What is up guys,
I'm Lennart a.k.a Renaruto, I'm 21 years old and I live in a town called Osnabrück located in Niedersachsen, Germany. At the moment I have a normal office job at a relativley big print shop. I just finished my apprenticeship and offically started working there. Since I started my apprenticeship I saved up a lot of money for my first car. 20.000$ to be exact which might sound rediculous but I actually managed to keep it. Right now I only have my bike and the busses to get around the place. But I finally found something that is worth to be my first car. A MIATA! I've actually just found it when I wanted to get back home from work. It was sitting at the side of the street in the old town district without any license plates. I wondered why it didn't have any plates and began to check the car out. I mean the car looked to be in a really great condition.. When suddenly the owner came by and asked me if I was interested in the car. We began to speak about the car and what's special about it. This Miata itself might not look special but when you go into the details there's actually something really cool about this thing - the suspension. It actually comes with some new-ish Koni coilovers and some custom fitted Brembo calipers of a 350z. The tires are new aswell. Only bad thing are those no-name 5 spoke rims.. But they do the trick for now. Overall it was a really great offer so I took it for 4.800$. But it obviously had to have some problems.. It didn't run and I obviously didn't have any plates... We tried everything to start the car but it just didn't do anything.. The alternator is probably effed.. oh well.. So I had to pay 200$ extra to get the car towed to a garage of a good friend of mine and to get a new alternator. What a nice start. Finances: 20.000$ - Car 4.800$ - tow truck costs 110$ - new alternator 90$ = 15.000$ EDIT: Totally forgot to tell you something in case somebody wanted to ask this. Yes it is an actual US model. For some reason they're actually quite common in Germany. Probably because they look sooo much better with the US sized plates. This post was edited by Renaruto (2016-09-01 14:15, ago) |

No shit, that's awesome! You told me about this just a few days ago and you actually bought it! If you ever need some help with it, I will try to provide the little knowledge I got But since we're literally owning the same car now, I guess both our knowledge will grow. We could meet up for a drive sometime, too. And for the most important question: Engine and Diff?
Oh, also: you wanna buy a tan softtop or some Mazdaspeed replica wheels? :v Looking forward to hear more of this car |

First of all, thanks Mikingo.
I already got some updates on the Miata. We finally managed to tow the car to my mates garage. We tried to start it again but no way it's starting without an new alternator.. So I have to wait until a new one gets delivered (the one that I bought earlier today ^^). I can't drive the car anyways since it's not registered yet. So I have to wait on that aswell. :3 But I wanted to get atleast something done so I removed the softtop since I want to get a hardtop. (The softtop is up for sale on the used parts if anyone is interested.) The hardtop looks so much better IMO. I also want to get some new rims aswell since those no name ones look kinda dull and boring.. Added 7 minutes later: # Hinata23 : No shit, that's awesome! Engine wise I'm probably just gonna upgrade the intake system first. I have to see where I can get some parts for cheap. :v (inb4 ebay parts hehe) Probably gonna get a new diff aswell.. About the parts.. I'm not interested in the softtop :3 But maybe I'll take the rims.. Dunno yet This post was edited by Renaruto (2016-08-31 15:24, ago) |

I got some really great news... I've bought some new rims!
After I sold my old rims to Lagano I obviously had to get some new ones. Changing the rims on a car is probably one of the easiest mods to do... But it can also get really expensive in terms of the rims themselfs.. I started on the front left side. Here you can guys can get a better view on the Koni coils and the 350z brake calipers. If you're asking yourself what rims I ended up getting - here's your answer. SSR Star Sharks. Yes. You heard right. That's why I said that it can get very expensive. Because the rims are in a amazing shape the previous owner wanted a lot of money for them. 900$ to be exact. I did a quick test fit before I mounted some new tires on the rims. BTW the rims are 15x10. I wanted some small but wide rims so they're perfect. For the tires I choose Toyo Proxes T1-R since they perform really well and are really reliable. I payed 200$ for a new set of those. When I mounted all of the rims on the car I noticed something. It needs MOAR LOW! The Koni coils are really great but with them I can't get the car low enough... So I probably need some new coils :v I mean it's not that bad but it would look sooooo much better with a low suspension. Overall I'm really happy that the rims fit so well on the car. Let me know what you guys think about the new rims! Finances: 15.000$ + sold rims to Lagano 100$ + sold roof to Hinata 200$ - 900$ for a set of SSR Star Sharks - 200$ for a new set of Toyo Proxes T1-R = 14.200$ This post was edited by Renaruto (2016-09-01 14:23, ago) |

