maybe make some adjustable swaybars and probably release RC version.
I thought about creating a program to edit cfg file. I can't promise you that i'll make it, but if i find some free time and motivation, then sure, why not If you have some cool ideas, feel free to post them here. Added 2 minutes later: And i have a crazy idea for shift 2 sounds xD |

Adjustable swaybars would be neat!
Had an idea about adjustable tc code for the tires in game, but then I realized it might not be possible(?) Guess there need to be a numeric value to change in the java and not a text, or am I wrong? |

Adjustable brake force for CMS brakes, would that be a good idea maybe? I love the stock brakes with your mod, but they are not even close to as good looking as CMS

i think there is something not right in suspension travel, thanks to your mod its now possible to remove shocks and springs and still have wheels attached, and when you go drive it on a track, the car will act like there still are springs there, maybe this is altering the expected handling, please investigate on this, if i remember correctly SL1 was not like this, when u remove springs and shocks the car will bottom, i cant verify tho. also, if u think its possible to have front suspension arms installed on the rear? can u do that with some scripting? i bet you the handling will be a bit better and it will look better too.
Also, im not really sure but i think, the tires have optimum slip angle too high and gives a bit unreal handling?(again im not sure) real street tires have optimum grip at 4-9 degrees, and this decreases with stickier tires. or its just maybe the tire grip model thats acts like half sine wave?... i really dont know why it still doesnt feel like its old brother... sorry for bothering you if i did This post was edited by JJayJameson (2014-09-20 03:31, ago) |

i know about bug without shocks and springs. i can fix it but then wheels just go into the ground, so i left as it is.
and of course tyres aren't realistic. it's very hard to make diveble and realistic physics, if it's even possible |

V4.5 on Ebisu with 1.5JZ PS13 using xbox 360 controller
I edited the values on a set of sway bars to be very stiff like the Largus 32mm front and 28mm rear this is a 190% stiffer front and 220% stiffer rear I used the formula 25000 x 1.9 and 25000 x 2.2 *LINK* best physics ever I'd say 4.5 is final? Can't imagine it getting better! It feels very Forza~ like which is fun! Especially if driving with PS3 or 360 controller. Some tuning and rescripting of the Kg/mm rating on springs makes a big difference with your physics mod as well as not running skateboard status suspension nms rating, most coilovers like Stance or DG5 are rated between 4700nms to 5500nms anything higher on dampening is asking for understeer of excessive oversteer. Some softer dampening with stiffer springs ties this physics mod completely together for a ultimate SLRR experience. Added 11 minutes later: # JJayJameson : i think there is something not right in suspension travel, thanks to your mod its now possible to remove shocks and springs and still have wheels attached, and when you go drive it on a track, the car will act like there still are springs there, maybe this is altering the expected handling, please investigate on this, if i remember correctly SL1 was not like this, when u remove springs and shocks the car will bottom, i cant verify tho. also, if u think its possible to have front suspension arms installed on the rear? can u do that with some scripting? i bet you the handling will be a bit better and it will look better too. why would you want only a single A arm suspension? mistersirs V2 arm rear is a Lower Control Arm with Rear Upper Control arm such as the design on the multilink system designed utilised by Nissan on the R and S chassis which allow a wide range of adjustability. Are you in search of more adjustability? I have a rescript of MisterSirs lower control arm set up that allows up to -50 camber and up to -40 to +40 of toe. example of a single arm would be the X70 Cresta/Cressida (trailing arm rear end) which only get more camber the lower it goes that is not adjustable! As well as very aggressive toe in (where from the top view the front of the tyre sits further into the wheel well, this makes it hard for an effective drift set up or grip due to odd tyre friction. Multilink allows tweaks to toe, castor deflection, and camber. you can see RUCA, LCA and toe rods in this exhibit by Part Shop Max. Figured this was on topic with physics :] This post was edited by Mister_Softee (2014-09-21 04:00, ago) |

I think that the behavior of that multi link rear suspension you talk about is the same as swing axle, the 3d model only is higher poly with nice details, i dont think it behaves like real multilink, i also dont think positive camber it generates when rear hops during a bump in a corner is good for speed/grip, also negative camber caused by rear weight transfer is not very good for acceleration becauae of a smaller contact patch, i Never saw swing axle in a racing application, so mcpherson is better here because it has less flaws than swing axle which seems to be the type of suspension that the rear suspension is modeled after in SLRR. In a nutshell, i think rear suspension is badly modeled.

Hey man, I have a quick question. I love what you have done it has made my experience with slrr X10. Though when I am drifting it seems that it doesn't want to swing out as much 500+ hp it just wanting to go straight and I get massive amounts of understeer Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
