Hey there,
well pretty much everyone knows what I do in PS, so no long introductions here. Instead here is my latest wip, started it about 30 mins ago and thought I'll share it with you guys. This is with only one set of highlights and shadows so in the very beginning.

yup, that's the one. Havent had time to work on it much, as my real Work and Life are constantly getting in the way.
 anyhow, I'm opening the file now, so updates soon. Added 1 hour 38 minutes later: As said before...frustration thread, after an hour and a bit more, I have this. exhaust is a bit wonky and the paint is giving me troubles, I gotta think of something. anyhow, thanks for the support guys, it keeps me motivated.

what resolution do you use when you design from sratch on ps? i usually start with a "sheet" of 6000x4000 or more

I'd go for 6000x4000 with pleasure, BUT as it would pretty much kill my PC, im working in 1600x1200 atm.
Pen tool is mandatory for clean curves. But as for technique, I use my own blend of vector and brushing techniques. I like it. anyhow, spent some time to put in little details underneath the bumper. Was a bitch to do but was worth the effort IMO.

finally managed to find some free time for this.
 updates may be slow, but at the same time, this makes me enjoy working on this even more. |

So I had some free time and decided to fire up MAX again.
This is still a very early WIP, rendered on low settings. I need some details to make it more alive. C&C appreciated, I'm pretty n00b at this.

LOL@ puff puff pass.
Gotta come to netherlands. Don't know about the orign of the car, but I really like it, nicely detailed and good meshes. Added 2 days later: So, another day, another render, Got it almost how I want it.
