# ErwinFenyvesi23 :
The good , the bad , and the ER34.

-✔ Hey guys , so , first of all , today was probably the most fun I had in quite a while. Skip and Radcoon showed up at the shop in the afternoon and man , after a little bit of chatting we took the ER for a little bit of "hoonage" and man it was fun ! The car was sliding around with 4 people in it ! I don't know how the NA engine managed to pull all of that weight and slide so good but I gotta say , this is one hell of a car that I bought ! Skip sat next to me in the front and Radcoon had to sit in the back with Mackay because he was scared of my driving :)) . My boys know , sometimes you just gotta send it ! Also , I really love seeing others peoples cars evolve ! Radcoons 1JZ swapped '86 is just so clean ! It's such a sleeper , and Skip's Supra , oh man , that thing looks fire with the bodykit he's running ! I'm glad I moved to Osaka , life is just perfect over here...✔-

-✔ So , this morning I decided to make use of the Super Taikyu wing from the S14 and I slapped it on the ER. It looks great tbh. A little bit of more downforce never hurt anyone , so why not put it on there ? Fun fact , I wasn't completely confident in my skills of drilling a trunk , because y'know , it's kinda bad if you mess the trunk up and just make useless holes in it so I ended up letting Mackay drill the trunk. Big thanks to him , I was way too scared to drill into a Skyline trunk but he did it for me. It fits and looks great , too bad I'll have to take it off soon 'cuz the ER is going to paint on Saturday. The color will be quite unexpected so stay tuned for that ! I'm gonna keep the color secret and then do a little reveal on Monday. Man , it's gonna be great ! I can't wait to see that thing painted , it'll look so sick ! ✔-

-✔ I've worked more on the R33 today as well , I took every bodypanel off the R33. It's pretty much stripped to the chassis right now and I'm gonna send it to paint on Saturday along with the ER. While the cars are going to get repainted , I'm gonna work a bit more on the engine. I still have to strip it down to the block and tommorow all the parts for the engine should arrive. So , in theory , the engine should have over 600 hp and maybe with a good tune on the ECU , we're probably going to reach close if not over 700 hp. I don't know yet what the final number is , but I can't wait to get the R33 finished and dyno tuned. Here's the part list that me and Mackay made for the RB build :
I'm gonna run some R888's all around for maximum grip since this thing will be RWD. I changed my mind and I'm gonna get the 275/40ZR18 R888 tyres for the rear and the 245/40ZR18 R888's for the front. Now all I have to do is just find some rims to fit the tyres , but that's a long way from now. I hope the overall wheel setup won't be too overkill , but the first thing we need is to have the engine running perfectly at peak hp and after that I'll order the rims and tyres . We're getting there , that's for sure ! :) ✔-

-✔ In the afternoon the guys showed up and Radcoon brought me some things that I ordered. The air freshener went straight into the Supra and man , it smells like new car smell ! I'll have to get some more for my other cars 'cuz I love it ! He also brought that shift knob I ordered and man , it feels so weird to hold. That won't go in the Supra , it'll go in another car. The guys at the shop made lots of jokes on that shift knob , and it sorta became a meme among us , oh well , I can't lie , it does look weird... I'm more than sure my mom would be surprised to see what I'm spending my money on... :)) Also , these Bride seats are perfect for daily driving ! They're really comfortable and they hold you in place really well ! Mackay likes them too ! I'm so obsessed on how good they look though. Anyway , I don't know if I should turn the Supra into a street beast after the R33 is done , but I do know that these 2J's can hold a ton of power ! But y'all know that with great power comes great costs and I don't know how my budget will look like after the R33 is done. I got scared a little bit when I saw the overall cost of the engine parts , and I still need to buy new suspension , wheels , brakes , seats , and body panels. It's getting tough I must say... ✔-

.

