So I arrived at Japan and I'm hopefully going to setup shop here, and do the same stuff I've been doing in the US.

Was today @CA garage to see the progress on the B5.The old 1.6 is out.In the upcoming days they will start preparing the engine bay for the new V8 mounts.Hammer will be our main weapon in the upcoming days to make some room for the new V8 engine .
BTW the 1.6 Audi engine will be for sale. |

Ok i have few updates.I am every afternoon in the CA garage working and helping Haku with the swap of my V8.Right now we finished the bolts for the trany. So basicly we can start with making new engine holders and other bolts for the swap and then put the engine inside. Will update as we progres, but for now just another image from the shop.

Todays Update:
So we were hard on working on the swap.I now have S4 brakes all around and S4 trailing arms.Rlly happy with that, am curiouse how it will handle once it comes back to the street. And a small sneak peak, we test fited the new rims to see how it will look. D-O-P-E ! The engine is in place together with the trany, the new holders shuld be ok, for now it all sits as it shuld. We basicly now work on the engine, its in ok condition, but we need to service it, oil is rlly old and all the gaskets are going to be replaces same as all other filters. After that its just the electrical part to make the clusters and all othger elements like fuel pump to work properly with the new engine.I am still thinking about it but i kinda wana for the first stay with the stock ECU.Shuld work the best with the stock one.More info in the upcoming week. For now some pics from the shop. |

Been fun working on it, it's going to be an amazing machine once it rolls out of the shop under it's own power.
(Side note, sorry for being absent from the thread and forum in general, been super sick for almost a month now on and off, and when I'm not sick I'm working, and when I'm not working I'm working on other things. Will try and be back a bit more, glad to see scooby has been updating here and keeping the thread somewhat active as I haven't been able to. Cheers everyone.) |

I really need the ABS pump or replaced on my Corrado, locking brakes aren't fun, also maybe an ECU tune, I downloaded a tune from the internet for the particular Supercharger that I have on it, but the ECU tune is not something I particularly need, the ABS pump is somenthing I need fixed ASAP!

So basicly the engine is in place, it works and has been completly owerhauled. It has a manual 5speed trany. It has S4 trailing arms and full S4 brake swap has been done.It still sits on the Ebay coils but they are ok and they give a nice drop.Rims are exclusive Rotiform AVV's in 18x9 all around wraped in 225/35 Dunlop Direza's provided by VStanced Garage.I will play with the owerall fitment and small adjustements to my liking in the future.Next up is the registration.Shuld be in 2-3 days.I have to say big thanks to "Crown Autoworks" for the work they did there, and big thanks to Haku for spending plus hours in the garage to make it work out.Lets hope for alot of safe and good miles on it.

# skip : If you can with the exhaust (that i just added), I will go here alot more. I'll get my specialist to manufacture you a custom exhaust for cheap, give your MR2 a more violent sound ;). Also found an AWD trans out of a Honda CRV that was swapped to a RWD. The exhaust is gonna be V$210 and the trans is V$750. So a total of V$960.00 I'll pay shipping |

When Scooby's car came into the shop, it really made me set my mind on what I wanted to do with the E36 Touring. It was an idea at first but since he was doing it, I decided I'd also do a V8 swap on my previously non V8 euro. I present to you, my S62 swapped E36 Wagon.
Car is not in running order, hence why the front end is not in yet. Some bits are test fit, it still needs all the wiring to be done, cooling system, fluids, etc. But the engine mounts have been made and fitted so it's down to the tedious little things. Easier than making a big engine fit and also run an awd system, but still a mission. Can't wait to have this thing run with the custom header's I made for it. Going to be mental. |
