Decal quality depends on the car's mapping and texture detail settings.

# meskis : fisrt of all, texture settings are maxed out?Yes, they are. The CCC's settings aren't maxed, because some how it won't work currently (says I don't have any graphic card installed to my laptop, thought it has!) The overall quality is good/OK. But only the decals look REALLY cr*ppy. @Drifter92 - Well, might be so. I'll try to other cars the decals. If the decals look bad at all cars - then it's just about the graphics settings / decals bad quality. Thanks for replying (both of you)! |

Easiest way is that you repaint one part in different color, use one progrram wich rename all files (add jpg extension) and then you find repainted part (it will be color in which you repainted part). Do not forget to save paintjob. Then use tool for changing picture resolution and change it to 1024x1024 or even higher. save the file and rename all files back to previosuos name (delete jpg extension). go back to game and load a paintjob, choose a color copy tool and past color on all parts.
But if you have low end PC it will cause a lot of lagging. I think this is the quickest way to have better paintjobs. I hope i didnt forgot anything... |

Easy way?
Save different colors in 1024x1024 on your registration. plate as a PJ When i want good base for for decals, just load color and copy/paste from the plate;) If you are "PaintMan" you need more base colors. |

Well i tried from one different tutorial for a while ago where yi had to name all parts and edit them separately and make part after part.
Btw that with registration plate is good idea. But how it works for cars without slot for plate? |