-✔ And there's the ER getting sideways. It was so fun to just rip it ! All of the mods Mackay did to this go so well toghether ! This is probably the best drift car I've ever owned. The ER kinda became the shop's drift car if that makes sense , because I mostly keep it there just in case someone wants to go rip it around the shop. It's really fun , and the NA RB is doing the job just fine. The look on Radcoons face while drifting was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I just had to prove myself that I can drift decently enough. All the fun ended when I started doing a burnout and the rear tyres popped. Oh well , I guess I'll have to get some new tyres now , but I can't say it wasn't worth it. If any of you guys want a ride in the ER , come down to our shop , we're always open to car enthusiasts ! I must say , moving to Osaka was probably the best thing I've ever done. ✔-

-✔ Anyways , that would be all for now. I think I'll be a bit busy tommorow because I still have to strip the RB down to the block and install all the new parts. Also , don't forget to stay hydrated guys ! It's so hot lately ! Luckily , the shop has some baller air conditioning units that just make the place so cool ! Anyway , I'll see you guys next time , godspeed homies !

Haha , thanks bro ! I can't wait to see your AE dude ! I bet that 1jz rips ! I was planning when to go to Ebisu , but I really want to go over a weekend and just drift both on Saturday and Sunday , too bad it's not Drift Matsuri yet... I can't wait for August , because there's a Matsuri that month. Anyway , let's plan something out man ! We really gotta hang out more!

Thanks a lot man !

Homage...

-✔ Whassup homies ! So , first of all , I'd like to thank all of you guys who supported me and said really kind words about me or my cars. I really appreciate it and I wouldn't have gotten here without you guys , thank you ! Alright so , I guess you could say that I haven't slept this whole weekend , and I have a very good reason for that. So , after dropping the R33 and the ER at the paint shop , I ordered all the other parts I needed to finish the R33 and man , that was a lot of money-spending. My goal was to actually finish the R33 before Monday and that's where the no-sleep team came into play. As I said , big thank you to everyone , especially MACKAY , because without him the R33 wouldn't have been finished right now. I can say that I kept MACKAY and pretty much all the other guys at the shop up the whole weekend because I needed their help in order to finish the R33. Anyways , the R33 will be shown later in the update , but let's just focus on the smaller things first and leave the best for last. ✔-

-✔ So , as you can probably see , the ER finally got refreshed with a very nice new paintjob. The color is a Skyline color , some of you already know what it is , but yes , its Millennium Jade. I didn't want to go with something crazy on this car because I wanted it to look as classy and sporty as possible , and I'd say that I've successfully acquired that look. It looks very nice , right ? Well , I'd say so. The overall classiness hides the fact that it's indeed a drift car , doesn't it ? That was my plan. You'd never expect such a good looking and clean car to actually be an "undercover" drift car , would you ? I wouldn't... So , I'm not gonna mess with the engine of this thing because there's really no point in doing that. Mackay built this car to be able to handle all the drift tracks Japan has to offer , so , there's no point in going turbo. The RB Neo is in very good shape and as far as I'm concerned , Mackay never ran into any problems while using this car. I have to say that I absolutely love the new look ! Anyway , let's move on to the interesting part , the R33.✔-

-✔ Ahh yes ! The R33... I bet that no one expected this car to be this color. So , yes , the color is another Skyline color , it's the Gun Metal Grey. My inspiration and goal for this car was to make it like a "homage" to the R32 that Mackay previously built. What do you guys think ? Did I achieve my goal ? I think so. Even though the R33 is not as powerful as the Lagano's R32 , I did my best in making the R33 a successor to the R32. I know , the R32 was AWD , and widebody'd , and it had a drag wing and all of that jazz , but I did my best to make it look like the R32. Although there are lots of differences between these two cars , the goal was the same. I can't tell you guys how much I love the R33 right now ! Anyway , lets move on... ✔-