I can't believe that this finally happened.. The car is up and running!
So.. I finally got the car registered, installed the new alternator and got a hardtop (for 400$) aswell! It's from a white NB Miata. The hardtops from the NB and the NA are almost identical. You only have to get a mounting kit and an adapter for the window heat stuffwhateveritscalled. :v Had to pay another 120$ for that.. (Jeez this build is getting expensive xD). And yeah the roof is white but I think it really suits the british racing green so I don't think I want to get it painted or wrapped. I could finally take the Miata for a little drive on the countryside of Osnabrück. It's so awesome to drive! :3 Those Toyo's grip so hard. Oh btw. I did some tire lettering with a white sharpie! I also got rid of the rather cheap looking stickers that the previous owner slapped on the windshield and got myself this awesome looking "Katakana Speedhunters" banner. (2.50$ for that) In case if you're asking where the efff that pillow is from.. My mate (the one that lets me use his garage) thought it would be a funny idea to give me this dakimakura as a little gift for finally getting my car up and running.. oh well xD (I hope no one gets offended by that.. inb4 ironic post about getting offended kek) Next step is to get a new exhaust system and maybe some new coils.. But yeah that's it for now! Finances: 14.200$ - 400$ hardtop - 120$ mounting kit for hardtop - 2.50$ windowbanner = 13.677,50$ This post was edited by Renaruto (2016-09-02 23:28, ago) |

Soo.. uhm.. yeah.. This just happened..
I already said on ramalhinho07's post that it could be possible that I probably will get a S13 someday in the future... well.. I present to you.. My new 240sx! You might be thinking: "What's so special about this 240 that it made you buy it?" First of all - as you guys should know I live in Germany.. And this is a 240sx.. I guess I just have the luck finding US imports I mean overall it just looks like the typical 240 drift slut.. Atleast thats what the previous owner has called it. And yeah it looks pretty rough. The parts that he put in doesnt make it particularly better.. Some cheap-ass ebay coils, knock-off Work CR-01 replicas, a rocket bunny ducktail (probably a replica aswell) and a huge fart can in the back.. And it doesn't even have the piece between the tailights.. Atleast it came with some proper Pontenza's on those CR reps.. But why did I choose and buy this thing? It can't be just because it's a 240.. Well it's definitley not the interior. Everything is stock in there except that Nismo steering wheel.. Don't know if that's real either.. The interior also smells a bit like.. uhm.. "green tea".. The actual reason why I bought it... ...is the engine! It comes with a freaking SR20DE! I mean sure it doesnt have a turbo but who cares? I was so freaking hyped when I saw this! (Battery is in the back in case you're wondering) The car ran 198.000km which is a decent amount (The SR20 has about 40.000km). So we were talking a bit more about the history of the car and how all this came together and after this we finally discussed the price... 3.500$! I never thought I would get it for this cheap.. Even tho the car was standing for about one and a half years.. But yeah... Let me know what you guys think about this! BTW haven't done anything to the Miata so far. I've just enjoyed how well it is driving :3 Finances: 13.677,50$ - 3.500$ for a freaking SR20 swapped 240sx! = 10.177,50$ |

