Hey guys, this is my first topic on the site and I am pretty un-familiar with how VStanced works so please go easy.

I am trying to find out how to make my in-game screenshots look very nice. I know that you must use an ENB of your choice but still, my game just doesn't make the screenshots look any good.

What am I forgetting? Are there like certain settings I need to tweak, special reflections downloads? Also, what might be the best program to use to capture the screenshots. Thanks guys.

P.S. If there is already a "How to" on this topic or something, please just direct me to that.

Yeah to begin, there's 2 threads that deal with getting help in situations just like these- *LINK* OR *LINK*
Secondly, you do not have to use an ENB for your game to look nice. I personally have tried ENBs and I prefer my game without them.

As you can see, you don't need an ENB for decent graphics.
It would help if you listed your setup,or more specifically the model/type of your GPU. To simply put it, max out your SLRR graphics settings- EVERYTHING should be maxed out. Then, if you have an AMD GPU you can ensure your Catalyst Control Center is up to date, then you can enter it and raise all of the 3D/Graphics settings there. It's the same exact procedure if you have an Nvidia card except it's Nvidia Control Panel. Use that + a good time of day/time of night and decent photo composition and your screenshots will look great, provided your GPU is decent enough to give a nice output. That's literally all there is to it- no ENB, no Photoshop, just pure SLRR is great enough.

Hey dude, thanks for the quick reply.

My processor is an AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core and I have a NVIDIA Ge-Force GTX-670 GPU.

Hope that helps.

The GTX670 is pretty nice. What's your native resolution?Crank up your SLRR to it, force the graphics settings with Nvidia Control Panel and you're set.

Native Resolution is 1680 x 1050. SLRR is running on it currently.

[EDIT] What version of SLRR are you running. Or what is the best to run for screenshots and so on.

I can't say which is better than the next, but I will say that BB's SLRR is by far the most decent version of SLRR that I've tried so far (I've tried around 10 different versions of SLRR.) Get it from the DL section and try it out. Great res btw, your setup is 10x better than mine so your graphics would look damn nice when you get everything set up.

Well that's good to hear and I already have BB's SLRR so that's good.

Do you know any good programs for screenshots? Like, what do you use? Also, what about graphics mods?

Screenshots are taken with F12 in game. No need for FRAPS or anything like that, as for graphics have a look in the downloads and choose which Textures etc you want to use.
Roleplaying is only for the bedroom.

^Addon textures and all of that crap are unnecessary for BB's SLRR imo.
But yeah, F12 for the screenshots, and then use a converter program of your choice to convert it to either png or jpeg, whichever you choose. I use a program call convertshots.exe and it converts it to jpeg. Message me if you want the link.

I have the ENB for the second pic but screen is blurry. Help? I'd like a converter, the one Shaforostov comes out strained and blurry. {I apologize if I chopped your name.} Does the Converter have any settings for max output?

That's not an ENB in the second picture. It's just blur that was added in GIMP. I used to have an ENB just for the Occlusion but now I don't use it anymore (It was literally an ENB setting created by me that adds occlusion alone and nothing else.)

Pretty sure that you wouldn't part blur the wheel if it was GIMP. Not an attack on you Marlon just that second picture has some sort of ENB if you will creating the blur/DOF effect in game, main reason why I don't use an ENB because they suck balls on my computer.