-✔ Once again , I took inspiration from the R32. We tried to make everything as "custom" as possible and man , we did quite a good job ! The wing was made by Mackay , and it's made out of aluminium. We tried to get as much downforce as possible to keep the car on the ground , because I kept it RWD. The Bomex bodykit helped us quite a bit due to its overall shape and form. In the end , there was no need for a front splitter because the car was riding pretty planted due to the HKS HyperMax III coilovers. The engine was built by the best man I know , which is MACKAY. He made sure we got all the parts that we needed and aimed for the maximum horsepower numbers we could squeeze out of this engine. Here's a detailed list of the engine specs : ✔-
-✔ Pretty impressive I must say. With over 10 grand spent on this engine , it was time to put it all together and get it running. Before we knew , the engine started perfectly on the first start , which was quite a lucky thing to happen. After that , we've put the car together and took it to the local dyno. At the dyno , we got some unexpected results. Remember that I said that I would be so happy if the car reached over 600 hp ? Well , it did actually happen , but the funny thing is that we got some unholy powernumbers. Yes , we've managed to get 666HP , kinda funny , right ? Anyway , we've also got some pretty nice torque numbers , 633 ft-lbs of torque. The engine is very well balanced and the power output is unbelievable. Surprisingly , some rumors started going around that this might be "the Devil's R33" but we'll have to see it for ourselves tonight on the Wangan. Speaking of Wangan , Mackay took me for a drive with his freshly built R34 and man , that things was so fast ! When he floored it I just felt my organs pushing against my ribs and back muscles ! That thing is just... I can't even describe it! It's devilish!✔-

-✔ As for the wheels and brakes , it was really hard to find rims that actually matched with my preferred tyre specs. Because I kept the car RWD , I decided to go for the 275/40ZR18 R888 tyres on the rear and the 245/40ZR18 R888's on the front. Now , I know , I got some massive tyres on the rear , well , I wanted to make sure I put all that power down and not wheelspin everywhere , and they do the job perfectly ! The rims are Work Racing CE28N rims all around , but the setup is not squared. The rear rims are 11.0x18's and the fronts are 9.8x18's. I must say , these R888's are really grippy ! They do the job perfectly and put all the power down with no issues at all. About the brakes , I decided to go with a full Wilwood brake set kit. The calipers have 6 pistons and the discs are drilled and vented all around. I wanted to make sure this car is able to stop at maximum speed so , these brakes should do the job just fine. ✔-

-✔ So , when you're going way past 250 km/h you start getting worried about your overall safety , and that's why I upgraded from the old stinky stock seats. I decided to get some Bride Zeta III's because I have a really good experience with Bride seats. I actually have Bride seats in all the cars that I own , so no wonder I chose to go with Bride. The seats are very comfortable and keep you in place really good. I also kept the back seat in the car , because y'know , if someone wants to experience this car from the back seat , they can ! There was no need for a rollcage because it wouldn't have done anything besides just adding a whole lot of weight. Mackay and me also reinforced the chassis so that it has more stiffness , and you can never go wrong with more chassis stiffness , that's for sure ! I also got myself a nice Nardi steering wheel ! It feels and looks great ! ✔-

-✔ So , that would be pretty much it ! The R33 is finally finished and man , I can't wait to take it on the Wangan tonight ! I'll also take MACKAY with me because y'know , I have to pay back the favor ! He took me in his R34 , I'll take him in my R33. So , at first , I had mixed feelings about this R33. I wasn't expecting it to grow on me so much , and now that it's finally finished , I can't explain how much I love it ! When I first bought this thing I was thinking that I'll just build the R33 into a decent street car and maybe sell it to make some more profit , but man , I was so wrong ! After all the sleepless nights and effort put into it I just can't sell it right now ! I really love this thing and even though my wallet got slim like Slim Shady , I want to keep this thing for as long as possible. I wonder how many of you guys like this car ... If you're interested in possibly buying it in the future , let me know , but for now , I wanna enjoy it as much as I can ! So , guys , come down to Osaka , hang out with us at the shop and just have some fun! You're all invited to take a seat in the R33 and enjoy the demonic horsepower this has to offer ! Now , I can't lie , but there are way more cars that I want to own on my list. As a next car , I'd really like an R32 and that would be just amazing , but there's the catch. Cars cost a lot of money , and in order to make them what you actually want them to be, you have to put a lot of work , effort and money into them. I can say that I would be incredibly sad if something bad happened to this car , because it's like a child to me ! I just love it with all my heart ! Anyway , I can't say for sure what my next move will be , because money pretty much determines almost everything I do in my life at the moment , but I'm sure I'll work something out. I'll be in Tokyo in the next days and I can't wait to meet my boys Radcoon and Skip in my R33 , I wonder how they'll react seeing this thing in person ... Talking about Radcoon , he managed to find some really nice HKS floor mats , and long story short , I've bought them. I'll pick them up at Radcoons shop and I think they'll go straight into the R33. I've always been really cautious with my interior , because I don't have floor mats in my Supra nor in my R33 , and fun fact , sometimes , I drive shoe-less while driving just to not get the interior carpet all dirty and muddy , Mackay knows this and he always laughs when he sees me driving in my socks. ✔-

