Hey Guys
some of you might remember me from G.S.M-Team a few years ago.
and i'm actually back. what i'm working on?

i would like to call them senseless Addon Parts
some stuff that nobody needs but everybody wants

ok enough talking here are some parts i made so far:

Meguiars Cleaning Bucket:

(also a Paintable/Decalable Version)

Mufflers:
"Gruppe A" Straight Pipe



DTM Style Exhaust:



"Diesel Look" Exhaust:



also got an Addon Intercooler but it still needs some work
the Intercooler are basiclly "filler" for big bumpers
where you don't have a fitting Engine for
Examples:



and just for the LOLS


i might take Requests for Mufflers if you can Provide some good
pictures of them.

The idea with the intercooler is very good, but the straight exhaust pipe needs to be better.

You could do the exhaust case in chrome or black and not grey and in my opinion the pipe is too big.

and it just looks bigger then it is might also make a 2nd version later on that got a smaller pipe

i use them only for tubes, it come way quickier and precise ;D

Ok well i'm not that Dexter.
My Old name was Harlequin/Undead Deamon i was modding a few years
Ago i made the 1988 Accord in the Database.

I just made it Chrome so it is just "Diesel-Look" and not a normal Diesel Muffler.

# hsrzse : Instead of Diesel-look, we call it "turn-downs." I used to work for a muffler shop and did alot of custom exhaust work. I honestly would love to see some universal exhaust systems. Some separate pieces instead of the entire exhaust system being one piece. Mufflers that are just mufflers and the tips are separate. With the adjustable scripts in game it wouldn't be a hard concept to achieve. Have pipe sections in various lengths and various bends (straight, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90). Catalytic converters, mufflers, exhaust tips. Script the pipe sections to be connectable at each end, as well as the mufflers, and the tips connectable at the inlet. If I was MAX-capable I'd make some of the pieces but last time I tried to make something in MAX it was so small in game it would fit an R/C Car and I had no clue how to fix it.

It's not impossible, but it would still be alot of work to get such a thing working for ALL cars. And since not 1 car uses the same scale/size it's going to be difficult.

As for the 3Dsmax thing, have you tried scaling it up and then export?

i just ask my self why u want to have different catalatic convertors and different pipe sizes? slrr havent any scripts that a power difference will happen? its a lot of work just to have different meshes, wich have no effect on power to a car. nobody will do that senceles work

There should be more decoration on it (front logo on the grill and rear logos on the trunk etcetra etcetra....)

Some paintable trim parts for the black colored chassis (and on other parts too) areas so you can get the full car in one color only would have been nice.

well the parts you mean require add on scripts i'm currently working on,
everything on the car right now replaced the basic mesh/scripts so there will be all the Logos (Skoda Logo, VRS Logo)

also i'm working on 3-4 diffrent versions of the Grill and stuff like Paintable Roof, Matte Black Roof, and stuff like that also the Mirror Caps will be in diffrent versions, just need to do the add on scripts

I'd say you need to work on your materials! :) especially glass.. the material should be BLACK with low-ish opacity and good reflection. :)
