Ford Mustang 2010-2014 (S197 Facelift)
by RedCarDriver
Forza 4 / Horizon / FH2 conversion
I decided that there was literally no way I was going to let this mod go without a public release for another year. It should have been done months ago, and didn't need anything but a few finishing touches anyway. As such, I haven't checked everything (although I'm sure I haven't done anything silly like forget to turn the VT prevalence down again from testing, lol); I'm pretty sure I'm happy with the state of this mod, but any public release is better than another delay.
The Mustang Wheel Pack is REQUIRED for this mod to work (unless you like the idea of your car coming without wheels in the catalog).
The rescripted Devil's V8 is also highly recommended. The car comes with the MC_Prime_Superduty standard engine, but the intention is that you can drop in an engine kit easily.
All models included:
- GT 2010
- Boss 302 2013 / Boss 302 Laguna Seca 2013
- Shelby GT500 2010
- Shelby GT500 2013
- Shelby 1000 2012
- Roush Mustang 2010
- Roush Stage 3 2013
...as well as a few parts for 2010 and 2013 V6 models.
UPDATED 2019-04-01 for new black glass materials.
UPDATED 2019-04-11 to fix a package conflict.
awesome! finally a good replacement for my old 'stang!
good work, as usual.
OMG perfect
Also, I see no Saleen parts!
Why so much complaining?
Because it's obvious it's great mod.
Weird... the Boss 302 comes with wheels and brakes in my copy of the game. o_0

Try making sure you have the latest version of the Mustang wheel pack, if you installed an older version for testing? The brakes are new.
Also, there aren't any Saleen parts for this Mustang in Forza, probably because Saleen was having some problems in 2010 and licensing would have been a huge headache for Turn 10. Steve Saleen was no longer involved with Saleen, Inc. at the time; he formed SMS instead, and there were two "Saleen" Mustangs produced on the S197a chassis: the SMS version, and the MJ Acquisitions / "Saleen Performance Vehicles" version. So there's that: even if Steve Saleen is back with the company now, Roush pulled ahead of Saleen in the meantime as Ford's favorite aftermarket tuner.
Also, because I was lazy & didn't want to model complicated kits.
If you haven't updated them in last three hours, then I have the latest version.
OMG, Great Work Harrison15
@ KeeJay: Weird. Anything in your error log? You shouldn't get any package conflicts from these mods.
im getting weird crashes and such as well, i LOVE the mod, when it works.. i can hardly load the full car without the game crashing
Dang it... I thought I had gotten rid of all of the package conflicts, but I must not have checked thoroughly enough. D'oh.
Okay, I'm going to look into that; but, don't expect a quick answer about it.
OK, I'll wait.
Side note: the camshaft power balance trick makes your game crash if you don't have standard SLRR V8.
"Wow, this is a great mod, I better complain on it."
I'm using LE2BB93 and this mod is brilliant. Quality with no lag (and my PC is all but good on this) , maybe interiors are a bit too dark. The 2013 GT500 has a little mesh problem with stock rims/tyres , and as almost every fan I'd love more parts (A full 2012 and 2013 GT from the dealer ? Saleen ? Vert and strippable interiors would be awesome , but also really too much work) , but it's an awesome mod as is. physics are good too (a trick for who does drag : whatever mod you want to see if it has good physics , buy it from the dealer , change wheels with slicks & skinnies , take off the rear sway bar if possible. Street tires don't hook for a f**k and 9 times out of 10 you'll end up making love with side walls after 3rd gear). Works very well with rescripted Devil's V8 (even with little mesh clipping with the SC and water tank), would be awesome to have them in the car from the dealer. Again , this mod rocks and I love it.

Updated 2019-04-01 for new black glass materials from the Crossfire and R33, making those parts of the windows have the same specular as the rest of the glass. The stand-alone patch is here.
Updated 2019-04-11 to fix the long-standing duplicate ID problem. No more package conflicts, with any luck!
