I took out the engine & removed fleetside from the pickup C10, just to use these later on the C10 sub just in case. If anyone is interested, now the rest of the car is for sale. Important note: it has very much rust. You can be owner of it for 1k

I'm also probably going to sell the silverado as I don't need that car (I've got oldschool suburban, why would I need that?) It works great, no big problems. I'll give you stock suspension with it if you're going to take it for 4k.

Why am I selling my cars? I need money to work on my house & I don't need so much cars. If anyone REALLY wants my R34 GTR (electrical issue with turbo's) for 14k. GTR has Stage 2 crankshafts & Stage2 pistons etc.

I am incredibly tempted to buy this from you, but I have too many cars already. I'll take it off your hands for the 1000 you want, if only for something to part out for a different C10 :)) I'll have it towed from your shop.

One month has passed and the Lancer is a rolling chassis now. I installed a Skunk2 Suspension, a Brembo brake system and Rotiform wheels. Brake lines + brake booster are in place now. Also found a wrecked Lancer Evo 9 with the engine fully intact. I still need to figure out the wiring since I don't have the schematics. All parts exept the brakes are used parts.

Hi there people!
I got good news about the e36. I got it back from the paintshop and they did a great job as expected. I went with a gloss black paint which I think fits the car really good. Sure it doesnt show all its lines but whatever. It looks good in my eyes! I took a quick picture of it outside Dxg's shop and it reminded me how much has changed about the car. I mean, it went from a boring grannymobile with a tired engine to a streetsweeper which I can take long trips in and not have to worry about the engine failing on me. I gotta say im happy how it turned out!

Anyway, enough about that.
We didnt waste no time once the car was in the shop. Before any dyno-testing began I had some parts to install. I didnt have time to do it back at my shop but Dxg was nice enough to lend me some space and let me work through the night with installing the parts. I began by changing the injectors. Previously I had 400cc injectors and were running 98 octane gas. Well, that didnt cut it for me so I bought a set of FIC 750cc injectors and went ahead and got them installed. Along with that I also upgraded the fuelpump and got braided fuel lines. I should have got that before with the old setup but I didnt bother. The biggest change, atleast to the fuelsystem, would be converting to methanol. I've never ran it before and wanted to try and I thought what better way to start then with this!

Oh, I also upgraded the turbo. Instead of running with the stock RB26DET turbo I instead picked up a Garett GT35R. I bought it used but you can barely see it. Anyways, I got that installed and turned the boost up to 2.50 bar(37 psi). I would like it to be reliable as i'm using this as a daily on and off. Obviously not with the shitty tune it had but before that.
About the tune. As stated above I went to Dxg's shop to get the car tuned. We fiddled around a whole lot with the air/fuel mixture to try to make it run efficient yet pack a punch when I floored it(which happens from time to time). We eventually found a nice setup to where it's not pushing any parts limits. Remember, I wanted a reliable car yet a fun car for the streets. After that minor job we looked over everything in the tune. Every single calculation to make sure it was good and ready for the dyno. Everything looked good so we went ahead and did the first dyno-pass of the evening. We got 594,5 hp which seems like alot but I knew it had more coming. SO, Dxg started changing a whole lot of stuff which to me looked like a whole lot of letters and numbers and crazy dialogs and just a bunch of stuff I couldnt understand. Thankfully the car was in good hands!
Once it was ready for it's second dyno-test the suspense was killing me. I couldnt stop thinking about the engine blowing up, generally negative stuff that would happen. Thankfully that didnt happen. Once we got the result I couldnt believe the results. It went from 594,5 hp to 643hp and 424 ft-lbs of torque. It seemed crazy since everything we did was adjusting the tune. We even ran multiple times afterwards to see if it was a consistant number and it sure was! With this great result I couldnt wait to shred some rubber but it was still a little bit to early for that. We had to see how it performed in normal street driving so we went to pick up some food. No suprises, the car ran smooth the whole way. The one thing I noticed was the throttle response. Man, it took of! Even at half throttle it still gave you a kick in the ass. With that said, we went back, I picked up my stuff and headed home. Thanks Dxg, I really apreciate the time and effort you put in to make the car perfect. You know ur my go to guy when It comes to tuning now right?

I was at dxg's party too! And I tried out the dyno for the only working car I had, before I got the new car! And that's the Skyline!

Okay, I lied. I didn't detune the car, I just changed the bodykit.

Sup guys, the other day an older gentlemen walked into the shop looking to get rid of a "clunker" he had and was wondering if we wanted it for parts and stuff so my boy Mike (shop owner) said yes. Few hours later he brought this. FOR FREE!

He said the cars was involved in an front end accident a few years back and the stock engine blew up so he replaced it but gave up on the whole thing. After he left Mike told me that this car would make the perfect DD for me. So off I went snd placed the Lexus on the classifieds and started looking for parts on Joe's list. Mike tried to start the engine but... Well, it was no bueno, the engine was crap. So we removed it.