-✔ Anyway , that'll be all for now , I hope you guys enjoy how the cars turned out and yeah , demonic godspeed homies ! ;) ✔-

Interesting color choice for your R34! Doesn't really look like Millenium Jade in the pics though, i guess i'll have to see it in person.

And it's quite obvious that your R33 got some inspiration from my R32 but also with some differences, you nailed it! Black rims make it look even meaner, not to mention that wing too! Also looks like that you went for a darker shade of grey than my R32, actually i'd prefer this paintjob on it.

It has a more sliver pearl in person but it didn't really show up on camera. Come and see it for yourself man ! I'm waiting !

Haha , thanks bro ! The color is a darker shade of grey than your R32 indeed , I did that to match the rims and make the car look meaner as you said. I really like how it came out ! ;)

Damn! I really want to say that the new color really fits the four door, I wasn't expecting that for sure. Yeah, keep it NA my man, it won't be as expensive to run and maintain, also I am confident to say that you can beat on this thing whenever you want and it won't let you down, as it is "bulletproof" car right with such setup right now.

Yeah, it is a little bit darker than R32's color, but this one suits the car really well too! You definitely did a great job building your R33 and I really proud of you, you owe us all for that sleepless weekend haha. Thanks for good words about me too man, I really appreciate it! Also if we talk about the engine, yeah, we definitely squeezed everything we could from it, now it is running kinda on the risky side with such high horsepower as there is no room for error right now, I would advise you to turn the boost down, and only turn up when there is need for it, no need to strain the engine day in day out, I am sure that it can handle it no problem, but just my two cents. I will be able to advise on your settings better after tonights test on the expressway, fun fact is that it will be my first time going as a passenger as I don't really trust anyone else driving so fast and if something happens I want to be responsible for my own life and mistakes, not someone else. You saw how me and others drive there, shit is dangerous, and you need to be focused the whole time, all I will say is that we ain't going back to garage if we won't reach 290KM/H, I will make you push it out of your comfort zone..

Can't wait to see what will happen, we definitely taking both R's to Wangan after you get used to your car and the road. Good luck man.

Thank you so much ! I really apreciate it ! It was such a hassle to build this thing up , but it wouldn't have been possible without the boys at the shop and the mastermind behind this project , Mackay ! ;)

Alright then man , I'll hit Tokyo with the R33. It looks so good in person , I can't wait for you to see it ! :P

Haha , thanks ! I wanted to choose a unique color for this car since my idea behind it was to make it look like a really classy daily car , but in reality it to be a drift car. As far aa I'm concerned , I don't think anyone runs Millennium Jade on their drift car , so that makes the ER unique ! :)

It was really fun , yet scary to run on the Wangan with you. For me , it was scary because I was the one driving , but I'm sure you had a lot of fun! I remember you asked me how it feels and I just wasn't able to respond because I was the most focused I've ever been in my life. Going at 320 km/h is really scary and you really need to give your best on focusing on the road , also , your reflexes have to be almost inhuman when you're going at such speed , reaction time is also really important. Anyway , I'm glad we're okay and nothing bad happened , but I really need to start getting used to this car ,thats for sure! It's so weird because , after going at such high speed , I feel like everything else I drive like my Supra or the ER just feels like I'm driving in slow motion , I think I got addicted to speed ... :O

