Ok so i downloaded this Pontiac gto '69 but it has ugly judge decal on it which i want to remove...its not paintjob its placed on the car already when i buy chasis...

You can propably remove it thru editing textures

find your car data folder, find the textures sub-folder, find the texture that contains the logo, edit the texture in photoshop to remove/replace the logo(in the same possition as it will be UVW mapped) and it should be gone.. in theory that texture will have opacity map so if you just replace it with a clear png picture it will be empty.

yeah but textures are .dds and even when converted to jpg they doesntlook right
ok found it and deleted but now it looks like this do you see the dark grey spots? And if i delete everything from this texture file and leave it empty it looks good but when i put a new decal in that place its darker than it should be so still not good This post was edited by zgredek (2014-08-03 07:08, ago) |

Try editing it in photoshop by erasing the texture but still saving the file