I was sad because I knew this would involve more money than what I had and my wife would kill me if she found out I was spending money on stuff again (She wont let me drive the Fit until I learn my lesson :( ) So Mike, being the good guy he is, told me he would loan me the money and call his contact at Central Valo Engine Works to get me a new engine. Meanwhile I placed the car on the lift and took the wheels out.

EW stock brakes! At least the suspension seems to be good. Good thing we had a (used) disc brake conversion kit around from a customer that had upgraded his. And voila!

Few days later Mike received a call, my engine was done! So I hopped on his truck and off I went to pick it up...

No pictures of the engine yet. You guys will have to wait till I install it to see what we did :D

So, some interesting things happened recently.

1. I sold the CRX.

2. Warning, this bits a big one. I was offroading with my buddy in his nice ass Silverado:

And when we stopped to get some gas and other stuff, I noticed something poking around the corner:

I go for a closer look and it's just what I thought it was: a 240z. Me being me, I asked the gas station owner about it. He explained how his son was going to rebuild it, but he got sent to the Gulf in Desert Storm and didn't come back. He said he wanted it out of his life, so four-hundred bucks and a case of beer later:

Yeah, I was actually able to break the tires in a SOHC L24 that's been sitting for twenty years. And this is how he Z is now:

My SO probably hates my guts. So, what should I do with it? I was thinking about resto-modding it, but I'm not too sure.

Mmmmhmmmmhmm! I got me a Lexus!

Who made this possible? Zerito of course! He gave me his Lexus for 1000$! I now have a new daily.
First, I got rid of the old wheels, and picked up some new rims for me on the way home.

Some updates on the GS300- I finally got it to the garage to finish off the repairs. I re-ran the intercooler piping with a new front mount, foreign used bumper and hood and some newish fenders. I also got the bad scratch off of my wheel but it's still going to be repainted, as well as the rest of the car.

Straightened out the front end as well as installed new piping and a new intercooler.

New body parts. She's starting to look great again.

The scratch isn't really noticeable but I'm still repainting the wheels.

So we got the engine installed this morning...

Its a supercharged i4 good for around 460HP on premium gas, with some tunning I bet it can go higher but this is my DD so not doing that.

Also got the hood and some wheels installed. Now with the money Faceapalm gave me for the Lexus Im going to get the little things that are missing.

@dxg Can you shorten a driveshaft for me? I have a Evo 9 driveshaft (front to rear) but it is a bit too long.
The engine itself is in now but I still have no wiring. I'll try to find a complete harness for the engine and the rest of the car. I'll also try to find a dash for it.

Added 23 minutes later:

So, I've sold my pickups & GTR went to dealership. I only had Suburban C10 as my daily, but I needed some racecar, more likely drift car or something. My friend Lennie likes to swap shit out of cars, I went to his place to ask what he has got. I bought used S13 that is running on natural 4A-GE. But why there's not SR20 or CA18? S13 itself had custom SR20DETT (si, twinturbo) but it caught fire. At that time Lennie had only spare 4A-GE left as he used 1JZ in a Miata.
Other info about S13:
  • Wisefab custom arms
  • KSport slide control drift suspension (I have to change front shocks, as they're bit too big for that low car & can break when steering is fully locked)
  • Welded diff (stock diff)
  • RS Watanabe's with quite slippy tyres
  • Tinted windows

other side there's quarterpanel & door in the color of the hood, as they're replacement parts after the fire. I think it'll become missile or something anyway. I'm now going after H&R ultra low shocks as they're much shorter & better for my car.
current discussion about my car looks reminds me 240Z project from Stanceworks: "why do you always buy cars that only look good from one side?"

So a little bit ago I bought Coprone's C10 pickup because I had a lead on another C10 that I could work on and I wanted to have some backup parts just in case something was worse than I thought.

    Picked up the C10

(Not the same colours, I know, but I wasn't focusing too much on that :)) )

Then I found this crazy truck

C10 Crewcab with 257K kilometers on it. Previous owner did some body work on it and painted it about a year ago, but then used it as a parts truck because he found one with much lower KMs on it. This is how it sat, and even though it had driven a lot, the condition of it is pretty damn amazing. Missing bits, though.

So I took some bits and pieces from the single cab that I bought from Coprone and put them on

one LS2 motor install later and I drove it around the block.

Then I did what I'd obviously do, which is put it on air. This was very easy because the previous owner already had an air setup on it, but took it off when he parted it out. Pretty much mount and go for this install.

and I also installed the missing headlight + a front bumper that I found for a good price that I cleaned up.

This thing is honestly mean. I'm now looking for a fleetside bed. We will see where this goes, but I'm already in love with how crazy it is.

    Do it for the ratchets