I'm surprised that we were gripping the road the entire time ! Those 275's are amazing for grip , thats for sure ! I'm really glad I went with such a wide setup ! Wheelspin on the wangan is not good at all and thats what I wanted to prevent. You can never have enough grip , you already know ! :D

I'll take your advice and run it at half boost when daily-ing it around town and only go full boost on special occasions. I really don't want to beat the engine too hard , becausw y'know , my wallet is really slim right now and I can't really afford to replace parts.... :(

Anyway , it was really fun riding with you , we'll hit the wangan soon again , after I get the hang of the car , of course ! I can't wait to see our R's going head to head , even though you're probably going to smoke me ! :))

Thanks a lot !

Also yeah , nice buy ! If we both had ER's that would've been cool , too bad yours is an HR. You can always swap an Neo RB in it and you're pretty much good to go ! ;)

Erwin, fun fact is that I was also looking at HR model before yours ER, and fyi for you both, HR and ER is completely same apart the engine, no differences, only later facelift and GTV GTX or Turbo trims got some changes in suspension and exterior.

Also congrats on your first wangan run, wait till the full squad goes out!

Unexpected call...

-✔ Alright so , here's a little unexpected update covering everything that happened lately. First of all , I cannot express how fun is to daily drive the R33. I know , I know , it should be the Wangan car and not the daily driver but hey , having 666hp at your disposal at all times is just so fun ! Though , I've turned the boost halfway down when I'm usually dailying the R33 , because you guys know , with great power comes great responsibility , and I don't wanna beat the engine too hard at all times , because that leads to certain parts getting very used up and eventually breaking. I think I've spent around 20 grand on this car and I really don't know what the retail price of this thing would be , but a thing is for certain , I'm keeping it around until I get bored of it , and there's no way I'm selling my "Wangan car" just yet , I need to have more fun before I get rid of it , which will probably never happen or will happen but in the long long future. Either way , I'm not ready to let go of it just now , but who knows ? Maybe I'll get a really good offer in the future and say yes. I really don't like thinking about this because I just consider this thing my child but hey , you know what they say , if you love something set it free. ✔-

-✔ Ahh , the ER. As of now this thing is just sitting in front of the shop with really bald tyres. You may wonder why. Well , it's because I've entered that little giveaway the performance shop is doing and the prize is a fresh set of R888's for your car. Now , I know what you guys are thinking , am I just gonna shred the fresh new tyres if I win them ? Well , no. Why ? Because I've been thinking and I might turn the ER into a daily car , because it consumes less fuel and it's naturally aspirated , of course. Why turn such a good drift car into a daily driver ? Well , as you guys know , the Supra is begging for an overhaul and to be honest , I want to make that thing into a "brother" of the R33. And to get the Supra from a stock engine to an absolute street beast will take a lot of time rebuilding and upgrading the engine and , you guessed it , a lot of money. Well , money wouldn't be a problem because ... actually , I'll talk about that at the end of the update. Anyway , the ER hasn't changed a bit and I'm afraid it won't change any time soon. ✔-

-✔ Ohh how I love this thing... I worked on it a bit this morning , I've been wondering how to get some more horsepower for free and Mackay gave me an idea. He told me that if I turn the boost pressure up to 1.2 bar I might get some free horsepower without having to worry about anything. Said and done ! It was a 10 minute job and I must say , if you can do this to any engine without making it toast or blowing it up , you're a good tuner ! I really hope this thing won't blow up in the middle of the Wangan , but I trust Mackay 100% that everything will be fine and the engine will remain as reliable as it was before. After all , it's a Toyota engine , these things don't break that easily ! ✔-