Hey guys (and maybe girls.. who knows.. :P),
It's been almost a week since I've last posted on here, mostly because nothing really happened to the cars. Just got some goodies for the Miata. But I actually moved to another place in Osnabrück. I read about this place in the newspaper.. It has a 2 car garage! So now finally I can keep both my cars at my place. I don't have to leave one of them at my buddies garage. I had to grab some equipment for the garage because I basically didn't have any tools.. Just some basic tools for about 120$. But I also lend me some stuff from my friend. So.. The goodies that I talked about earlier are actually some parts for the interior. I got myself some used Bride Zeta III (Dunno why I got two.. I don't even have a passenger.. heh :v). Both for 1.300$. The guy who sold me those also gave me a used steering wheel and a boss kit (a adapter that you need to install this type of wheel) for about 150$. I sold the old seats and the steering wheel on a scrapyard for 200$. There are some new stickers on there aswell. Made some of them myself (The ones with Mio from K-On! and Akeno from Highschool DxD... yea.. Call me a weeb.. idc). ... I just love stickers! Nothing really happened on the 240. Just left it like this in the garage. So far I only had to fix and repaint the boot since it had some rust underneath and I wanted to get rid of the holes of the Rocket Bunny wing. And.. I guess its kinda obvious what I'm planning on to do when I remove the bumpers. But I guess that's it for now! Finances: 10.177,50$ + 415$ Paycheck + 200$ sold old parts - 120$ Tools - 40,50$ stickers - 1.450$ seats and wheel - (2.000$ new wheels) = 7122$ ... oh chit |

Oii m8s,
Got some updates on the 240! I sold my CR-01 reps to my buddy David_2709! I hope you like them! But I also got a package from Enjuku Racing. A brand new Type X front bumper! *Link* (yeah, yeah.. I know.. It's only a rep but... idc :v) 300$ for that. Also the rims that I bought off Ramalhinho07 finally arrived. Since they are 5 lug rims and my 240sx has only four.. I had to get a 5 lug conversion kit by ISR Performance *Link* (400$) and some new brake discs (200$). A 5 lug conversion is really freaking expensive but I think it's worth it in the long run. It took me quite a while to get the old hubs off but I managed to get it done.. somehow.. :v Did that on all four sides and also mounted the new VS-KFs that I got. I also test-fitted the new Type X front bumper. It fits really, really well! Finances: 7122$ + 300$ for the old rims - 300$ for the Type X front - 600$ for 5 lug hubs and brake discs = 6522$ |

My Miata finally got it's "MOAR LOW"- treatment. :v
I'm selling my old Koni coils (ad is on the used part thread) because i've got some used H&R Ultra low for 850$! This is how they looked without lowering the coils. I forgot to make some pics in the daylight how it looks with the current setup.. I took it for a little spin on some mountain roads.. It drives soo freaking awesome :p But something arrived for the 240 aswell! I got some genuine, used Type X sideskirts for 400$ (... I'm paying way too much for that POS 240 xD) Need to get them painted tho. Finances: 6522$ + 470$ paycheck - 850$ H&R coils - 400$ Type X sideskirts = 5742$ This post was edited by Renaruto (2016-09-17 23:49, ago) |

YEEBOIII - Wow... My 240 looks like all those other W.I.P. s-chassis now.. mismatching colors and all that..
Oh my god.. My 240 is finally starting to get some shape. And I actually got some more packages from Japan aswell. But first I'm going to show you some other changes that I've done to the car. I finally got rid of those hideous US-spec side markers. We don't need those on our cars in Germany so I'm allowed to remove them. I also decided to throw the rear bumper and fart can back on just to make it look a bit more complete. ;D And as you can already see - I got my hands on some used Type X rear lights and the middle piece for 550$. It might sound much but that's actually a pretty decent price if you ask me. I also bought these fenders. They are made by Origin Lab and are called "180SX Tatakidashi (fender pull) +30mm fenders" *Link* and they cost 340$. They look pretty simple and you probably wont notice them after the car gets painted but thats what I actually wanted. All I had to do is to cut a bit of the rear fender and then fit the overfenders in the right position. After everthing was finished I could finally try to get a better fitment with the new wheels. So I decided to look at the ebay coils that the 240 came with and if could get them any lower. I don't want to slam the car since I wanna use it as somewhat of a daily and go to drift events in the near future. When I finished lowering the coils I thought it would be a good idea to park the car outside of the garage and take some pics with the new setup. Ahhh.. It looks sooo good with those VS-KF <3 ;D Thanks again to Ramalhinho for selling them to me haha Finances: 6342$ - 550$ Type X rear light and middle piece - 340$ overfenders = 4852$ |

Saying "Mexico" is just a little joke since Mexico doens't have any rules against street racing. So that's why a lot of people say that they did stuff like this in Mexico xD |
