In these two images there are transparent squares in front of the lights. How do I get rid of them?

In the cfg's for the headlights, there should be lines that say city, signal, ect or something like that. City will be listed twice along with another line. Delete the upper most city line. Make a copy of the cfg before you do this. same for the tailights. Delete the upper most city and brake lines

the city part is right but being the upper most is wrong, because each moder might do to it differently for e.g. some of my cars might have 4x city lines in it.. delete the one that has id such as 0x00000xx(last xx'es are a number/letter)

and leave the one that has id like 0x03000xx( this one will be the glowing bit not the square texture/mess you see)

I seemed to have got lucky in that case lol. I've just been going in and deleting the uppermost ones. Thanks for pointing that out.