-✔ Before I decided to go test the freshly "upgraded" Supra I stopped at the dock for some awesome shots. I can't tell you guys what mods are coming for this thing because I really don't know at the moment. I've owned this thing for quite a long while and I've kept it stock until now ( besides the awesome coilovers and wheels ). I could maybe get a sick bodykit for the Supra , or just upgrade the engine even further , or maybe change it up a bit and give it a fresh new color or wheels , who knows at this point ? I've always considered the Supra being really beautiful with no bodykit on. The overall shape is just so nice and round , I'd go as far as calling it "sexy" but anyway , big things are coming for this thing for sure. ✔-

-✔ As the sun was setting it was time to step on the gas and start the fun. Ahh , nothing feels more relaxing and fun than cruising on the Wangan driving your so called "dream car". After warming my tyres and brakes up I decided to floor it . The Supra really feels faster , Mackay was right ! Right as I was shifting into 4th gear I heard a little "pop" in the back of the car , and it's something that I don't usually hear from this car. She managed to squeeze out her first little backfire ! That was such an engaging moment for me and the car , because I basically rebuilt this thing from the ground up and here she is , making some actual performance from the bone stock engine ! That is just ... I dunno ... "sugoi" ?! ✔-

-✔ And that brings me to the last part of the update which is usually my thoughts on what happened recently. So , here's a little thing that happened yesterday. The title is already showing what actually went down but let me explain in further detail. So , I got a call from someone I never heard about or known , they were talking about my shop in Tokyo. I quickly remembered that I listed that thing for sale , but I just forgot about it because , well , I've had so much fun in these past few weeks that I just completely forgot about that place. Anyway , they said that they would be willing to buy the whole garage. I was quite surprised that someone actually wanted that place. And then happened the unexpected. They offered me just a little bit more than I was asking for. Originally I listed that place for sale for around 12000 V$. I'd say that it was the apropriate price for it since the shop pretty much had every tool that you would need inside , but they offered to pay more than the price I asked. They offered me 15000 V$ and I was mindblown. Turns out that the guy who called me wants to restore that place , clean it up and sell it to someone else down the road. Of course , I said yes instantly and I just watched how the money were flowing right into my wallet. Now , that is absolutely great ! I thought I'd never manage to sell that junkpile , but turns out that I somehow got lucky enough. Anyway , more money means , of course , more fun ! Now that I'm not in the danger zone when it comes to money , I can afford something new , or go with my original plan. Oh yes , my boys already know what I'm talking about , daddy wants a new toy... ( that sounds terrible and I should never use that expression again ). ✔-

-✔ And as you know , you can do a lot of stuff with money , right ? Well , hell yeah ! My life is kinda ruled by money and I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. And this whole thing just left me thinking and wondering for the last 24 hours. Should I buy a new car ? Or should I continue upgrading the Supra ? Here's what I'm thinking right now. The Supra is already a really great daily driver and overall street car , so why not get a cheap little car to restore and have fun with ? If you're asking me right now what would I do , the answer you'll probably get would be to buy something new , to spice some things up , if you guys know what I'm saying. Now , here's my plan : I already have a daily car , which is the Supra , my Wangan car is the R33 , and my drift car is the ER. I would need something that I could restore and use to have more fun , and as of now , I would probably choose to do the whole restoration scheme that I did on the Supra and after I'm done fixing everything , build it up into a monster , like the R33 for example. Therefore , I will take Mackay tomorrow for a little lunch break in the city and make a stop at the local junk yard , just to see what we could find worth restoring. To be quite honest , this is just what I wanted ! I really hope me and Mackay will find something nice to buy and restore it. Anyway , this is just a temporary plan because I'm waiting for the feedback from you guys. I'd rather be told what to do than do something dumb again and do the whole "RX-7 FD3S" move. ✔-

-✔ Anyway guys , that'll be all for now , I'm really waiting to see what you guys think. Feel free to post anything as feedback and yeah , I'll see you soon ! Maybe tomorrow or on Monday , because as you guys know , I'm making a little trip to Tokyo this weekend to hang out with my bros , Radcoon and Skip ! Anyway , I'll see you guys around , godspeed homies ! ;) ✔-

I hear people saying, if you set boost to over 1 BAR boost pressure, the fuel may cut out, I could be wrong.

