Hello everyone, I'm having a few problems with certain items in the game (buildings and AI cars) not loading very quickly. I've lost track of how many times, I've punted an AI car in Valo City, due to it being fully loaded into the game.

What causes this? Any ideas? (Some of the AI racers are corrupted, as well - parts missing etc)

One other small question, how in the blue hell has this guy managed to get the game working so smoothly? (And where can I get the sounds file from!)

Wolves of Valo's Redline Racer

edit: Still having problems with my framerate stuttering. Should I run the game in 1920x1080 (My native resolution) or maybe @720p instead?

in order to load everything fast as that slrr you must:

> not use any forced AA from your gpu
> use low LOD and OBJECT detail or low VIEW DISTANCE(ingame setup)
> possibly almost none(if not none at all) PARTICLES

Thanks again, for all your help, BB. What do you mean by "Forced AA from my GPU"? Can I still use your settings you gave me for CCC?

well you have to choose between quality or speed(since as far as i understood your pc is not exactly the most performant ever), so you can use them if you want good quality but if it lags badly you need to use a lower setting.

Looks like a car called C2 is causing the problem with a missing _VT file or broken one

Thanks, Blu. I did wonder if it was the Citroën C2 I'd just added to the game, so I removed it. It still crashed, though. I only removed the car, but not its parts. Should I do both? Also, isn't it weird how one install of the game will work with one set of cars, but another, with the same vehicles on the same PC won't run at all?

The only file you have to remove is the C2 .RPK. After that the game will not "see" that car.

If you remove that file and the game still crashes, you have more than one problem.
I fix mods.

Thanks. So, I've removed the C2 from the game (and a Bora I used in another install, that worked fine....) and I now get this error when entering the new car dealer:

java.render.osd.Gadget:sendMessage (line:211)
java.render.osd.Button:click (line:31)
java.render.Group:handleEvent (line:178)

Should I just give up and start again?
