Hi, my name is Stanley, also known as JapaneseLexus, I'm a Mechanic, I've been saving up some money since I started working as a mechanic, and have brought myself V$20,000. I'm a BMW, Lexus and Audi lover. I'd like to buy a "new" car, So I've found a 00' BMW E46 318i, with 200k miles, for V$ 5,400. I hope I can buy it! |

You should try and find a nice IS200, and swap a 2J or a 1U-Z in it (if it does not already have a 2J)
However, this beamer is nice, but 200k miles is a lot for a german engine, those things do not last very long |

What would you swap it with?
A nice V8 like a 1U-Z would make a nasty street race car, it would probably run 11's, with a turbo you could get into the 9's |

I was thinking of a S85B50 V10 or the M3 E46 engine, the S54B32. But the 2J idea is nice, tho.
Added 20 seconds later: I have to get the car first |

Also, a friend is trying to sell me his 316i E30, for V$ 1,000. The problem is that the paint is in bad shape, there isn't engine and needs some replacement parts in the body and in the interior. If you, guys can help me with that, It would be appreciated.

# DFRacing98 : We can definitely help, I'll talk to stance. He just did my mustang, and It is bad assI didn't fabricate a rollcage for your car , i fabricated one in my 1jz 240 In your stang i cutted the front end, fabricate an tubular front end and a floor pan with tubular structure And i make a simple black paint in the modified areas for avoiding rust. That's it Added 4 minutes later: In the e30 we can make an 1jz swap , rb25 swap ,2uz swap , Ls swap , etc etc... I need you to tell me what you want us to do to your car, so we start working, and to avoid falling short of budget and money problems in the middle of the project, The price of the work done in your car will be said at the end of the work, As you will work in it, too the price of labor will be discounted a bit ... Do you agree ? |

# Mr.Stance : I didn't fabricate a rollcage for your car , i fabricated one in my 1jz 240I want a 1JZ in the E30, A S54B32 in the 318i. The E30 has a lot of rust, someone tried to paint the car, but the paint is a totally disaster in some parts of the body you can see the original paint, as I said before the car needs an engine, the driver's door window is missing, the badge in the hood is missing, the front left quarter panel is damaged due to an accident. In conclusion the car needs a lot of work. But let's do it. |

Nice cars! , But , I think you were scammed with the E46, a 318i , the most basic e46 ,in good condition and with an engine working costs well less than 2k , with less than 5k you can buy a 328CI Manual with clean title , or a 330i sedan
*LINK* *LINK* *LINK* Maybe the car cost 553$ instead of 5553... In another topic ... I need to know what you want to do to the cars, a detailed list. (Also that you pass the mods of the cars and parts lol) |

Clean title. About the E46 price, it's ok I think we can recover part of the money selling the engine the N46B20, which is worth 1500-2000 USD. it's worth, it's a nice car tho.
Things to do on the E30: -1JZ Swap -Replace the BMW badges with the Black and White ones -Bride seats -Brembo discs and Calipers -Roll Cage -Remove Rust -Repaint, with Black please -If possible replace headlights with the yellow ones. -Nardi Steering Wheel -Put the driver's door window. -Replace the front left quarter panel -If possible replace the bumpers for a better ones. -Put the //M gear knob -Remove parts of the interior, you know... weight. -For the doors interior part red and black combination, please. -Put a nice rims, take into account that I want a Rally BMW E30 Things to do on the E46: -S54B32 Swap In conclusion, I want something like MACKAY's E46: This post was edited by JapaneseLexus (2018-06-25 04:41, ago) |

Hey, there are a number of problems ... 1 - You have the bmw e30 mod with removable interior, M shift knob, Red and black interior and all those things, as with the e46 mod? 2- If you have the mods, do you have enough money for all the work that needs to be done? , In the e30 is to make a car from scratch, and in the e46 is to make a drift car ... Added 1 minute later: # Mr.Stance : Hey, there are a number of problems ... 1 : If those mods exist and are public ... |

# JapaneseLexus : Oh, hey there man, it is so nice to see my builds being appreciated by someone else. Long story short I spent like 6 thousand or so on making it into drift car, suspension, fabricated turbo kit, and etc, don't forget that I put a lot of things only for looks, so in your case I would need like 4 or 5 thousand with M52 or M54 swap included in the price to make it go sideways and be competitive against other Japanese brand drift cars, in my opinion there is no need for M3 engine, built M52\M54 with turbo all the way. My bimmer is now owned by ParkerFM01 as I sold it to him, but he is currently inactive. If I am right you are located in the USA right ? If only you were in Japan I could build you same spec or even better E46 for a lot less than most guys can. I could fly out to USA and build it in your garage, but we are talking big money there, so you better stick with local shops. If you need more info, feel free to contact me or read about the E46 in my blog - E46 Update 1 E46 Update 2 (( if you are wondering my e46 mod got some changes, textures, scripts and etc. I have all the things needed and ready for download if you really want to replicate it. )) |

I'm starting your E30, just got back from the partout. Some guy at a junkyard is selling a rebuilt 1J, almost everything is new, minus the block and a couple other things. He wants 4k, kind of a lot, but if I can't find anything else I'll have to go with it.

New car!
I just bought a RX8 from Copart, the ad said minor damage, but when I tried to start the car, the engine cranked but it won't start, anyways I bought it. The price was V$ 675, also the suspension is in bad shape. *LINK* When I got home, I discovered that the problem was the battery, I replaced it and now it's working, yey!. The next step is to change the suspension, tires and the engine liquids (oil, coolant, etc). Pics: Finances: V$ 13,447 - V$ 1,675 (Mazda RX-8) - V$ 25 (Valvoline 5W20 Oil)- V$ 233 (Optima RedTop Battery) = V$ 11,514 This post was edited by JapaneseLexus (2018-06-30 01:17, ago) |

V$675? That's just too good to be true, even if it has more problems with the engine. (little too cheap tbh, you should fix it)
Anyway, good luck with it but look out for any more engine problems, it can get pretty complicated with a rotary. |