Don't worry, your Supra will be fine, the only bad thing that could happen is OEM turbos blowing up as they are ceramic and doesn't like high boost very well, but two 1.2 bar is safe, we also took care of "boost cut" which happens in VVTI models, I'll tell you more about that in person. ;)

Also I can't wait for tomorrow, I am definitely not letting you buy something stupid, we gonna find something good for sure!

Well , after doing some research on the 2JZ stock twin turbos I did find out that the JDM spec 2JZ ( the one in my Supra ) has ceramic twin turbos and they can safely handle 17.4 psi or 1.2 bar. The US spec twins can hold up to 20.3 psi or 1.4 bar because they are made out of steel. So , as far as I'm concerned , the engine should make around 400 hp as Mackay said. That was probably the easiest earned hp that I ever got. I'm really glad I did that ! :bananajump:

Added 2 minutes later:

Oh damn ! That's great ! I did some research about the ceramic turbos and as you said , they can indeed run safely at 1.2 bar. That's the easiest power gain ever ! Thank you for telling me !

I can't wait either ! I wonder what we'll find ! God I'm so hyped !

That's a pretty powerful R33! Supra looks pretty fun to daily too haha. I think you should turbocharge the R34, either through a swap or via a turbo conversion, but that's just me. After all, you already have plenty of money to do so. Regardless, good luck!

Thank you ! I dunno about going turbo on the ER , it might actually make it better in terms of driftability , but I'm trying to keep it as bulletproof as possible right now. I might do a little rebuild of the engine in the future , but right now there's no need to do that. After all , it's a NEO so it can pretty much drift on any track in japan.

As for the money , well , I did a little thing so , expect more on that soon. ;)

Expect the unexpected...

-✔ Alright guys , here's a little update of what went down yesterday. So , as you know , I've been thinking about getting a new car and I asked myself : What do I really want to build ? What are my plans ? Well , long story short I've found out that somehow I contracted this disease called "Need for Speed" from the R33. Sadly , that disease has a lot of after-effects which include horsepower addiction , strong desire for loud engine noises and backfiring noises , torque dependence and many other life threatening side effects. Either way , somehow I managed to realize what I actually want , and yes , I want another Wangan car. Now , it was very difficult to pick a certain car and just put a whole lot of money and effort into it because there were so many options ! There were so many cheap cars that I could buy ! I didn't know what I really wanted , so , after discussing my plans for the future car with Mackay , he told me that the perfect car for me would be a Nissan. After thinking for hours ( literary ) I've decided to study the aerodynamic coefficients of certain Nissan cars produced between the 1990s and 2000s. From the get-go I've told myself that there's no way I'm picking an S-chassis. It was quite hard for me because I had to think about the price of the car and the mods that I'm gonna do to it. At a certain point I thought maybe I could get another Skyline , but they were way too expensive for my budget , and then I found out that I completely forgot about the Fairlady family. It was more than clear that I wasn't going to be able to the S30 , and to be quite honest , the S31 never really appealed to me in any sort of way because of the pop-up headlights ( don't get me wrong , I'm the biggest fan of pop-up headlights but they just don't suit the S31 , that's just my opinion. ) and there it was , the legendary Z32. Ahh , I can't tell you guys how much I love the Z32 ( or 300ZX ). I really like the overall shape of the body and the engine had the exact capabilities that I wanted. And there's where the search started. After hours upon hours of searching I found this amazing red 300ZX which was located in Osaka. I hopped into the R33 and took off to that guys location. Turns out that this guy somehow got bored of the car because "it was a pain in the ass to work on it". Well , you could say that didn't stop me from buying it , after some negotiations I managed to get this thing for a solid 5500 V$ and a beer. Oh well , I'd say it was very worth it. ✔-

-✔ And that's how I managed to get my hands on a 1994 Nissan 300ZX/Z32. The car runs smoothly and it's the twin turbo variant. More turbos , more fun , right ? Hell yeah. So , this thing is absolutely bone stock everywhere , suspension , engine , body , you name it. This thing has the VG30DETT engine , of course because it's the twin turbo variation. The engine is a 3 liter twin turbo V6 producing just about 300 hp. This engine is perfect for what I'm gonna do to it. Let me give you some clues on how good this engine is. So , the engine block can hold up to 800 hp and the internals can hold up to 600 hp , the VG is also quite a torquey engine having 283 ft-lbs of torque. The VG30DETT also has an iron block with aluminum heads , hence the quite high horsepower resistance. The car also came with a five speed manual transmission which is absolutely amazing, I'm really glad it's not an automatic , I would've had to change the whole transmission and mess the wiring in order to make it a manual. All hail manual transmissions ! Anyway , this thing is gonna get built to be equal to the R33 , but maybe it'll even surpass the unholy 666hp the R33 has. ✔-

-✔ Interior wise , everything is stock as I mentioned before , but there's something special about in here. It's the super rare 2 seater version as well , and that is absolutely great. Less interior , lighter the car , right ? Well yeah , though the back seat could've been useful for carrying more people , oh well , this car is going to be a Wangan car so theres no need for a back seat. I've also always loved this feature on the Z32s , the see-through roof. No , it's not a sunroof , it's a real see-through roof. It looks so cool ! As you can see , sadly the car didn't come with the stock wheels , but instead came with some stock R33 wheels. That's not that bad ! I'd even go as far as saying that it fits the car better than the stock wheels do. As everything else on this car , the brakes are also stock. The Z32 brakes are often used for brake swaps on S-chassis due to their great braking ability , and as far as I'm concerned , the pads should be in good shape as well. Either way , I'm probably going to change them to a more "modern" kind of brakes. I want to be able to stop when I'm going +300 km/h and I think the OEM brakes won't be enough for that. ✔-

-✔ This car is also street legal but I'm afraid that it will no longer be when I'll be done with it. As for the upcoming mods , I will need to change pretty much everything on this Z. I'd like this car to surpass the R33 , but we'll see about that , because money is really important when it comes to modifying a car. A new bodykit will be needed , new brakes , new wheels , engine upgrades ... pretty much everything. It's gonna take a while but hang in there ! The end result is going to be absolutely badass. As for the aero and chassis reinforcements , me and Mackay will try to make everything as custom as possible. It's gonna take a while to get this thing done , but as a project car , it's pretty much perfect. ✔-

-✔ I think all of you know by now that I'm in Tokyo for this whole weekend and I've took the R33 with me. The pics above are the long long awaited really rare HKS floor mats from my boy Radcoon ! Oh god these look perfect in the R33. I still can't believe that I've got my hands on such rare floor mats , big thanks to Radcoon for keeping them safe for so long ! Anyway , I'm here in Tokyo to hang out with my boys and to overall relax , but I have to say that I'm really glad that I took the R33 with me. I'm definitely going to hit the Wangan tonight ! I can't wait to see Skips and Radcoons reactions. The R33 is really quick and I hope Radcoon won't get too scared going way over 280 km/h... >:) ✔-

-✔ Anyway , that's kinda all for now , I hope you guys are as excited as me for the Z32 build , it's gonna be the most hotboi/aggressive/extreme Z32 around. It's gonna evolve into a real beast after me and Mackay start working on it. Also , should I keep the Z32 in this OEM Aztec Red color ? I think I want to go with a more aggressive color , but I guess this will also work. Anyway , I'll see you guys around , godspeed homies ! ;) ✔-

Being wangan car more tough project, you need more power but same time you kept engine cool and try not to over heating.

# Dr. Zoom : Being wangan car more tough project, you need more power but same time you kept engine cool and try not to over heating.

It'll be easy. I've turned the R33 into a Wangan car with Mackay and it's really not that hard. You gotta invest a lot of money to get great horsepower numbers , but I already done that once so it won't be hard at all. It'll take a while , but that's obvious.
